  1. I've always wanted to learn this so I'd be one of the beginners. I am DEFIITELY interested in this! Please sign me up! I don't have a laptop so I hope that I can still participate. I do so admire all the great videos and would love to participate myself, but had no clue how to begin. Thanks a bunch for offering this great opportunity to those of us who are "computer challenged."
  2. Granted, I'd love it if he did come, as I'd love to see those eyes in person. OMG! But having been to all the conventions thusfar, I can tell you that meeting the other ladies is without a doubt a highlight in and of itself. I've made so many wonderful friends and it is always a blast to see them again. And I can't wait to meet some new friends in Vegas as well! I agree, if Gerry comes, then that's icing on the cake. If not, then we'll still have a blast!
  3. Dixiepixie and I will be rooming together at the Flamingo. Can't wait to see you ladies there!
  4. If it's not too late to sign up, I'm interested. I'd love to learn to make siggys. So please, sign me up!!
  5. Already sent in my contribution for this. I think it is a fabulous idea!!! I just wish we could see his face when he receives it, or a picture posted of Lolita in her little Fur-cedes! How cute would that be! Just counting the days until the convention!!!!
  6. My friend Debbie and I got in on the convention registration too late to get in on the POTO tickets, but we did purchase tickets on our own. We will be sitting in row A. Looking forward to sharing this experience with you guys!!! Can't wait for the convention!!!
  7. I am so in. What a cute idea!!!! I will try to have mine in the mail next week! That is adorable!!!
  8. I was just checking to see if I could find out a release date for Beowulf and Grendel and according to MrMovieTimes.com, the scheduled release date is JANUARY 1, 2006. Just thought you'd like to know what I found. I can't validate it for accuracy, but that's what I found anyway.
  9. Thanks Beanie! I knew I had heard a story about it, but couldn't remember what it was. It's that "sometimer's" or maybe just a blonde moment!
  10. My first thought would be to parrot that comment made by the Japanese interviewer who interviewed Gerry and Emmy about POTO and all the kissing that took place. After he talked to Emmy and turns to Gerry and says, "I want to know your lips". Sounds like a great opener to me. But in reality, I'd probably just stare into those gorgeous eyes and be dumbstruck! But if he happened to say something naughty to me, then all bets are off and so are the gloves! I can get just as naughty! (Wicked smile here)
  11. While we're on the subject of jewelry, anyone know the story behind the ring and bracelet he always wears? I know I read something about the ring a long time ago, but I can't remember. Thanks for your help. Just curious.
  12. Yeah, Beanie, I couldn't agree more! He CERTAINLY doesn't have to control those lips the first time he meets me! Snog away, Gerry!
  13. It took me forever to watch this movie, because it is not really my cup of tea, so to speak. However, I absolutely LOVE the part after the star wars spoof when Creedy is crouching on stage and smiles and winks at the little girl. Does that melt your heart or what? That smile could melt the polar ice cap! And even though I hate it that he dies, he dies as a hero to save the kids! How unselfish is that? I love that about his character (as well as his sense of humor).
  14. I love them all! For different reasons: Dracula -- because of his tortured soul and his compassion to Mary at the end. Not to mention sexy as hell in those tight black pants! Attila -- He is so sensual and vulnerable at times where women are concerned. Marek -- because he believes in a true, forever kind of love and is corageous enough to make his own history. Erik -- Because of his vulnerability and loneliness. You just want to cuddle up with him and say "I'll love you just as you are! I'm not that shallow!" Also, sexy as hell in those tight black pants from "Stranger than you Dreamt It" Terry Sheridan -- his wicked sense of humor and his willingness to go with the flow; i.e., "not what I had in mind, but okay". The Stranger -- because of his compassion to act as a surrogate father and not accept any money for it. And what a wonderful father he made! So I can't really "make a choice" I love them all!
  15. I agree with zanyzombie on this one. Only add to it one more symptom she doesn't have. Can't sleep more than four hours a night! But it's okay, I have my friends here to keep me company! And I certainly agree with the excessive drooling!
