  2. I am so sad to hear this... POTO - The Vegas Spectacular Closes Sept. 2, 2012

I saw this show a month after it opened. It is an AMAZING show and theater. I remember a group of us were suppose to see this show when we attended the GALS convention in 2007 but the show was canceled (don't remember why), so I never got to see it again. I had planned to take my daughter after she turned 18 (later this year) but it looks like that isn't going to happen now. :crybaby:

I hope those planning the Gals convention this year are able to get a block of tickets so attendees can see it together one last time. :phantom:

  3. I swear, I am never going to see this man in the flesh! :(

Gerry is in Chicago today promoting his new movie Machine Gun Preacher. He was on WGN news this morning and then appeared on Windy City Live later. I had hoped to get to one of those locations to just catch a glimpse of him but alas it was not meant to be. Things just didn't work out in my favor.

But on the bright side, one of our own GMCL's DID get on the show...TravelingTart (Monica) was there and the first to ask Gerry a question! She had a great question about when/if Burns would ever be made. She was also sweet enough to greet Gerry with a shout out from the GMCL's!!! Monica, thank you for that! :thankyou:

Moira was also there and she asked Gerry a question too. It was so nice to see members of our GB group getting to see Gerry in person AND getting to speak to him...and on tv no less! :D

I am sure some our other tarts were there too as Ryan (one of the hosts) said there was a line around the corner of fans waiting to see Gerry. If you were there, please tell us your story. We would love to hear it! :)
