Dawn Posted September 30, 2005 Report Share Posted September 30, 2005 Hey all, it really is quiet huh? I admit to being more absent than present yesterday, and survivor was partly to blame. Happily today wasn't a FTB day, although I still hurt (don't tell but I'm walking kind of funny) and I still have this headache, I'm going for a record, longest headache in recorded history. I went to work in a good mood today, and kept it all day...things there have been HORRIBLE, for some inexplicable reason 80% of the folks are cranky and do nothing but whinge and moan all day. I hate when people transfer their problems, leave it...y'all know what I mean. There's this one loud, obnoxious incredibly irritating guy (he's fairly new) who is loud and selfish. I'm tired of listening to him complain, so today I was walking my horse down the shed and when I passed a friend I quipped "Garnet, I haven't got ANYTHING to complain about, gimme a suggestion quick!!!" and he says "the price of gas" So off I go down the shed, at the top of my lungs "#^%@^ Gas, so %*^*( expensive I can't even go visit my $%^&%*^* friends" It made me feel better, and lightened the mood. On a postive note, I've been quite amused by my horses, it's cooling off now, and they're wearing their blankets. The cute part, they're Tartan blankets, so they look like a bunch of Scots, quite apropos considering my obsession. Beanie, chat will cheer you up!!! Lyn (phantasy) brought along her Marek doll and we had lots of fun putting him into poses and taking pictures of him...he even got to cut the cake! I will post some pics when I can find the cable linking the camera to the computer. I had a wonderful day, but my love goes out to those girls who didn't Bethy, yay 40c and a kick up the arse for the boss! But good news, Mr Beanie got his new truck today -- a Honda Ridgeline. He is soooo excited. I am going to eat lunch and take a nap. (I know, pitiful, eh?) We are going up to our Vacation house in the mountains this weekend+ (till Tuesday night) for our annual family (my 'extended' family) vacation... Mum and Dad, Aunties and uncles from Schenectedy, and Sisters and families all come up this time of year for a week of relaxation, leaf peeping, County Fair fun, and outlet mall shopping. The guys all go fishing and bike riding. I will be trying to take it easy. (LOL) I'll still be able to check in here every once in a while on dialup. I say started because we are going to be moving a little everyday for the next month, because we have so much to get rid of. Well today while we were at the new apartment, my Mom collapsed and fell down because her legs gave out. I was so scared, because I was not strong enough to lift her. I'm so happy that the new place is only 5 minutes away from her brother (my uncle) so I called him and he came over and helped her to the car so I could drive us home to our place. I don't have my license yet, but I am a pretty good driver, so before my permit runs out, I'll have to get my license. Anyway, the house is a wreck since we are throwing everything out. I am a wreck myself, but then I check my PMs and see my bracelet video all done and it looks mighty sex-say!! Thanks sofie!! She'll put it up for everyone to see - soon. My obsession with Gerry's bracelet (actually, bracelets, because there are 2 silver ones, but it's all the same to me) is now on a smoking video! And when I say smoking I mean it..because the pics are so hot they are bursting into flames..LITERALLY! And there are 4 pics of Gerry and I together.. *evil smile* I love it!
