My Beautiful Sweet Frannie, I have had sooo much trouble getting in here to see and wish you all my love and sympathy for your devastating loss.....You know how i feel about you and if you don't i don't believe you don't...Frannie I have loved and admired your work soooo much through the few years i have been privleged to know you...you always seem to know what is in my heart and very un-selfishly give it to me......you always know what i want to see of our Gerry and to me that means you feel that person's love....well...feel it now again Frannie...I love you and i am so sorry for this happening to a very special woman that soooo does not deserve this....i pray that your beautiful son is knowing that you are in so much pain for him and that he looking down on you with love for his Mum and is smiling because he is happy in so many ways because so many people are showing you their love not only for you but for him as well...... Sweet Frannie, I am sorry to, finally, hear about your illness. I will put you in my prayers again right away. I was making orns for everyone until the wee snowpeople took off like hotcakes at my girl friends job. So now I have a few orders for some already, so on the plane to PS I will be crotcheting wee hats and scarves for them. Your beautiful artwork, siggy's and wallpapers, are still as awesome as ever. I have kept all mine and every so often I look at them and marvel how, not only the art work, but how well you portrayed him for me. You're still the bomb Babe!! I hate that I have missed sooooooooooo much goodies!! I promise to be more attentive this year. I miss my GALS but thanks to Kathy and Sue, I have been in touch as much as possible. Lots of 'stuff' been happening this year. But I will make sure I am here more often after I finish the 'Gerry II' statue for Gerry himself. School was a mess this past semester due to a fire in the glass blowing room and all gas and acetylene was not able to be used. Also no bronzing. 'Gerry II' is almost ready to be prepped for bronzing. I will finish him in Palm Springs this next few months. I had hoped to be closer to Sue in Redding,CA, when I got to PS, but no luck, still too far away! 'Course she could come to be by me in the warmth and bring a bunch of GALS with her; hint, hint, hint!!! I would love that. I will be in PS for at least four months. I'd consider coming to the convention being that close but my daughter is getting married on the 2nd of June to her fiance' of 7 years. No money for a wedding so they have had to put it off. If something happens and the wedding doesn't get to happen, again!, I will see if I can go to the convention and just stay anywhere I can. I just want to meet my GALS and have some Gerry fun. We'll see what happens. Gotta go to bed. Still cleaning my room out for a wee bit of re-decoration by my daughter and her friend while I am gone. YAYYYYYYYY!!!!!! I am finally able to get on my computer without being kicked off!!!!! I have been gone toooooooooo long!!! But the computer lady just was able to come over last night and get me fixed up!!! I have soooo missed my GALS and my special friends. I wanted to cry my eyes out!! I am also going to have Kathy post some wedding pics for me of my fabulous Grand Baby and her awesome man!! I am so proud of my Frannie and our Dragonslayer as well. I am sure that soon you will have some more intense competion with my Kathy getting in there with her awesome talent as well. You GALS are so awesomely talented. I am sooooo proud to be one of you. I especially want to say how gorgeous the siggy is that says "Gerry moves me" so apropo for me as well as a few thousand women as well. The man does things to me that should and are probably illegal. I am soooo glad I have loved Gerry for so long and so much! He is more than worth the time. And it's never, ever an effort!!! That beautiful face with that to-die-for smile just makes me go weak in the knees! And he still gives me goose bumps when I see him and listen to that adorable voice. Welllllll, I want to go on record by syaing that I'm 'verra' sorry, but I do not think Robert Patinson is in anyway sexy or even cute. But I am an Elizabeth Taylor fan from way back and I go along with her thoughts on men. And personally I am totally in love with this gorgeous, handsome and incredibly wonderful man and no matter who they stick in front of him, he will always be number one in my book forever!! It's been a while since I have been here but I am so trying to keep busy and I would be missing all the wonderful news if it weren't for my Kathy. But I have a chance to be here for a moment and I want to say how wonderful the comments are about our Gerry. He truly is a fantastically humble man. I am sure his Mum has a lot to do with that, but still he is that kind of man inside himself anyway!! I love that part of him now as much as I did when I first saw him as Archie. He appeared even then as a real person, not full of himself now that he got a wonderful part in a movie with some really awesome names. He was then a Human man and he is even now more Human!! Gerry gets better and better as he ages. More