  2. Cheryl, is that you? What's up? I know I fell waaay off the radar and totally missed Vegas and everything else for the past 1/2 year or more. Hope everything is great in your life, nancy

  3. Okay, I finally got here!! I tried to get on a couple weeks ago when everything got changed, but I couldn't. Now I finaly got to log on!! Whew!! I think I need to go to Vegas!! I got to talk to SUZIE a couple weeks ago and I just loved hearing her voice and it just really made me want to come and see all the girls again! (I haven't been since 2007!!) I really miss every one and all the crazy fun we have. Paisly: It seems you are the "official" Vegas cheerleader around here. (Yeah!) Since I'm not too "savy" to maneuver around the new site, can you send me, or post a direct link to the registration thread, as well as the hotel and room info? I'd really appreciate it!! I'll need a roommate, I just requst to room with someone I know. Thanks a bunch!! Nancy =0)
  4. HELP!! I have NO idea what happened to this site, but it is confusing, hard to read (TOO dark)/navigate, and I cannot find "MY CONTROLS"!! And I have personal messages to read. Please help.. Nancy
  5. Hi all, It's been a few weeks since I've been online. Don't know what's going on with everyone but I wish everyone well and happy. Lots of love, Nancy Um,...I think I was Butlerized and didn't even know it!! Attila, 2001!! Then Lara Croft Tomb Raider and TIMELINE. "Phantomised" Christmas Day 2004!! Yeah!!
  6. Maybe John Travolta's teaching him!!That rotater-cuff thing really hurts!! That is what I'm going thru now, well, since Sept and the therapy barely helps!
  7. Oh foo foo! It looks like the link is gone.
  8. Well, I guess everyone is watching the SuperBowl? Well, I'm not! I just got done watching the PuppyBowl...so cute!! Sue, How are you? I got to go back to the last SC floor and see some really cute pix of your two little guys. My goodness, they sure are adorable!! ANNA dear How are you? How's the elbow? Is there a cast now? Sorry I'm not there to make you a cup of tea and read to you. And do all your housework, and ... SUZIE & ELISSA: How's the weather down there in Texas? And FRANNIE, Are you snowed in? I keep seeing lots of snow on the East coast down to where you live. What's up? Well, I finally made it out to see the movie I had planned to see on Christmas Day..."Sherlock Holmes". It was great!! (Especially that Dr Watson!! ), I love that MAN!! But, yes, it was a good story and always loved Robert Downey Jr too! I really loved "The Young Victoria". "Me and Orson Wells" was interesting. But not a keeper, which means even tho Zac Ephron is in it, it's not the kind of film you'd want to buy and watch again. Okay, let me try this; Hello to CAT, Risa, Peggy, Jill, Katie, Delene, Aunt Em, Jenn, Holly, Barb, Dayna, Jenni, Annette, Diane, Cheryl, Sherrill, Susan, Suzanne, Isabeau, CASSIE, Tanya, Tracy, Debbie, Bethy, RamseyGirl, BeeJay, Musik, Somer, Wendy, and .... Okay I don't think I did as good as I wanted to. Okay, better go now. I wish you all a wonderful week!! NANCY
  9. Absolutely, but let's not forget those legs, those thighs... T PINK ones?!! I missed the PINK ones?!! C'mon, somebody re-post those. please...
