  1. Hi Irish, yes I've met him several times...at the filming on Long Island for the Bounty Hunter, at the Bounty Hunter Premier, at Playing For Keeps premier and he's been an absolute doll each time. At the Bounty Hunter filming, he stayed around to sign autographs and take pics with the fans. At Playing for Keeps,he sent his assistant to invite every one in to see the film. Most times it's impossible to get tickets to a premier. I have never heard any thing negative said about him and he does go out of his way to be nice. Hi Stuart, I had been to Scotland this past summer and really wante
  2. Yesterday in the rain and wind, we stood for hours inside and out of the Lincoln Square AMC theater in New York, watching the red carpet tent go up, talk to the crew and wander around the theater which has multiple flights and theaters within the building. IMAX on the 4th. floor for example. One of the new came over to us and spoke about "what a nice guy Gerry was" having worked on the set up at the Ziegfeld Theater for "The Bounty Hunter. " The premier Gerry's Gods of Egypt was to take place there later in the evening. Barricades were up, lines on the other side were there for VIP pick up

  6. That is one great interview! After seeing the movie last night, I can see how well Gerry learned to fulfill the shoes of Mike Banning. The best part was him kicking butt of the terrorists. Everyone in the theater clapped and howled! The rest of the actors are all amazing.....you just have to pray that it never happens in the real world and it's only a movie you are watching!
  7. Kathleen T. and I have just returned from a screening of OHF....this is a powerful film in that it shows we can be vulnerable to an attack on our most treasured places such as the White House. The movie is fast paced and it's not often that you hear cheers and clapping from the audience but they went wild especially when Gerry got the villain! He kicks some serious butt here. I'd like to have him watching my back any time and even tho it's "pretend" he'd make a fine White House F. B. I. agent protecting our president. As we left the theater, they handed out OHF pins to everyone, earlier th
  8. gerry is a perfect purveyor for peace because his heart is in every charity he helps
  9. George is interesting. He's been a player, but he's not a dog. He's a good man, just a bit lost. He's never really grown up, but he's never tried to hurt anybody. It's a lesson in life about second chances and forgiveness and the sacrifices we make to become deeper individuals. (Quote from Gerry} Does this sound a little bit like some one we know? Being on the fan line for 12 hours, you get to talk to a lot of interesting people besides the new fans you meet. There was not a one person, aide, security, etc. who had a bad thing to say about Gerry. Everyone said he's a sweet person and a re

  13. Taken from Wekipedia....how the waves came to be named In early March 1961, three surfers, Alex Matienzo, Jim Thompson, and Dick Knottmeyer, decided to try the distant waves off Pillar Point. With them was a white-haired German Shepherd named Maverick, owned by a roommate of Matienzo. Maverick was used to swimming out with his owner, or with Matienzo, while they were out surfing. The trio left Maverick on shore but he swam out and caught up with them. Finding the conditions too unsafe for the dog, Matienzo paddled back and tied Maverick to the car bumper before rejoining the others. The r

  15. Do you mean my banner "Fatal Attraction"; I made it up after seeing his movie as Chuck in the desert; up close and personal with that Camel...He even mentioned it in an interview with a lady once..when she asked him what character he would like to play next..."I'm up for anything now" he answers; then declares "Heck I even f**ked a camel once!" Have seen that camel also...I'd rather he played himself or the desert rat.But thought your banner was great