handsome and more adorable and more awesome and actor. But I have loved him close on to 14 years and I have never stopped loving the beautiful, wonderful person he is. Gerry is so good for so many people and he doesn't even know it!!! OMGERRY, OMGERRY, OMGERRY....... I just saw my new siggy!!!!!! Thank you Sue for posting him for me. I am so inept when it comes to the new site...I totally need to get on here more and practice. Hi Everybody, Well, I am trying to get into school, but I may not be able to this semester as the fire in the glass blowing room has made everything a mess. Not the fire per se, but the gas lines need to be replaced and the fire marshall has said that no braising or bronzing can be done this next YEAR!!!!!!! So I may not be able to get into class this semester. They are limiting Independent Study Students because of room. I'm still trying, but I can always finish 'Gerry' 2 next fall!!! It's only four weeks 'til Dana and Jose' get married. I am already in tears. I miss my babies sooooooo much. They moved into their own apartment in July and I have been so lonely sometimes I cry a wee bit!! But I am soooo proud of them. They are paying for this wedding pretty much all on their own. So we are all going to get together and give them money for their wedding gift from us in the family!!! I will take lots of pics so I can share my happiness and pride with you all. Well, just wanted to say HI and let you al know I have started ornaments already and this year I have a new idea!! I am making one for Kathy right now and if it turns out well, I'll ask her to put a pic on line and if anyone wants one to let me know and they will get a verra special price of a verra special man!!! WOW...... I took time before I had to start getting ready for school and sat and read all the awesome posts from all these awesome GALS about the Polar Bear's experience with our G-Man. Yes, I am in total agreement about what an incredible man Gerry is. He is all I ever dreamed he was and more. How can one man be so incredibly wonderful in so many ways is a testament to the handiwork of an awesome Lord. That Gerry is one gorgeously incredible man in all ways. No wonder he stole my heart so long ago. Thank You all for all the wonderful comments that filled my heart with such happiness. I am so glad I TOOK the time to sit and read each and every one of the posts. I can't do that verra often anymore. Our Gerry is an incredible man and I still love him as I always have and even more than I ever thought possible. I hope for Polar Bear that Gerry does come for a dinner someday...he certainly deserves it. Gerry is a super sweetheart of a guy!!! Gerry makes people feel good and he inspires them. He inspires me to make beautiful art work and give of myself more. I have made some baby blankets and donated them to the local hospitals and am thinking about making some blankets and sending them to shelters for abused women and their families, especially for the children. I am going to be living in Palm Springs for a few months after the new year and will be doing afghans for the time I am there. So, I will have baby afghans and child sized afghans to donate to any place that may want them. Gerry makes me feel like I can do something to help anyone that needs the help. The man is an inspiration on two feet!!! And OMGerry, what feet!!! The man is the most beautiful man I have had the pleasure to watch and love in forever!!!! Just a few thoughts from my heart...... Thanks for the update for this ol' lady!! I am sooooo far behind on 'stuff', I feel like I am a catcher in the out out field with the sun in my eyes and no sun glasses!!!!!!! I am also looking forward to this movie collaboration as well. Gerry loves doing movies that make people laugh, and he is so day--am cute when he does comedy. BUT.....I love him in any movie he makes, so I am not a one to choose any specific movie for him. I want to see him in all and any movie he can get his gorgeous hands on!!! AOG Joanna

Hi POLAR BEAR!, "COOL" Name!!! Had a 'wee' problem last night with a bit of health....almost better now. But am feeling well enough to post myself today. I truly Thank my Beautiful "Sis" of my heart for posting for me last night and truly thankful to her for her understanding. I am also thankful the Lord has helped me feel soooo much better today so I can Thank you Polar Bear for your integrity. It must be hard to be so silent about such and extraordinary experience and that you have that strength is so commendable. I give you kudos. Yes, Gerry is an incredibly awesome man. He is all I ever dreamed he would be and so much more. When I saw him in 1998 as Archie Brown, I fell head over heels in love with this adorable man with the dazzling smile that totally took my heart away!!! Am still falling and will most likely never stop!! Gerry amazes me constantly with his ability to be so kind and funny and giving and his wonderful love of life and everyone in it!! Sorry to say May, that I was so blown away by the wee hop he made, I didn't notice the look in his gorgeous eyes. A big, gorgeous 6'2", built man doing a hop was so totally