I recognized you, Swannie. So I came up to you and took a really beautiful picture of you because I always wanted to meet you. I recognized one or two others, but they were all too busy talking with others at their table and I didn't want to intrude. I think that next year there can come a moment during the first night, perhaps those who want to state who they are on the mic would help in putting a face to a name. Or maybe a sort of speed dating format where people get 60 seconds to state who they are, and why they love Gerry. Then just make their way down the row. I don't know, but it does seem hard to meet everyone, and not everyone "clicks" in person. It's much easier on the board... Paris.

I just want to that Perrin for her help in getting me into the convention. I had lost my badge and was looking everywhere for it, but couldn't find it. It was great meeting Sue and her daughter there, as well as Cassie and Swannie. There was also the nice lady that my husband and I met getting off of the elevator who MC'd the first nights event, her song was wonderful, as was all of the nights talent. I would have liked to have met more, perhaps next time. There were some other nice ladies at my table as well, sorry that I don't know your names. I had a great time and can't believe it's over, but I do look forward to becoming more of a gutter gal and dropping some pounds for next years con. Cheers! Paris.

In Hollywood, if your mother isn't in the Business, or your father, sister, or who ever, and you don't have a certain "tie" via family members or religion, then you are lucky to even take part in any movie or TV show at all. People sometime change their last names in order to conceal that the come from a long line of movie stars so people won't realize that its all in the family. Sometimes I look at singers or movies stars and ask myself how is it that they are in the business when they are straight out ugly and have no to talent. Then I realize that they are the child of someone. That's the Hollywood game that Gerard isn't a part of. This is why they make a difference in him because he IS different from them. He hasn't conformed to the way they want him to be, nor was he born into it. With 300 the powers that be HAD to take notice of Gerry, but they don't know what to do with him, LOL! Well, that's my take on it anyway. DON'T CHANGE GERRY, you are a breath of fresh air! Never surrender! Never retreat!

I'm just glad that Gerry got his award. It is a shame that 300 didn't win, but indeed, it is a cult classic now and will go down in history as the baddest asskicking movie of all time! I love this message board, it's so well managed! See ya'll in Vegas. Paris.

Perhaps you can get some idea's from where I'm taking my kids during our 4 night stay in Vegas... StarTrex Adventure at the Hilton, around $40 per person. The Dome at Circus Circus, not sure of the price. The moving statues at Ceaser's Palace (there are two sets, and it's free!) Any motion machine at Luxor, not sure of the price. And on the last day there in Vegas we will be staying at the Mandeley Bay because you freaking can't beat the POOL there. That hotel is the bomb! Adults can get a kick out of most of the above stuff. Plus, you might just want to rent a limo and roll down the Vegas Boulevard, perhaps you'll catch a glimps of movies stars... ...or drunk people falling down in the streets. Fun for all! Paris.

Trixie...I am glad you are wearing your "Jessica Rabbit" dress! I remember seeing pictures of you in it (if I am remembering the right one) and you looked HAWT in it!!! I too have been looking for a dress and found one I really liked but it was $450...YIKES!!! So I decided to wear what I wore in Colorado! I love that dress, it is greek styled and I don't have many occasions to wear it at so why not! I just took in my costume for Saturday to get some finishing touches on it. I can't wait to see it finished. Dawn...your dress is very pretty! I love halter dresses, they are very flattering to everyones figure! Paris...before you give up on the dress you bought...go back, put it on and dress yourself up like you are going out in it. Meaning, fix your hair, put on make up, dress shoes and jewelry. A fancy dress, no matter how pretty, can look awlful if your hair is a mess, you do not have any make up on and you are wearing white socks!!! Once you are fully dress, let your family see you in it! See if their opinion changes after seeing you totally dressed up! Also, see how YOU feel you look in the dress. If everyone, including you, agree with the first opinions, then the final decision is up to you! If you do decide not to wear it, then like Swannie said, just wear something nice that you feel good in and you will look great! A Gal needs to kinda be out of the "white socks" LOL, in order to really see what it will look like. I've got an apple shape body and any one that has type of body knows how incredibly hard it is to find clothes that balances your body out. The costume that I have is a red umpire dress. I've got big, flabby boobs that really don't fit into this dress...basically, I look bigger in it, though it is such a beautiful color. I want a greek dress! I'm off the the Galleria in Glendale... My first thought when I saw that picture was: "What in the f#$k is this???" Then I began to melt. I thought to myself "dang, look at how he held her at that moment." Well, I guess that I won't be wearing a costume after all. I brought one on-line that I thought was nice to wear. I tried it on the day it arrived at my apartment. My husband *the YES man* said that it looked nice. Today two of my kids, both the youngest and the oldest made fun of me. My oldest said that I looked like the school mascot, while the 6 year old said, "Mom, you look fat, if you were skinny you'd look pretty!" Nice kids, huh? Ok, yeah sure the 6 year old is autistic but it still hurt like hell. So getting another costume is out of my budget so close to "Fun Time," but that's OK. I'll just buy 3 drinks instead of 2. Hi everyone, I hate to rain on everyone's parade but these photos are from the vid that showed at imdb. The owner shared it for about 10 minutes, then people copied it without the permission of the owner and she removed it and requested that everyone NOT COPY it. I can't do anything about the site where those photos are, but I think GALS decided to respect that request. I hate to ask this, but would the original poster step in here and remove this link. I know this is something simple, but the owner was extremely nice, but firm that she didn't want this linked or posted around the net. She made a special request about this to the admins of Gals. Thanks Sancre ps.. edited to add... There was nothing nefarous about the video in case you are wondering. The owner of vid and her boyfriend were just out and about walking their pug when they met up with Gerry. The problem was that the owner is someone who works in the industry and I think was attached to the ps I love you crew or pr firm. She did not have Gerry's permission to post this and was a little naive in thinking that no one would try to copy it without her permission. As soon as she realized this, she removed the link and requested that no one copy it. There was a lot of hoopla at imdb about once shared.. etc. It showed up here and at most of the major websites and she requested that it be removed. In talking to her later, this was a hard lesson learned for her. Once again, we can't do anything about the photos at the link, but I think GALS told the lady they would honor her request. OK, now I get it. The link has been removed! Paris.