  10. Hi Ladies, Sue, Anna, Amber... SUZIE and ELISSA; Congratulations!! I wondered what lucky gal got SCOTTY!! I'm so happy to know he will have such a good, loving home. Once again, I'm using the large print for ANNA. Hope everyone's good. What day is it? I keep asking myself that. Amber; Did you take any pics of the canyon in Winter? Please post them if you did. I'd love to see them, I can just imagine how beautiful it was. Debbie, I also gave myself a day off during the week. I just really need a vacation but since my boss doesn't give us any PTO (paid time off), I can't really take one like I used to in past jobs. Exhausted again...still anemic. And still hurting from the work injury from late summer. (Blah, blah, blah!!) SUE, had to giggle, I think you could train BONNIE to use the toilet. I saw either a dog or a cat do that just the other day!! I got to spend a day with my Grandfather and my Auntie...met for lunch then drove together to my cousin's home. She has three little girls which I have finally met for the first time, and the oldest one is six!! Very cute little girls. My cousin has just started what looks to be a very successful home business...she makes those big fancy chocolate dipped strawberries for special occassions. She let me bring three home and I was amazed that the berries were so tasty for this time of year. Usually they aren't good till June!! What a crazy day at the Animal Hospital today, and last weekend, lots of piggies and goats! And a rabbit amongst all the dogs and a cat. Today I got home and realised I smelled like puppies and goats!! There's a puppy at work that I would like to own. She is nine weeks old and for sale. The girl I work with just let her little Cavalier King Charles have her first litter and it was just one pup. I took pictures of her last week the first time I got to see her, and then lied awake all night thinking of what I'd name her and if I could really do it. Well, I know I cannot do it, so it'll be sad to let her know...she really wanted me to have her. She's Tri-color and so pretty. My other friend at work has Shih Tzus and one is due ANY day!! She has told me for months that she will just give me one...!! She stopped in today with two of her little Shih Tzu girls, and we did an ultra sound on the little mama...this is her first litter, in fact, her "MOM" said this is when she lost her viginity and she's over two years old!! (What a good girl, she waited!!) It looks like 5 babies, so that will be fun!! I don't even know what's up with Ger these days...SUZIE mentioned his arms, and I just thought, "oh, I missed it!" I never saw GAMER so I'm looking forward to renting it. I'm looking forward to the Golden Globes and hope we'll see Gerry there. Well, must go now...need to balance my check book. (Fun.) And hit the sheets!! HAPPY SUNDAY everyone!! XO Nancy
  11. Hi to all, and best wishes for a great 2010!! HaPpY NeW YeAr!!!
  12. Oh my goodness SUE! (I think you are crazy!!) Haha!! Actually, they say it's good to have a second dog...so they can keep each other company, and they also say when you get a second dog it's best to get one of the opposite sex. I think it's cute that they have the same mom. Step brother and sister. We had a really cut little thing in this week. Her name is MINNIE, after Minnie the Mouse...and she is just barely bigger than a mouse!! She is a black chihuahua with tan underneath, 8 weeks old, and weighing in at only 1.1 pound!! She was so teeny-tiny and so sweet! Her owner is only 8 years old and it was so sweet of him to let me hold her. Her little heart was beating so fast and she was trembling, but she quickly calmed down. And then the Dr calls me to his office...this is the "monster" I work for. He is so mean. Sorry. Another especially cute little guy was in yesterday for his Neuter, and he was the funniest little thing. A Yorkie mix. They said a M'orkie, (Maltese/Yorkie, but I don't think so)...not with those ears!! He had HUGE ears, and they stood up, like a Corgi, (or a Donkey!!) And would you believe when he got excited and wagged his tail, his ears actually flapped back & forth like an elephant. It was hilarious and adorable. Everyone loved him. He was very sweet and friendly. DIANE, I'm sorry about the blizzard. I think it would be pretty frightening. Why does the power go off? From the wind, or just the freezing cold temperatures?? That would not be fun, like BEX said...no power for a week!! Too cold!! How do you guys do it? Be careful. I just got off the phone with my sis, and the latest news on my G'ma is that she was moved into a long-term care home indefinetly. It seems my G'pa is really having a hard time with all of this. It's like he is in denial and not accepting just how bad things are for her health-wise. I feel like at age 86 she won't recover. I mean, it's like she's had a very long and blessed life and she's 86. I don't see why she'd have to go thru anymore suffering. I lost my mother, (her daughter) at only 56 years old. So she's lived to be 30 years older than her own daughter. I don't know...it's just very hard for my Grandpa. ANNA, are you up yet? Are you going to Church? I imagine it must be quite a classic Christmas scene: a darling English village-town, clean snow freshly fallen, and a little church with a steeple for a Christmas service. Oh, I would like to have a Christmas like that someday! And I'd like to stop by DUNHOLM COTTAGE for tea and mince-meat pies!! Give those two little darlings a big hug from me! Goodnite for now, Love Nancy
