  1. Hi jenn,

Thank You for the update of Gerry's new movie. I am so excited about all His movies. I am slowly collecting His movies as I can afford them. My first movie with Gerry was the Mrs. Brown movie and when I watched Gerry talk I totaly fell in love with the Man. That was in 1996, and my love for Him has grown as He grows. I only know He gets better as He gets older. The Man is the most awesome actor I have had the pleasure to watch because of His ability to put His feeling across and make you, the watcher feel the pain, anguish, happiness, love, anything He does. Real feelings are a hard thing to portray and Gerry does it exceptionally well. I only this summer received my own computer and went right on to find out more about Him. My kids think I'm obsessed, Yep!!! I am!!!! Gerry has such carisma and intelligence and love for His acting and for us, He is Awesome!!! Can you tell how much I love this Beautiful Man. Thank you for sharing this update with us.

  2. I'm a grown woman with a life and a large family, 5 mostly children. Sometimes I worry about them a lot, some more than others, and some days more than others. Gerry has an uplifting effect on me! I just think Gerry is a very special actor. It's fun to get news and photos.. I admire him greatly. But he doesn't have to be perfect........are any of us?

Thank You so much for the great comments about Our Man. He deserves what he has worked so hard to achieve. Just let's pray He doesn't work Himself to death. And I agree, He looks great no matter the weight. He deserves to eat a little after all he went through for 300. Just not too much!!! His appeal is his fabulous physique as well as his awewsome accent and Human personality". I love the way he looked in Attila as much or more than 300. But, Gerry is such a Beautiful Man all around, that I don't care about his weight. He can retire in my room and talk to me forever if no one wants him because of His weight. And, believe me, I will take good care of Him 'till I die!!! Joanna

    :whome2:

I totally agree with you. I like him unconditionally. I think he's a wonderful person and a great actor. All positives for me. I love seeing photos of him. :tasty:
  3. Hi All,

Saw pictures of Our Man in L.A. OMG, He is always awesome to look at, but He looks so tired, you can see it in his eyes. And He looks so strained. I know He is working so hard, but Dear God, don't let Him have a collapse. We need Him for Our Man to love and admire. I have been loving Him more and more for 11 years and it would kill me if I thought that He would have a collapse from over work! I will pray that He gets some rest soon. Thank You to all that get these picture for Us. I truly Love you for it.

  4. Good Morning to All the beautiful Gerry Fans!!!! I saw a statement that some one thought that River Phoenix was the guy that gave Indy the Fedora. It was River Phoenix that played young Indy and the Fedora was given to him by Richard Young. To make sure, I went and rented the movie "Last Crusade". But, I agree, Gerry would have made an Awesome Indy Jr. Jr.!!! But we have to keep pushing. We could get him for other similar movies. He needs to show more of that awesome body. I said in one fan letter that they show lots of female skin, but what about us gals that are not interested in female skin!!!. I want to see more of the King Leonidas type of skin and "clothes???" Yeow!!! And what happened to hair on a man's chest? My grandbaby says that it's not the style today and that guys shave it off!!! No, No, NO!!! That's not right!!! She says that she heard the saying "Grass doesn't grow on a busy playground", I say " not if it is well tended!!!" Hair, not too much, like Gerry' s or Pierce Brosnan or that new guy Alex O'Loughlin, that's enough. And it's sexy!!! (to me and alot of gals I know).

Bye for now, anyone can write anytime, I will answer asap. Love to All You Gerry Fans, Joanna

  5. Hi All,

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of your support since we first introduced Wrath of Gods.

All of you, Gerry's fans, have played such an important role in the success of the film. To date the

documentary has been screened at eight festivals and honored to receive four awards. There are a few

more festivals on the horizon. it has been great to meet the fans who have attended the screenings.

I also appreciate all the great feedback and comments on the DVD. Orders are still arriving and we

are working hard to ensure that they arrive safely and on time. Sales have been good. Out of the

original 1000 DVDs ordered, there are less than 80 disks left.

Fans make a huge difference and as I always say, Gerry's fans are the best!

Your continued support means a lot.

    The best,

    Jon

Nothing like a nice thank you is there!!!!!!

