Yes Melodie, sadly we have lost some of our beautiful GALS and for a lot of us personal friends. Not all the long ago we lost Barbara (Lugerry). She had been ill for quite awhile. Your siggy reminds me of another loss...sweet Lolita is gone. I switched over to a MAC about a decade ago and lost all my siggy making software which I used on my old windows computer ... I know Gerry.... Just this week I had my 3 year anniversary from my last cancer treatment. I spent almost a year in chemotherapy, external radiation and internal radiation which was damn rough but I figure 2 more years and I'll be able to say that I survived that bullet. Not much else is new....I mean other than I think I'm on the verge, after the past two years of living in the twilight zone, to say I have agoraphobia! I put off everything until I absolutely have to go somewhere and than I try to get everything done in one day so I don't have to go out for another few weeks. Not sure if it's from anxiety or just sheer laziness because I've gotten so used to hanging out in my lounge pants and tops, with no makeup...lol. So really nice to see someone in our old comfortable lounge room (and this is what I miss so much on facebook! Our Gerry GIFS!) hugs, Sue

Hello Melodie!! I remember you! I'm sorry to hear of your problems over the years but I'm certainly glad your here! Yeah, I was the last one to leave a message in here and that was a long time ago. I even left that lovely sexy graphic hoping to AWAKEN some but no luck. I'm afraid most of the GALS left this forum for Facebook. Maybe one day things will change and more will come home!!! Barbara (Lu) was the life of the party... she will be missed. But the last few years had been so hard on her and she was so sick ... I'm just glad she is no longer suffering. No more pain, no more tears...Rest in Peace Lu. Barb, Lu never failed to mention how much she loved you and how one of the best things she ever did was drive up to your house right after joining GALS to a party at your house. She said you made her feel so welcome. I made this siggy for Barbara way back when in honor of her meeting Gerry in Philly. I will miss her phone calls.

Dear Lord, I lift up Barbara to You, the One who created her, sustained her and knows every part of her physical body, her thoughts and her fears. I ask that You would give her Your comfort which only You can give. Give her Your supernatural peace and the courage and strength to endure her upcoming surgeries. Pour Your grace on her and give wisdom to the operating team, guide the surgeon's hands and bring Barbara not only through the surgeries but feeling much better because of the surgeries. Libby was a GALSister and Mod and she will live forever in my mind and heart! She had such a sweet way about her. At the first convention I didn't know many GALS and Libby was one of the GALS that made me feel so welcome. I had no idea .... recently she sent me a message to lift my spirit while I going through my trial and I just wish I had known that would be our last contact. I wish we were all as close as we once were...always coming here to support each other, to share our joys and sorrows....maybe Libby, by your leaving us that will happen Rest in peace my friend. love and hugs, Sue
