  1. Gee, I am off for one night and all kinds of things happen! Now the GMCL's have their own thread on GALS...Awesome!!! (Thanks Dr. Em & Stef) I think many of you on GALS already know me because of B&G in Chicago and the GALS weight loss threads Get Healthy with GALS (discoveringme & the blonde )! I hope to see more of you on those threads as June is only 8 months away! We all want to be fit & trim for Vegas right! Speaking of Vegas, I cannot wait for the GALS convention in June!!! With the cold and snow here in Chicago, Vegas looks mighty good right now! :: It was great meeting some of the GALS at B&G! (Thank you to Beachie for all her help in organizing things between us!) I can't wait to meet more of you in Vegas! Trixie, Miklyn, Kelly & Stacie ...glad to see you ladies over here! This is a fun place and they do have great smilies/icons, especially the Gerry ones! :ohbaby2: Note: I would like the weight loss icons back! Stef can you help? I'll be around! PatKay
  2. OMG Steph...your siggie had me cracking up!!! Boys have cooties...too funny!!! :laugh4: Thanks for the great pics! ::
  3. The Flamingo sounds great!!! I was in Vegas in July and saw that the Flamingo has put a gigantic picture of their headliner, Toni Braxton that covers the entire side of the building that faces the strip! I am waiting patiently to get the 'secret code'! :laugh4:
  4. And what coffee shop did that happen at? I must get the address of the place!!! Rip Away Gerry, Rip Away!!! :baby:
  5. WOO HOO!!! I'm In!!! :yippee: :yippee: And it was super easy!!! Great job on the registration and payment process!!! :goodjob2: Now if only June 2007 would get here tomorrow!!! :laugh4: :ohbaby2:
  6. Of all evenings for my son to have a football game! :swear: I am going to have to race home from the game in order to be on time for registration!!! I am just praying the local police are out having a donut when I am breaking land speed records from the football field to home!!!
  7. Cassie...I am SO proud of you!!! I will have to see if I can find a copy of EW so I can read the article (again) and see your pretty face! Way to Go Cassie!!! :goodjob2: PatKay
  8. Oh yes, Kitty is QUITE the Queen of Smut over on gb.net!!! You MUST see her Over 18 vids...just be sure to have a cold shower handy! Hey Kitty, hold a spot in line for me ok! I will be sure to get some of "Red's Juice" so you don't dehydrate waiting in line!!! PatKay
  9. Swan...you are not the only one who is nutty for costumes! I LOVE to dress up! I am in theater, so it is in my blood! :: I love the idea of a Greek themed party! Toga...Toga!!! :laugh4: Btw...your goddess dress was beautiful! I have already bought my dress for the Ball. Since I do not sew, I searched the web for something and I found one! I just have to add a couple things to it and it will be ready to go! Even if I lose more weight before next June, this dress should fit just as well. For those of you wanting to lose weight before the convention, now is the time to decide if you want to get something that fits you now OR something that will fit a slimmer you in 2007??? There is still plenty of time before the convention to slim down! But why wait? Get started NOW!!! PatKay
  10. Wow Lisa...you and I sound alot alike! I too am an organizer, party planner, volunteer, etc. and stay up until the wee hours of the morning (like it is now)! :: I like your convention ideas too! I wanted to give you some friendly advice...do not rent a car in Vegas!!! I just came back from Vegas a couple weeks ago and if you have a car, you will spend more time on the road than you will at your destination! The Strip is exactly that...a strip of road with what seems like every car, cab, bus and any other motor vehicle in the state of Nevada driving on it! There is no 'getting around easily' in Vegas in a car! Also, parking your car is both a pain and from what I have been told, dangerous!!! I was told by a few locals that the parking lots of the hotels is where the 'bad guys" hang out looking to mug people because they figure everyone has money on them! So it is best to stay out of the hotel parking lots, especially at night! I found it is much easier (and safer) to hop in a cab, take a shuttle bus or walk to wherever I wanted to go. There is also the Vegas Monorail that, right now, will take you to a certain group of hotels/locations. They are working on expanding the monorail so it goes to all the hotels/locations on the Strip in the future. As I said, this is just friendly advice. I hope it helped. PatKay Pat, thanks for the awesome advice. Now, for sure, I WON'T be renting a car. It's good to know the public transportation is excellent. I'm a Scorpio too - do you think being a Scorpio means we have a built-in supercharged energy pack? Gerry is, after all, a mass of super energy too, yes? Becozy is a also one of us, and she has unlimited drive too. I'm not so sure she's a night owl though. Maybe we should work on stuff together!! Lisa Hey Lisa...I think you are right about the Scorpio/energy thing! My daughter is a Scorpio too and she is a bundle of energy too! I am lucky if I can keep up with her! I would be more than happy to work on something with you! Just let me know! See you in Vegas! PatKay
  11. Oh Baby, I am SO there!!! :headspin: I could not see this show when I was there in July! The hubby wasn't interested. So now I will get to see it the 'right' way with all my GAL PALS!!! :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: Side note: How much Bail Money should we plan to bring????
