I AM SOOOO a poster person.

I have so many that I don't have enough wall space to put them up.

Sometime in the future when I get my own place I will be able to frame them and put them up.

They are sort of expensive depending on where you get them.

I too am a poster person - my husband has suggested turning our garage into my poster gallery since I still have posters for 300, Nim's Island and Rocknrolla in the tubes. I have my big PS I Love You in my office and I printed out small Gamer and LAC posters which are now in the corners of the PSILY poster. Someday I should take a picture of my walls of posters in my office. I am watching for both the Gamer and LAC posters on eBay and as soon as they are available I'll be buying - for myself and for Vegas.

I have two 300 posters, but I haven't the money for the rest.

Most of mine are from the movie Serenity

I have a Watchmen one, but I'm waiting until I save up to get the rest of the Gerry ones I want.

I also have a lot of music posters.

So, Susan, eBay is good place to get them?

I usually like to wait for a little bit after the movie is released b/c they have different styles of posters for each movie!

I would be very happy and very grateful if someone volunteered to make me a siggie with the new LAC poster. I let out an audible gasp at work when I opened my email from Moira with that attached to it.

I have an extra room that has all my Gerry movie posters (and all my Gerry stuff and scrapbooking stuff, too) in it. I cannot wait to get these two added to the collection (I still need a POTO one, though).

I agree Lisa, those frackin' eyes in that LAC pic.

I'm really enjoying the LAC and GAMER pictures.

It really shows that different side of him. I know 'Gamer' is the action Gerry we know, but LAC is completely DIFFERENT. A psychopathic killer is something we've never seen from him and for some reason I have a feeling we are going to root for this one in a tiny way

His eyes have such an intensity, but such a softness as well.

They are gazeworthy

I have tons of Gerry magazine clippings, TONS!?!

But I haven't the money to buy too many posters.

My dad doesn't really support my Gerry habit...

I get most of my posters from eBay unless the film is big enough to get retail exposure - like Watchmen and 300 - I have posters for those that came from Spencers and Hot Topic. You need to watch eBay closely because the pricing for posters is all over the place - sometimes the amount for the poster is low but the shipping is high. I try to get the best combination of the two to get the best price - but if you buy as soon as they are released and there isn't much competition they are usually more expensive and then drop in price as more sellers enter the arena. Sometimes the little posters (the ones that about 14x17, I think called one-sheets) can be bought for as little us 99 cents. Those are the kind you can pick up for free sometimes at the theater (my Australia and Wolverine posters are those kind). They take up much less space and are a great option for those who have to pinch their pennies.

Bailes, I used to buy one poster a month on eBay. I got my RNR poster pretty cheap.

I'm not into how he looks in Gamer, but I do think this is going to be a great movie. I think it's also very different from what he's done before. 300 doesn't count ... that was a historical movie (sort of). To me, I'd rather watch men with swords than guns. I think it takes way more skill to use a sword. Anyway (I don't know where that came from), I think we'll see a completely different Gerry in both movies.

SIGH. We have to get through TUT first ... should be fun.

I too am a poster junkie. Have been since I was a teen. I have one sheets from 300, Phantom, and Broadway plays (GWD roles). But my pride and joy poster is a mylar poster from Dracula (1992) that was used in a theatre in NYC.

Each new movie he has coming out is going to show something that the public hasn't seen and I think they're all going to be good for him business wise and also personally.

Especially for LAC and TUT, he got to stretch that acting muscle we KNEW he had.

It's time the whole world knew it, damnit

I agree with you completely.

He looks different than in 300 because the bulked up look sort of went well with that role.

We'll just have to see more about who Kable is on the outside of the game to see why he would be so bulky. If that makes sense. I'm really interested in his back story and why he is on death row.

While I prefer Gerry just looking like he would if he WASN'T an actor, I can appreciate the lengths to which he goes to get that bulked up for a role like Kable. I would expect if Kable is supposed to be the best player in the world so that is probably why he is so muscle-bound. The little synopsis seems to indicate he was wrongly accused of whatever sent him to death row. I wonder what kind of job his character was supposed to have had before being sent to prison.

I think his backstory will be very interesting.
