  1. Could you possibly either post a link to the blog you mentioned? Or PM it to me? I cannot seem to find it and was curious to read it. Seumus
  2. The thing hanging out of Gerry's pocket is the strap for his Film Fest admission badge. I saw a few of them earlier this afternoon. "Gone With The Wind on mescaline" is putting it mildly, as I can attest from personal experience. I live in Hinesville, outside the gates of Fort Stewart, just 35 miles away. Eliza, JB MacRover, and I all spent the afternoon walking around downtown Savannah today. We hung out for a few minutes in front of the Lucas Theatre and the Trustees Theatre (which are the two venues for the screenings), in hopes of catching a glimpse of the big man himself, but no luck. We did have some fun walking around the "Pac-Man" squares (anyone who has tried driving around downtown Savannah knows what I'm talking about!) and taking pictures of some of the sights. We'll be going back to Savannah on Thursday (as previously planned) to visit some of the other cool things Savannah has to offer. As for living here being an advantage in hearing about these appearances? Fat Chance!!! We're 30 minutes away, and had to find out about it on the net today, TWO days after the fact! Seumus
  3. Well, I'll be dressing up again this year as something special. Bet no one can guess what, though.
  4. I don't know if anyone has posted about these yet, but we just found a bunch of stuff on the RocknRolla UK site. There's a CNN story about Guy's London, a video story shot of Guy taking them around his parts of London and talking about all the changes. Possible Spoiler Warning: there is a lot of discussion of who did what in scenes shot in certain locales. I stopped watching when I realized, so as to avoid any spoilers, so I cannot say whether or not there are any real spoilers. There's also some really great stuff from the UK Premiere, totally spoiler-free, I promise. Here's a link to the site: RocknRolla
  5. I loved that he couldn't even talk about the 300 prequel/sequel stuff without cracking up! Also, that wink/tongue thing when talking about what is a RocknRolla was absolutely hysterical! Thanks for a great find, Whitney!
  6. To me, there is absolutely no question that this reporter was hostile. It sounded to me like she wanted an assassination article, but just couldn't get anything for it from Gerry, so she decided to ridicule what she could and damn-with-faint-praise what she couldn't. Despite being well-written, with vivid descriptive imagery, the article was trash, IMHO. Seumus
  7. That was such a wonderful interview! Thank you so much for posting it, Swannie!
  8. Hello, Meghan. Welcome to GALS!

  9. Well, it is the Daily Record -- you are so right. To quote Gerry, "I HATE the Scottish press!"
  10. All this red ticket, blue ticket stuff has me confuzzled. Does this include the pre-con raffle (the one for the banner and Hillary's t-shirt)?
  11. How does Eliza get in contact with Annette for this?
  12. Well, Eliza made it to Vegas ok. If anyone wants to contact her, PM me for her room number. Also, when does the hospitality suite open? Where is it?
  13. It's a freeware program called MP4ToMP3Converter. I found it by Googling for "MP3 Converter". It was intended to convert MP4 (Itunes) files into MP3 format, but if you click the "all files and folders" button, it'll turn any audio or video format into an MP3 audio file.
  14. After that last post I just wrote, why is this the song running through my head? "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" 15. Your lemon cake recipe has me jonesing for a cake my mom taught me how to make about 20 years ago, and I still make it (FAR too often for my waistline, LOL!). It's probably one of her simplest recipes. 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix (MUST be pudding-in-the-mix variety, I use Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge) 3 eggs 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 (15-20 oz.) can Cherry Pie Filling 1 can Chocolate Fudge Frosting Preheat oven to temp listed on cake mix (if memory serves, it's 350 degrees). Beat eggs with electric mixer on low, then beat in oil. Add dry cake mix and beat on medium for 2 minutes. Stir (DO NOT USE MIXER) in can of cherry pie filling until well mixed. Pour into greased 9X13 cake pan and bake until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool, then frost top of cake. Enjoy!