  12. SQUEEEEE...I cannot wait until Sept. 15th!!! I already bought my dress for the Masquerade Ball!!! I am SO ready to go back to Vegas (I was there in July)! I visited the Aladdin and saw the construction...it is going to be nice! I even won $200.00 gambling there! :goodjob2: I wish I could have attended this years convention, but I was going to Vegas the following month with the hubby for an anniversary vacation...couldn't afford Vegas two months in a row. So next year look out...I will be back in to see my GALS friends, POTO and !!! You never know??? :: PatKay

  14. I just finished reading Priest (vol. 2) and WOW...I cannot wait for Gerry to play Ivan Issacs!!! He may look alittle funky in a long white wig, but that's ok! As I was reading I was imagining Gerry saying the dialog and it works! Warning: it IS going to be bloody!!! So for those who are squimish, you may need to look away!!! This is going to be a good one...too bad we have to wait so long to see it!
  15. This may not talk about why no undies, but it does talk about why kilts are better than pants! :mrkilty: In terms of their design, trousers are considered "bifurcated" garments because they are divided into two sections, which cover each leg separately. The two sections meet at the crotch, where they are joined by a number of seams (usually an inseam from each trouser leg, plus seams from the front and back). All these seams and accompanying fabric converge at what is already the most crowded intersection in male anatomy. There - in the crotch - they confine, crowd, bind, chafe, and otherwise cut into the male genitalia. The trousers also chafe against the inner thighs and, depending on their tightness, restrict leg movement. In some cases, the confinement of trousers may cause a rash or even reduce a man's sperm count. Trousers are a relatively recent development. In earlier times, men were accustomed to wearing unbifurcated clothing - such as robes, togas, tunics, sarongs, and various kilt-like or skirt-like garments. These unbifurcated garments were not divided between the legs, and therefore they did not confine or cut into the crotch and male genitals. Therefore, they afforded men more freedom and comfort.
  16. Dearest Bethy... As I wipe the tears from my eyes...what a beautiful story...thank you for sharing! I remember reading your story when Gerry called you on Christmas and I cried then too! You have a way with words! I lost my mother several years ago, so I can totally relate to what you went through. It is amazing what this one man has done, just by being himself, that has brought happiness, hope and meaning to so many people. I do not think he even realizes it. He is a blessing from above! Thank you again for sharing your wonderful story! PatKay
  17. Congrats to all you LUCKY GALS!!! :Yippie: I KNEW I should have gone on this convention!!! :duh: I can't wait to hear the stories and see the pics!!! PatKay
  18. I agree with you...everyone is going to have their opinion about what they see in the pictures. Personally, I have never before discussed what Gerry does with women because, like I said, he is a grown man and he can do what he wants, with who he wants...it is not for me to judge...only to wish it were me!!! PatK
  19. From what I understand she is 46, married to an older Italian man and has 4 children!!! Her husband was very PO'd about the "flirting" that Gerry and her were doing in Ischia!!! :argue: I have studied the Papz pics from Ischia and you can clearly see SHE introduces herself to Gerry! Gerry did not pursue her! Then they are together that evening at the dinner and finally, the next day they are all cuddly-dudley on the chaise lounge! So what exactly DID happen that evening...inquiring minds want to know...but probably already can guess!!! Gerry is a grown man so he can do what he wants, but it is too bad when it is exposed in pictures!!! PatK