  13. ANNA, I was just clicking on the picture of the teapot thinking 'I would love to have a teapot that looks like a Christmas pudding!"' And then I clicked on it to get a better look, and saw it was a tea cozy!! I don't suppose you made it? If you did, I want one!! Too cute.Awh, ANNA that is such a sweet sentiment and we do all need it. Now, I don't want anyone to feel bad, but ANNA says it's snowing and I guess there's alot of snow on our East Coast, but I gotta tell ya...In Southern California it's 80 degrees!!! Yesterday and today, I'm driving around with my air-conditioning on and I LOVE it!! I don't know what to tell you, but it is a little odd for December. Kind of freaky!! Hugs and prayers to FRANNIE, Sue, and others. SUE, I am so happy to see you here posting and all...I can just imagine all the memories you are encountering all through the day. Have fun with your boys next week!! ANNA, one of these days I will get a puppy!! I thought that today I'd get to see some brand new Pom puppies! Just before we closed the vet clinic, we had a call from a new client with a Pomeranian in labor and she'd had a C-section before so the owner said she'd have to have another one for this litter. So we got permission from the boss Dr to stay longer, (at the office he does not work at. It was just me and the Dr and a Vet tech.) ANd we waited an hour and a half and the client never showed up!! And then never called back to say what had happened. I was so disappointed. I wanted to stay and help even if I was off the clock, but after 90 minutes, the boss Dr made us close up and leave. It's too bad cuz, it's the weekend and the after hours urgent care clinic are VERY expensive. I'm bummed. Well, better go for now. I'm exhausted after my third 6 day work week in a row!! I was so looking forward to today off, but got called in at 7am. No limos runs cuz the business is really slow. Must get alot of Christmas stuff together and wrapped for a gathering tomorrow. My sis in laws' family celebrates Christmas day on the Sunday before C'mas. They started this about 3 years ago. And I've been invited this year, so tomorrow is the big day! It's a long drive....(I already put 50 miles on my car today from my drive to work), and tomorrow will be about 50 miles away. And then I'll be driving to my brothers 45 miles away on Christmas Eve, but thank goodness I do love driving...(most of the time!) Just wish gas didn't cost so much!! Can you believe that $2.93 a gallon sounds cheap? FRANNIE: You had a BIRTHDAY? Where was I?? I hope it was HAppY HAppY HAppy!!! Love you!! Love to all, Nancy
  14. Hi ladies, just popping in to check on everyone, but now I must be off to bed. More doggies and kittie's to see tomorrow!! That little Corgi puppy came in again, (for her 2nd set of shots), and she just has the cutest little short chubby legs ever!! We also had a lady with two new puppies just a couple months old and they are brother and sister, but he looks like a black Maltese/Coca-poo and she looks like a very tiny, scaggly Yorkie mix. The parents are a mix of Longhaired Doxi with Yorkie, and I'm not sure what else. Anyways, the owner said she liked the boy better, and I was like, "Oh, don't let her hear you say that". The Dr had me help him hold the little girl while he took her temperature, and I feel so bad for the extra little pups because, well...everything is so little!! So I just held her face and kept talking to her and rubbing her ears, and when I saw those little brown eyes looking up at me that was it, I just melted. She was so sweet! I couldn't believe the owner was telling me they only really wanted the boy...I had to tell her that the girl was my favorite. I need to see if I can send photos from my cell phone to my email and then post them here. Oh, didn't I say I was going to bed??? Goodnight!! P.S. ANNA, Yes, I did open my present...no one is around to stop me and make me wait till Christmas...
  15. Just checking in tonight. I must say hello to TANYA since I have not "officially" met her yet! HI TANYA!! ANNA, what's up with "injections into your fingers"? Are we talking about Cortizone injections? My Rheumatologist wants to give me them in my fingers for the arthritis pain. OUCH!! Also, ANNA, I think your little handmade Nativity sounds sweet. That poor donkey, just think about what he went thru. How far he traveled, and carrying all the weight, etc. I'm sure his back leg must've lasted just long enough to get to the Inn. The news today about my Grandmother is better. But she has been in intensive dare for 10 days now. If they think she's good enough to be released, she will have to go to a care home. We have to just take it one day at a time now. Thanks for the kind words TANYA. (I know what you mean). Goodnight for now. Nancy xoxo