adorable, I missed the look. I'll notice it when I get my DVD. That man still thrills me after almost fourteen years, He gets better and better as he ages...or as Kathy said, "he is well seasoned" or words to that effect. If I didn't get them 'pairfect', Kathy will forgive me. But that is so cute and soooo true. The man is incredibly awesome. I couldn't be prouder if he were my own son!! Love Ya G-Man, FOREVER!! Hey Anybody, I tried to copy the transcript for my teacher to see and read about our Gerry that he thanked us for his convention and that we raised the money for a charity and it won't print out! I wanted my teacher to get to read how wonderful our Gerry is and how he took time out from Scotland to tell us how proud he is and how he is matching funds raised. As the statue raised a wee bit of money, I want my teacher and my friends that helped soooo much to make 'Gerry' a reality to get to read how grateful Gerry is for what the GALS did. How can I get a copy to take to school when I go back on the 24th? Jo

Dear G-Man, I am so happy to get a chance to say Thank You for matching the monies garnered by the wonderful GALS at the convention. I am more than honored to have played a wee part in the fund gathering even though I was unable to attend. Bum 'pegs' and lack of funds make "trippin'" where I want to go, a no-no at this time. Sommeday though, someday!!!!But these wonderful GALS made it a wonderful time for all and Reno was a scream. What a nioe man and the wonderful things he said about you made me feel so good. I KNOW the GALS worked so hard to have this convention and maybe in the far-flung future, you will once again be able to attend and have some fun as well. I want to thank you all for the beautiful comments on my statue of this incredible man of ours. It took a long time and a lot of owies and yet I loved every minute of making him. I am working on one for Gerry himself that will also be in bronze and set in marble as well. Hoping to get that done and out by the end of the year as a gift for Gerry. My way of thanking him for being him!!! It also celebrates fourteen years in 2011 of total love and loyalty to my first and only ever movie star crush. Gerry has been worth every minute of time I have watched him and loved him. He is a spectacular man in all ways. I am soooo glad Susan got 'Gerry' as I know she will love and adore him as much as I loved and adored making him. Hey Everybody...........I'mmmmm back!!! Finally got some down time for myself right now and am using it to visit my GALS!!! Was hoping to see a few photos of 'Gerry' especially with Susan standing with him as she won the auction. I am soooooo happy 'Gerry' has found a nice new home to live in forever. I do miss him, but I am happy he is with someone else that I know will love him as I loved making him. Ger4ry's statue for himself is on it's way to becoming a bronze figure in November and will be mailed to where ever I am told he will receive this statue. My way of Thanking him for being such an awesome man as well as actor. I love seeing the GALS and getting to put faces with names. We sure have a lot of beautiful GALS. I am praying that I get to come next year for the sixth convention. We'll see when the knees will get done and that will determine my ability to travel. I have been thinking about a project for next years convention and I can't think of anything that doesn't require Gerry's participation. Doing his hands was a suggestion from Susan~ but I would need the man himself for the molding of his awesome hands as I can't seem to find any one that has hands any where near how Gerry's look!! And that would require a plaster molding of his beautiful hands. And no way in God's holy world could I ever get Gerry out here to Elgin IL. to the college to mold his gorgeous hands in plaster. Hey Stuart, I have been trying to get logged in and it keeps saying I am already signed up and yet I still can't get in!! Why does this always happen to me??? LOL, LOL, LOL!!! I can hardly believe it!!!! The convention is already here! I e-mailed Susan~ for directions in mailing 'Gerry' for the auction but have not heard yet where to mail him. Susan is soooooooo busy that I can wait. I am so happy for all that can go. Even if I could have gone this year, I would have had to back out!! My precious Grand Daughter Dana and her Jose' are having a co-ed wedding shower on the same day!! I HAVE to be there. I was there when she was born and by the good Lord in heaven, I will be there when she gets married. She graduated on the 21st from College. Welding being her chosen field and with honors. She had to do all classes just to get a degree in welding. But with HONORS...I am verra proud!!! Jose' graduated as well with a degree in auto mechanics, he also graduated with honors. We are so proud of him as well. He is an awesome guy!! Anyway, you GALS that are lucky enough to go, have a great time and I hope 'Gerry' will be there to be bid on for the charity, "Kid's Kicking Cancer. I am totally jealous. But maybe next year and........ next year, I just might be in Palm Springs, CA and not too far from you.
