  1. I should be listed as "DELUSIONAL"".........after sending a note to Esquire thanking them for the article and photos, they asked if they could use my note. I had a lovely email chat with them about the magazine and told them I enjoyed the "pie" article as well as Gerard's. They used the note, albeit an edited version, THANK GOODNESS! I do go overboard.. uhhh..."delusional"....when it comes to MR. BUTLER! I liked the chart and all the comments they made....they were blown away by the response to Gerard's issue, wanted to make a little fun of it and they succeeded. Why complain? Maybe they have a new respect for all of you and all you do.....and maybe they'll send Mr. Fussman to the next convention for a follow up! Esquire isn't my dad's magazine anymore......it's HIP, it's FUN, QUIRKY, and informative as well. Matt Damon isn't bad either....he's no Gerard but......who is??? Thanks, Donna
  2. I love this magazine ...don't know if I can find it here. I bought an issue in Nice last year that had a section on Gerard...it was heavy and I schlepped (sp) it all over France...(every ounce counts)....but it was worth it!! Maybe my San Diego friends from England can steer me in the right direction. About his comment on the eyes? ..........According to "Trina".....I thought he liked legs!!! Gotta love this guy....I think he loves all parts of ALLof US!!! Do have to remember..he probably never said any of anything to anybody!!! Fun reading anyway and THANKS!!
  3. Am I crazy?? I thought he was on the PSILY soundtrack........... ??? Somehow you would think he knew of him. Must be me...maybe I've lost it..again.... 'Poke of chips.'....gotta love it! You just have to love this fellow!!
  4. GREAT!!! Thanks for these........fun way to start the day. He is looking FABULOUS!!!!
  5. Just got back from Comic-Con......... what a show it is! Lionsgate has a great display with "Gamer" pictures and banners.... some interactive computer gadgetry...(I skipped the tatoo).......and some wild gals costumed as Amber is dressed in the film...they looked great! Gerard's face is everywhere! They were very generous with their give-aways.......but I fear they may run out long before Sunday, I'm glad I went early!! I got a LARGE "Gamer" poster along with 2 smaller versions....(they give you 3 posters rolled together......Gamer, Daybreakers, and From Paris With Love...) For all of you going...get there early!!!
  6. Great article........however the "mashed in face" comment ...wha??? Either I don't have a good memory of his face or she is way too critical!!! Don't pick on my kids or Gerard!!!! Other than that it was wonderful....... Wish I was one of his 100 friends.....hmmmm
  7. TUT will screen in San Diego at the Edwards Theater on Mira Mesa Blvd at 7:30 on Friday the 17th....got my tix from Fandango........ Should be lots of fun........ It is usually very crowded there on Friday nights ....so I'm going early!!!!! Hope to see some of you there...I'll be one of those with HUGE smiles....and breathing heavily............. hmmmmm
  8. You are VERY funny!! I have to wonder about all of us......I made so many trips to so many stores before I found my Esquire copies.....and now I'm remembering the magazine guy at Borders telling me that the "Total Film" issue for August is due on July 12.....I think it's the "G.B. the Charming Lothario" article.......so now I have to do this all over again???? Sometimes I think I've gone mad...........talk about brains...don't know what happened to mine...........
  9. I sent an email to Esquire thanking them and Mr. Fussman for the article. I added some comments re Gerard. They sent a very nice note back and said they will let Mr. Fussman know..... If you're up for it the address is: esquire@hearst.com
  10. I finally got past the Gerard article, (after many readings and licking of photos) and read the "Sexiest Piemaker"...... I thought it was great!!! Something for everyone in this issue, Gerard for the ladies and a pretty gal for the guys. Now if I can send of word of warning to Mr. Fussman......once Ms. Fussman watches POTO and all the other wonderful GB movies, you will lose her to our world!!! She'll NEVER be the same! She'll be begging you to accept Gerard's "you can use my cinema" invitation for a chance to meet him and see his really, really nice house!! One more thing....at the risk of being picky, as you listened to Gerard singing "Music of the Night" the word is SOAR not SO.... Great article anyway Mr. Fussman....wish you would write an article on the rest of the things that happened during your interview AND everything else you two talked about for 3 hours....PLEASE??? Now THAT would sell even more magazines........
  11. A friend called to give me a "heads-up".......caught the show just in time....it's short but good....typical Gerard.....flirting with the interviewer....we know how he is.......... some viewers won't get it..... He is just the best. I cannot believe this one was under the radar.....I count on all you "SMARTIES" to keep us on top!! Thanks for all you do.... it's going to get really busy out there for the next few weeks...................help!!!
  12. I'm so sorry....I do not have the computer skills to do those things..........I'm just lucky all of the rest of you do.......and THANK YOU so much! I've spent hours on this darn machine waiting for the tidbits and photos that all of you provide. I'll happily feed off your knowledge......(and download more photos to add to the 2500 I have on file)! You'll notice I have no fancy pictures ..uhhh ..siggies ?? Please forgive.......... Donna Call me and I'll read the whole article to you and who knows.....................maybe my hubby can scan when he gets home......dare I ask??? He'll wonder why I'm breathless and smiling!!!