  16. Hi girls!! Looks like everyone's here, how fun!! Sue, how sweet of your friend to do such a wonderful thing for you...a Memory spot for Dan in your garden...that is the sweetest thing. Love the pix of miss "Bonnie"...How old is she now? She looks like a good little size. Oh, about your knee pain...I got my first Cortizone shot about 2-3 weeks ago and it was fine...everyone said it was gonna hurt, but it didn't. (My dr's name is Dr Sunshine, do you believe it? So maybe that has something to do with it, but he made sure it wouldn't hurt). It does kind of ache for a bit later that night and maybe the next day...like a cramped muscle ache, but it's been great to be pain free, (at least in that area!). Makes me wish I could get a shot all over!! Be careful driving in the snow Amanda!! That would be too stressful for me. Just the heavy downpour of rain this morning made the back end of my car abruptly swere to the right twice!! Swannie...I just don't see you as a Long-John's sort of gal!! Suzie...When's the garage sale??? I LOVE stuffed animals. Oh no, I forgot "You've Got Mail" was gonna be on and now I missed it...It's the end part where he comes to her apartment and she has a cold and then he meets her in the park, oh no, where are my tissues!! Hi Jill, Hi Judy, Hi to CAT and MEl, & Diane, Cheryl, Peggy, Frannie, Amiee, Bex...etc, etc, etc!! And Lots of LoVE to ANNA over the sea. Must get downstairs and eat something...Yes, it's very late for dinner, but I had to catch up with my sis on the phone and I think it was TWO hours!! Our Grandmother is 86 and has something like Alzheimer's for 18 months. She does not even know me, but last weekend she fell and broke the top edge of her femur. They did surgery, put a steel pin in, but she's really not doing good. With all the calls I got today, I will be amazed if she's still with us tomorrow. It's hard, but I know it's her time to go, I'm just feeling very sad for my Grandfather. Well, would love to get to bed now, but I really am hungry. I think I could use some of Suzie's chocolates!! Goodnite all, Happy SUNDAY!! Love, Nancy
  17. Hi Girlies , Love all the Christmas siggies!! All you siggy piggy gals are so talented!! We have had the cutest puppies ever! in the vet office this week. Boy and girl Mini Fox Terriers on Monday, then a most adorable little Corgi girl, (Pembroke Corgi, no tail) yesterday...(I wanted to take her home), And then today, some sweet little thing..a terrier mix. The owner wasn't sure, so I am looking forward to seeing her as she grows up. She was so soft and sweet, and warm. Tan carmel with white on her paws, and a white fluffy chest, and dark brown on her ears...and perfect little white teeth. She was so cute! I wanted her. And then, we had one of our fave clients stop in , and discovered he has moved his family away to Washington state, with all six dogs. But he was down here for the Eukanuba Dog Show in Long Beach...with his newest dogs...1 yr old male and female Tibetan Mastiffs. It was so much fun to see them. They were so beautiful and friendly...well, not overly friendly. Theydidn't growl or act like they were going to bite my hand off, so that makes them friendly to me. But wow, they were amazing!! He said he was going to stop in and bring me tickets for the show! I hope so!! Oops, it's 10 o'clock...my bedtime. Love to all, Nancy
  18. After being online here, I think I need to go to Church too!! I love your little Christmas poem. Oh ANNA, tonight was the final episode of the BBC Robin Hood series...and yes, they killed that handsome, sexy "villian" of ours. But, he did get to become "good" for the last couple of episodes. What really got me was RH himself....I was NOT expecting that!! But they didn't follow the real story anyways, right? I always loved Robin Hood, beginning with Errol Flynn when I was a very little girl. It was my favorite movie...till I saw Camelot. But, actually, Robin Hood has a happier ending than Camelot. Camelot is too melancholy for me these days. Too much saddness and regret. Tomorrow is Sunday, so I wish everyone a wonderful, beautiful day!! Nancy P.S. Is someone going to make me a Christmas siggy, or will I have to put Zac Efron back up?? I guess Autumn is over. I think we missed it here in SO Cal. We went from 100 degrees in October to these very cool mornings and downright chilly nights. I shivered all day at home today.
  19. ANNA, Everytime you say "300 Zoom", I get all excited! But, isn't that what you call it when you're watching "300" and you "zoom" in on Gerry's moonlit scene????? Awh, I'm sorry, maybe that's not nice. I do try to make my font bigger so it's easier for you to read. Hi Peggy!! I just had to back track on some posts and I saw you there!
  20. Hey Debbie, Was that gorgeous blonde boy there? What is he's name?....(and his phone number?)
  21. Now Nancy, I was thinking about Mr. Pinky (Gerry's tongue)...I don't know WHAT you're thinking (you bad girl)! I wasn't even going to touch "Mr Pinky" , um...uh....I mean... Did somebody say CHOCOLATE? ANNA, I would LOVE to hear Toby sing all those Christmas songs. I like that photo of Butler. And to CASSIE...The Mother of the Year: SUZIE, and Cassie, Hope you are feeling better soon. Sorry about the snow, but you know, we had 80 degrees on Thanksgiving day!! I better get outta here now... XONancy
  22. Wow, what a nice rooftop terrace. I love the view---> I'm sorry, but, POPPY has got the BEST GERRY Christmas siggy!! To this day, those GERRY pix in that black shirt from the Dear Frankie press conference are my favorites!! Hugs to CAT and MEL...MEL did you say 8 Degrees??? Whoa! That is COLD!! FRANNIE, How's PEGGY doing? Well, I think it's "official": SUE is NOT a vanilla girl judging by that new CHOCOLATE siggy!! I hope I don't get corrupted being here. 'Night all. But good morning to ANNA and the other Gals in England, Scotland, the Netherlands... Nancy
