  1. Happy Birthday Gerry from all of us in Alabama. Our waves are not as large as Maverick but we love surfing just the same. Hope your day is blessed with love, joy and lots of laughter! Pandora
  2. trying to make myself go to sleep!

  3. I just got home from seeing Law Abiding Citizen and it is GREAT! So suspenseful all the way until the end. And the nude scene ain't bad either!
  4. Saw Gamer last night and thought it was very action packed! Definitely not for kids because of some sexual body part scenes but Gerry did a great job.
  5. Please tell every dog or cat owner you know. Even if you don't have a pet, please pass this to those who do. Over the weekend the doting owner of two young lab mixes purchased Cocoa Mulch from Target to use in their garden. They loved the way it smelled and it was advertised to keep cats away from their garden. Their dog Calypso decided that the mulch smelled good enough to eat and devoured a large helping. She vomited a few times which was typical when she eats something new but wasn't acting lethargic in any way. The next day, Mom woke up and took Calypso out for her morning walk . Half way through the walk, she had a seizure and died instantly. Although the mulch had NO warnings printed on the label, upon further investigation on the company's website, this product is HIGHLY toxic to dogs and cats. Cocoa Mulch is manufactured by Hershey's, and they claim that 'It is true that studies have shown that 50% of the dogs that eat Cocoa Mulch can suffer physical harm to a variety of degrees (depending on each individual dog). However, 98% of all dogs won't eat it.' This Snopes site gives the following information: http://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/cocoamulch.asp Cocoa Mulch, which is sold by Home Depot, Foreman's Garden Supply and other Garden supply stores, contains a lethal ingredient called ' Theobromine'. It is lethal to dogs and cats. It smells like chocolate and it really attracts dogs. They will ingest this stuff and die. Several deaths already occurred in the last 2-3 weeks. Theobromine is in all chocolate, especially dark or baker's chocolate which is toxic to dogs. Cocoa bean shells contain potentially toxic quantities of theobromine, a xanthine compound similar in effects to caffeine and theophylline. A dog that ingested a lethal quantity of garden mulch made from cacao bean shells developed severe convulsions and died 17 hours later. Analysis of the stomach contents and the ingested cacao bean shells revealed the presence of lethal amounts of theobromine.

  7. thank you for the heads up. Watched it last night. This looks like it is going to be such a good movie. Can not wait for it to come out
  8. I love listening to his interviews. He has such fun with them. He never is really serious and laughs through them all which makes them all so fun to listen to
  9. Just wanted to post to say I still love all of you! Job has been alittle hectic but my great new news is that I have started college! After being out of high school for 32 years and never having attended college because my parents could not afford to send me (and back then student loans, grants and scholarships were not that readily available) I decided to take the plunge and get my degree in business. It certainly has been challenging because there is so much to read and pay attention to. What I will do with my degree once I get it, who knows but atleast I can hold it up in the air and say I DID IT. So if I'm not on the forum all the time it is because I have a pencil stuck in my ear trying to figure out all this other stuff!
  10. they would be great on a project together! I think the chemistry would be something else