  13. I just bought 3 copies at Walmart in San Diego......(on Murphy Cnyn. Rd. for SD gals)........It is unbelieveable!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! If I don't have a heart attack, I'm on my way to buy a frame for one of full-page pics.......... HE is sooo beautiful.........and article is fun reading as well......OH MY... I may need to call 911............. ps Borders/Barnes Noble etc. did not have it yet....I had checked there first, Hope you can find it........have fun, Donna
  14. Thanks for finding this.......IF true, I'm glad he is coming back to the US ........finally!!! I hope the part about drinking the river water is NOT true.......what was he thinking????? Maybe it is part of this "pilgrimage" and it would not be complete without it? Sure have missed the news and pictures that surround him when he is here.....know HE hasn't missed it however! Hurry home....Mr. Butler......
  15. OH MY!!!! How long do we have to wait for the film's release??? Sure hope the scene doesn't end up on the cutting room floor......hasn't he said something like.......uhhh.....he doesn't like to see himself nude on the screen? Maybe he'll make an exception and give us all a BIG treat ......just some icing on the cake....so to speak..... Love you Mr. Butler ...you're the best with or without clothes.......!!!
  16. Thanks! You GALS are the best. This is great.....too bad there wasn't a little more of Gerard....(never enough to suit me)! WOW he is something isn't he??
  17. My sentiments EXACTLY!! Saw it several times and thought it was great! Thanks for your comments....... why do they think we are so stupid?? Your voice is important...keep it up!!
  18. I felt very uncomfortable looking at these pictures. The dreaded term "voyeur" pops into mind....not quite THAT bad but sure felt like Mr. Butler's privacy was violated. Perhaps someone was using his home when he wasn't in town... I hope he asks to have them removed if they were taken without his permission. I'm always one that says "hey...this is show biz" and they know what to expect, however I sure don't feel good about this. I guess I sound like a goody two shoes........ Thanks for allowing me to voice my opinion..........
  19. Thanks for finding these videos! I was in the front row......( I thought I'd died and gone to heaven) and in response to SummerLass ...regarding the "mom" statement....I thought he said he liked older women.......!! It made me jump out of my chair.....since I am an older woman....and I think I stupidly shouted "there's hope for me".....duh.....(it's really hard to maintain self-control in HIS presence!). Since he's professed to liking we older gals before......... I'm sticking to my interpretation! He was perfect...oh those eyes and lips..... he was hilarious & always seemed a step ahead of the rest. He was flirty...winking at us many times, he blushed many times....oh that smile......he is very tan and seemed well rested. It was wonderful and I'm so happy it's on video....I can relive it all I want! I'm sorry the vids did not catch the end ...Jeremy started to take his shirt off and then someone reached for Gerard's shirt, I think it was Jeremy, ...you'll see photos of Gerard clutching the front of his shirt after a few buttons came undone....it was very funny..but happened very quickly. All in all it was a great day in Hall H....started with Keneau Reeves (sp?), "The Rock", Mark Wahlberg, Hugh Jackman, all of them were gorgeous, fun and entertaining but Gerard was still the best of all. It was worth getting in line at 5:00AM, getting inside at 10 then waiting until 5:30 until the panel started. Thanks again for finding these videos.......
  20. If you are coming to San Diego for ComicCon and are having trouble finding a room near the site, try to find a hotel close to a trolley stop. It runs from Santee..in the east county... all the way through Misssion Valley, Fashion Valley, Old Town, downtown etc. and has a stop in front of the convention center. There are many hotels just oustside the downtown area which are very close to trolley stops. Good luck......to all. If Gerard does show....keep fingers crossed that he'll be in Hall H again, as is 06, it is the huge one...most of the other rooms are much smaller and they fill up in a hurry. Didn't I read somewhere that the "Game" guys, those crazy writer/directors, are part of some "Web Masters" program at ComicCon? If so, I have the feeling they would be in a smaller hall. Hope this isn't repeat stuff...I haven't read ALL the posts
  21. Re: Comic-Con Please remember to pre-register on Wednesday night if you have a 4 day pass. If you don't you have to wait until doors open (at 9:00 or 10:00?) on whatever first day of your attendance, register and then get in line for your event/events. Last year the line on Saturday was sooooooo long by 9:00 it wrapped around the building and then some. In 2006 I had a one day ticket, registered on Saturday, got in line, saw Gerard and the '300' panel, without too much trouble...but I think that day changed Comic-Con forever!!!! Wonder why? Hah!! Hope he remembers the warm..(HOT) reception he received that day and will be convinced to attend this year..... If you come to San Diego I hope you enjoy my beautiful city and I hope it won't be as hot as the last 2 years!!
  22. Thanks again...even though these last two are so very sad.... I loved reading them.
  23. Oh my...watching these very thin young men modeling for Burberry makes a woman appreciate Mr. Butler's very appealing body even more......especially those thighs...not to mention...... better stop right now........
  24. Oh my...you ehhh..."ladies" are hilarious........and you, DonnaKat, always make me laugh!!! What fun.....sweeeet dreams tonight I can tell!! I just wonder what's up with Ms. Campbell.....odd they should both be at the same show........ of all the women in the world why does he pick her......IF...that's what it's all this is about!!!.... Someone will slap my hands for this I bet...... Keep me laughing gals, you're the best!! Thanks!
  25. Thank you, thank you, thank you.......ALL of you.......! I'm loving this..... all of you are so well read and intelligent! The library opens at 9:00 and I will be the first in line........hopefully I'll have lots of Robert Burns for summer reading!!!! Please keep this thread alive.....thanks again!!! Donna
