  8. There were gorgeous masks and I'm so tempted. Never know when you might find yourself at a Masquerade Ball!!! Thanks Holly
  9. Holly you've outdone yourself this year. Well done. Moira
  10. First of all well done Holly on getting Rev Sam to appear. Secondly Gals always has the virtual convention so anyone not able to attend can still feel part of the weekend and see all the main bits which will include Rev Sam's stuff. Moira
  11. Here is a link to the kilt story. A few clips have been released by BBC.
  12. I forgot about the postcard bit it was a great recording and like Theresa pointed out he did not make light or joke about the accident and it's obvious it's affected him. The funniest bit for me was him forgetting he had worn a kilt on red carpet. I really hope they keep it in because his realisation when Theresa and I jogged his memory was classic. I'm sure it was at that stage he makes a funny comment about us knowing better than him. He always jokes "did you not move to US" He did look horrified at the thought of Graham showing the Barbados pic. When they showed that gorgeous pic of him coming out the water in black shorts I think Graham asked where it was taken or when was that, Gerry didn't seem to know and looked our way and I said Hawaii. From Graham's expression and Gerry just laughing I quickly said "I wasn't there honest" - come on Gerry most of your fans because the pics are so great know when and where Graham did bring up the convention when he was asking all his guests about fans and turned to me to ask my name and a question. It was very funny and I only wish I had the chance to have elaborated the good things about it but Graham changed the subject. It will be very difficult for the editors to know what to cut out with it being a group interview opposed to individual. I just hope they keep everything related to the accident.
  13. From reading everything this was just a very unfortunate scary turn of events. It doesnt look like they were doing anything to put anybody in danger but I too hope it shocked them enough into realising how dangerous it is out there. Credit should be given to Gerry when worse case scenario arose he put into practice the survival techniques shown to him by the experts and thankfully came out without serious injury. I don't think we'll have to wait until "Of Men and Maverick's" PR Tour I'm sure we'll hear all about it on The Playing The Field PR Tour. I imagine if it was as scary as reported your life would flash before your eyes and you'd have an epiphany so I wouldn't be surprised to see some life changes in Gerry's life over the coming months after this.
  14. Are you talking about me Suzy?. It was at TIFF 2008. If you can get out to LA for one of his film premieres and tv appearances you have a decent chance of seeing him in flesh.
  15. http://www.accesshol.../_video_1373812 Gerard Butler chats with Access’ Shaun Robinson about announcing the 69th Annual Golden Globes nominations. Were there any surprises? Plus, what did he think of Sofia Vergara’s difficultly pronouncing some of the nominees’ names? Lastly, what does he think of Ricky Gervais coming back as the host? <object width="400" height="400" align="middle"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /> <param name="movie" value="http://widget.accesshollywood.com/singleclip/singleclip_v1.swf?CXNID=1000004.10035NXC&WID=482a0d55893fbe3f&clipID=1373812"/> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /> <param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /> <embed src="http://widget.accesshollywood.com/singleclip/singleclip_v1.swf?CXNID=1000004.10035NXC&WID=482a0d55893fbe3f&clipID=1373812" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="400" height="400" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="always" allowFullScreen="true" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed> </object>

  21. I agree Ralph chose some of the best actors for this film and knowing Gerry is not known for this style of work he very much held his own. Moira
  22. Seems like teachers have same problems in US as UK at finding positions. It's such a shame to do all that training and find you can't put it to good use. So happy things are looking up Moira