  16. Thanks to Isaboo, I now have an edited version of the file that trims the beginning off. It now starts at the first strum of the guitar. Download Here
  17. Well, someone finally put the video of the couch singing scene up, so here's an mp3 of it. Click Here. Unfortunately, the video begins at the start of the scene, when Holly awakens in bed, so there's about 10 seconds of silence before the singing starts. Therefore, while a nice bit of Gerry singing, it's not very suitable as a ringtone.
  18. I've got the program to turn any video clip into an mp3, but I don't have one to create the video clip to use. So far, I haven't found any clips out there that just have that scene. All of them have some other stuff jammed in there, too. If you find it, I can convert it in about 5 seconds flat, but I need the video source file to do it with.
  19. The clencher is -Does Eliza also wear black socks with tennis shoes?? Nope, never done that one. What she fails to mention is that she never wears tennis shoes, at all. She only wears flip-flops, heels, and boots.
  20. Eliza and I are actually laughing about the hat. She got a new toque (stocking cap-style hat) from Grim, a little while later, Gerry shows up in a stocking cap. Now, she gets a new fedora, a week later, Gerry shows up in a fedora. What's that all about, huh, Gerry?
  21. Hey, y'all! Eliza had wanted Gerry singing Galway Girl for her ringtone on her cell, so I converted the video clip of that scene into an .mp3 file for her. If anyone else would like the audio file, PM me with an email addy and I'll email it to you. Apparently, I cannot upload an audio file to Photobucket, only pics and vids. If anyone knows a better way (or site) to make the file available, please let me know. ETA: File is now available on RapidShare (thanks for the tip Barb!). For the link, Click Here.
  22. I know... I'm still wiping the tears from laughing so hard. After seeing that large and scary Irn-Bru cuckoo, I don't think I'll ever have the courage to ever try one! The one I found truly frightening was the Diet Irn-Bru with "Raoul"!
  23. From FoxNews.com's PopTarts column. Click Here For Original Story What 'Business' Does Gerard Butler Have With Orlando Bloom's Girlfriend? Victoria's Secret's newest "Angel" Miranda Kerr celebrated the launch the fragrance "Kiss" at Eva Longoria's Hollywood restaurant Beso (Spanish for "kiss") last week. But seeing as though her A-list beau Orlando Bloom was a no-show, the stunning supermodel seemed content in doing "business" with Gerard Butler instead. Butler clearly took a friendly liking to Miss Miranda (along with every male in the building), cornering her for a private conversation several times throughout the evening. "We're talking business," a very spirited Butler told us later. "I have a project in mind for her." However, the "P.S I Love You" star was out of luck as Kerr refused to even pose for a picture with him. The leggy lingerie lass acted like a pro dodging the flood of flashes, and every time she spotted a lens looming in their direction, she was quick to tap Gerry's shoulder so he turned away and nobody could get a straight shot. "Miranda knows what the press is like and how things get fabricated," a Kerr buddy explained. "She doesn't need anything that could potentially damage things with Orlando." Funny enough, it was that very same venue just a few weeks ago that triggered the rumor about a romance between Bloom and Jennifer Aniston — and that all started because Jen wanted to sit beside her longtime friend and pose with him in some pictures. After all, they have the same manager, so (naturally) they have things in common to talk about. But it seems like Orlando's failure to show up to support his girlfriend (who was hosting the star-studded soiree) is very much in keeping with Victoria's Secret tradition. "It's like Gisele and Leo all over again," groaned an insider who has been involved with the Angels for several years. "He never came to Gisele's events and she too made us ban questions about him." Well, we can hardly blame the girls for wanting to keep a few things private, seeing as though so much of their bodies are, er, exposed.
  24. Ok, as far as I can tell, the cat knocks the coat off where it was hanging. She finds some Polaroids (presumably of naked women) in the coat pocket. Believing her hubby is cheating on her, she throws a fit & shreds the coat. Hubby and his buddy come home, they discover it was the buddy's look-alike coat, and his pics, not hubby's.