    Hi Jon,

I am new to the computer and sometimes I screw up. So if I don't put this in correct, please forgive me. But I agree so much with you about the Fans making the difference, and I try to tell everyone that Gerry will get to us when He can. I Thank God everyday that Gerry is making more movies for Us to see. And I have suggested that if help is needed for sending out mailings for Our Man, I would be happy to help, as I am retired and only go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.(I'm in a sculpture class.) Not much homework but what I get I am able to do fast. So, with time on my hands and acess to a computer, I can help alot. Could you tell me how I can get the awesome pictures of Gerry on the left side of My screen and although I am proud to be dubbed Archie's Ocean Gal, I would still like to have the recurring pictures of Him since He started out in films. I only received a computer this past couple of months and am still learning to use it. Which is why I have never been able to join Gerry's fan club before. Or started one in 1996!!!! when I saw Him in Mrs. Brown, running through the Ocean with Billy Connelly and as I watched Him talk and His ability to portray His feelings so well. I knew here was a new Leading Man coming up. I never knew it would be so high! He gets better with age and more handsome as He matures, but that accent and that beautiful quirk he has to his mouth when he talks, Dear God, I'm too old to feel this way about a Man I will never meet. But there it is, I do!!!!!

Sorry to go on so, but it feels good to tell someone else that understands what I feel. Keep up the good work and Thanks to All that give us fans a place to talk about Our Man.

Joanna P.S. What is the "Wrath of the Gods" about?? If Gerry's in it I want to know how to order it. Joanna

  6. "GerrStraction!!"= Talking about Gerry and completely getting distracted from what you were doing. I am including my GerrStraction story from Vegas.

This is not my post and I don't know what I did to get my name on it. But I apologize profusely for what I did wrong. I am still pretty new at this computer gig. I'm learning!!!! Just give me time. Again, I'm sorry. Joanna

As some of you know, I am new to GALS but got really lucky to be able to go to Vegas to the convention. I also brought along my beautiful daughter (BeWitched Samantha). To quote her “The Phantom BeWitched me but Gerry ensnared me!” We were on our way to the dinner, Friday night. She asked me “what is it about Gerry that you and SO many women are attracted to?” Mind you, we had JUST pulled out of our hotel. Not being familiar with Vegas, I did not realize we were going the WRONG WAY! As I tried to explain to her, my feelings and other’s, by telling her how he is BEAUTIFUL, both inside and out,(and OMG! what WONDERFUL HANDS!), what a WONDEROUS voice he has, how he is kind, unassuming, a superb actor, has eyes you can get lost in, inspiration to MANY to achieve their dreams, just to name a few of his attributes, I managed to drive to BFE east Vegas. We were so deep in conversation it didn’t dawn on either of us until we hit terrain that was totally unrecognizable. Big dirt lots on the side of a 2 lane highway! We got SO hysterical about the whole incident, I almost wet myself laughing …as the tears were streaming down our faces, we turned around then had to retrace our route. We finally did make it to dinner but as I recall, we were probably the last 2 to show.

    Part 2 of "GerrStraction"

God believe me, yes, there IS another “GerrStraction” incident!

After Gerry’s visit to us, I had to go back to the hotel and get my raffle tickets ….. had gotten "GerrStracted" and left them in the room. I was on my way down the escalator and was joined by another FaNmily member, please forgive, I don’t know your name, who was on her way upstairs to get her raffle tickets. We were "GerrStractedly" gushing over the fact that Gerry had REALLY shown up and we walked almost out the huge double glass doors when she realized, she had completely missed turning in the right direction to go to her room. I tried, by pointing back the way we had come, to help her get her bearings. It gave me MUCH pleasure to know, I am not the ONLY one who has "GerrStraction" syndrome!

  7. HOLY SPARTANS!! Man, Gerry seriously can do ANY look!!

    W-O-W....!!

Does that picture remind anyone else of the guy from Indiana Jones and the Last

Crusade, who in the beginning flashback digs up the jeweled cross and

    gives Indiana his hat?

    ~Mel

Mel, I agree with you and I wish I could remember who that guy was. I used to have that movie, but as with many other items of mine, it got lost when I lost my house and now I have to get it in DVD. But right now, I am busy collecting Gerry's movies. My daughter says that Gerry doesn't look like a "Gerry", it seems too informal for such a handsome man. I agree, and since I call Him Our Man, I can let everyone else call Him what they want. I also agree with someone else on our website, that He can pull off almost any look and still be the most gorgeous hunk of Manhood on the Planet. am so glad that he is sooooo busy, but I would love to know that hew would be at the convention next summer and if I could save enough and also rent a "scooter' to get around with, I'd love to come. I'll try to check in on it.