  16. About a month ago, I was leaving a restaurant near where I live. I pulled up at the stoplight and you know how you just look around out of boredom while you're sitting at a stoplight? Well, something drew my eyes to the car in front of me. The "vanity" plate on the car said 'MAREK 1". I nearly broke my neck to see who it was! Unfortunately, it wasn't HIM! My husband was watching a TV show last night and I was in the back of the house. All I heard was "Phantom" and I came running! Imagine my surprise when I got there and they were talking about a darn plane on the history channel! Go figure!
  17. I couldn't agree more with MishW. He seems so accessible and humble. He truly CARES about his fans and does his best to grant them them time for photos, hugs, and doesn't have that "I'm a star, so I'm God" attitude. He is truly a one-in-a-million man!
  18. I'd like to think I would be calm and rational (in my dreams) and be my usual "charming" self. (hee-hee). But I'd probably turn beet red, there'd be a huge puddle of drool at his feet and I'd combust into flames. Or, knowing the kind of klutz I can be under pressure, I'd probably trip, fall over something and land on his foot and break it. I don't really care if I ever get to say a word to him. I just want to see those beautiful eyes up close. And if he threw in a snog for good measure, so much the better. I prefer to communicate that way! Hear that Gerry?
  19. How about my husband's first born child???? (Just kidding). But for a proper snog (however, if I were doing it, somehow I don't think it would be proper -- improper would be more like it--hee-hee) let's just say, I'd probably be working for my job for free for the rest of my life! I'd stand in the hot sun for days on end without water or food (which is a big sacrifice if you knew me) for one snog from Gerry!
  20. Couldn't agree more stagewomanjen! OMG! The sexuality and sexual tension was so high there was electricity in the air. I don't think I breathed at all the first time I saw it. Although I did love Music of the Night and the slow seduction in that scene, the PONR is definitely one of the hottest scenes ever filmed fully clothed!
  21. Swansong, I do understand where you're coming from. I, too, am one of the older GALS who could definitely afford to lose some weight. I have been married 19 years to the same man and after this many years, the passion kind of wanes. However, since I discovered Gerry, I can also appreciate the increase in libido thing! That man just oozes sensuality! He has definitely made me feel young again! In fact, I spend my Saturday nights talking long distance to another Gerry fan and watching his movies together. I'll admit at first I felt a little foolish doing that, but found that I had a great time! We live nowhere close together and we share a lot of laughs, lusty comments, and just have a great time. However, I have not given up hope of ever meeting him. I am ever the optomist, and believe that someday I will. I missed a chance by not going to the St. Louis premiere (long story), but another chance will come. If not, then I still have the movies and photos to drool over! But if there is one important life lesson I've learned from watching his movies and and listening to interviews it is "DON'T EVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS!" Hope this helps.
  22. I would LOVE to see Burns made!!! I was so hoping he'd be there making it during the GB.net Scotland trip!!! Oh well... I did LOVE the "snogging booth idea" (where do I get in line and can we go through more than once?????) I don't mind a long wait, he'd be worth it!!! I also loved the idea of him selling the t-shirts after they are worn!!! You are a genuis!! Another thought -- maybe a US Burns Night Supper with Gerry as the guest speaker. He could charge a "so much per plate" for the dinner and then "so much per dance" with the GALS. I'm sure there would be a lot of takers for this one!!!
  23. There was one that was not posted on there that I noticed as I watched it for time 62 yesterday. When Raoul and Christine are on the roof and they first start singing to each other and he is leading her around the roof, she drops the rose she had been holding (the one given to her by the Phantom). When it lands, it is facing one way. When the Phantom comes out to start his song after they leave the roof, the rose is facing the other way. Check it out next time you watch! Just thought's I'd share. Also, Christine's missing hose when she gets out of bed right before staring with "I remember there was mist..." She had them on when she went to bed. A blunder? I wonder! Or were they "insinuating" something else?