Talk at ya later. Loving Our Man forever, Joanna

  8. Hi nance,

I have an e-mail that you responded to my comment about the Gerryisims. I "LOVED" them. I have not had my computer for a week and just got it back an hour ago. I got right on and looked for Our beautiful Gerry. I have been posted as" Archie's Ocean Gal". I' m so excited to be a part of this group. I'm sorry I never had a computer before this or I would have joined in '97 when I first saw Gerry as Archie in Mrs. Brown. His accent and that cute way His mouth goes to the left when He talks. It captured me for ever. After that movie I kept looking for more movies with Him in them and trying to find out about Him, but it seemed that no one heard of Him yet. Oh well, now everybody has heard of Him and now I will never hear from Him. But as the song by Roy Orbison goes," Whenever I want You , I just dream You". That's what I will continue to do. He is my dream Man.

Thanks for letting me talk about Our Man. Joanna

  9. Betts, Thanks for the info. I'm sorry that it "appears" that as Gerry gets more famous, that we may all be forgotten. He has to know that there are those of us here in the good ole' USA that would be glad to filter mail and answer letters for Him and save the ones that He really needs to see. The ones that are general, a form letter could be dictated by him and copied out with His signature and sent on. I"m retired and I would Love to do that for Him. I know He is as busy as hell, thank God, but someone in His group of helpers could put out an e-mail to ask for support from us Fans. I don't want Him to lose fans because He is busy. I want Him to stay busy. The public is fickle, and there are so many awesome looking guys coming into thier own as well as Gerry. I myself will always Love Him as I have for almost 11 years. That will not change. But I am worried He will lose touch to the point that we will no longer be important. He is my First and only Movie Star "Crush", and He will always be. Let's hope that since he is so busy that when He gets through with the movies He is making right now, that He will have time to read some of His fan mail and get back with Us who Love Him so much.

Thanks Betts for reading and writing back. It is much appreciated. Joanna

  11. Yum Yum Yummy!!! Thanks Chelle you rock !! Btw...I agree he does look a little bit "bulked up" and IIIIIIIIIIII luv it! I am guessing he'll be losing some of that preparing for his roll in Games! Dosen't matter to me I'll take him either way ...snuggly or s-n-u-g-g-l-y! :D

    :claphands: Fran

Forgive my manners Mary L but the G man does that to me. Makes me lose track of other things happening around me.... *sigh* *Thud* Anyway...WELCOME!

    Hi ladyfran,

I was reading your cute note about our Gerry. Yes, the man looks awesome no matter what his weight. I think what I love about him is his "human" side. The looks are an extra wonderful part of him. I could listen to him talk for hours and never get bored. I mostly like to watch his mouth when he talks, it relaxes me and makes me wish that I could see him some day and just talk. I'm not stupid and I know this is in the realm of "impossibl dreams"! But, it would be great. I am new at this computer gig, so I don't have pics of Our Man, but since this is an old computer and about to be re-built for me, I am going to have Gerrry pics for my screen saver and my computer guy is going to teach me how to do "stuff".

    Loving You All, Joanna

  12. Hi GALS,

I just read all the Gerryisms and found that someone remembered us older GALS! Thank you so much. I have a guestion that is making me worried. My friend just called me and told me that the ornaments that I made for Gerry and His Mum(for Gerry's Birthday and for his Mum for Christmas) will never get to him personnally. That they are given away to charities. And also, that the letter I write to him will also not get to him, even when he is resting between movies. Is this true? I know he is very busy, thank God, but I had hoped that he would someday get to read his own mail. Even if it isn't for a year. But the ornaments I hand made have his name and his Mum's on them and they are not meant for anyone else. If he will never get to even see them, then I will do something else with them. Please let me know if this is true. I know he gets a lot of gifts and he could never keep them all. But I have no money to take trips and see him in person and can only buy one movie at a time, as I am on disability and can only afford them that way. This was the only way I could tell him how much I love Him and His work and also to thank his wonderful Mum for giving us Him.

Please GALS let me know if this is indeed true!

Thanking You ahead of time for the help,

    Joanna
