Scorpio613
forgive my ignorance, but what prequel are we talking about? Oh and forgive my laziness as I probably could probably figure it out myself. Oh ans SIN I'm planning on MT but not POTO too. Dawn...we are talking about the new Untouchables: Capone Rising. We are hoping they will film at least part of the movie here in Chicago and we are hoping they will be filming at the time of our MT/POTO gathering! If so, we will have to plan a visit to the set location if we can for that weekend! I am glad to hear you will still be joining us for MT! We always have a great time there! If you like to dress up, some of us dress up in Medieval attire when we go there! Just something to keep in mind!

Cassie...a lady with a mouth full of food and greasy hands...what more can a Knight ask for??? Please do join us for MT! Trixie is handling MT this year and will be posting something soon. Dawn...I love the Ren Faire! I used to go up to King Richard's Faire in Wisc. almost every year. But have not gone in a long time. I hope to make it up there this year because my kids are really interested in going now. We can only hope they start filming Capone that early! With all the movies Gerry has on his plate it is hard to know which one he will be filming next. Edited June 22, 2007 by Scorpio613

stacie-in-nebraska
Afternoon everyone! Sorry I've been MIA lately, had a bug of some kind since Thursday and finally managed to get online to see what I've missed. Glad to hear there are so many going to MT this year. It sounds like it is going to be a blast and a first for me since I've never been to it before. And that would be too cool if they were filming at the same time as our get-together! Hope everyone is doing great and talk with you soon!

June 27th adult $15.95 child $8.00 here is the website RenFair That's right, it is called The Bristol Ren. Faire now! That tells you how long it has been since I have been there! I would love to go as a group to the Ren. Faire! I just watched Excalibur last night (one of my Favorite movies), so I am REALLY up for a Ren. Faire now! Dawn, since you live in Wisc., it would be easiest for you to organize a GALS get together there! However, you might want to plan the get together for sometime in August. Since several of us just got back from Vegas (you included), alot of us need at least a month to recover financially. Also, a few GMCL's will be in Scotland at the end of July and I myself am committed to a play the first 3 weeks of July. I know August is very hot, but it seems to be the only time available to much of the GMCL group. Just something to keep in mind. What's cool is that it's on the border of IL/WI so it's kinda in the middle of the nosrthern Il ladies and wel, ME! I would be happy arrange a time. If we get a definite number of yeses, then I could get the tix ahead of time at the lower price. Anyone can join in if they decide later and just get tix there. The only weekends out for me are Aug. 4&5, and Aug 25&26 That leaves Aug 11&12, Aug 18&19, Sept 1,2&3 (Labor Day)

Scorpio613
It's been very quiet here lately...where is everybody??? Mom Brag Time...my son's little league team won their Championship Game last night!!! His team finished 2nd and had to play the first place team to determine the overall winner of their division (Minor A) and his team won by 1 run against a very good team! It was very exciting! Needless to say, I am a very proud Mom today! Edited June 29, 2007 by Scorpio613
gerardaholic66
:yippee: CONGRATULATIONS :yippee: on your son's baseball game, PatK!!!!! Boy have I been busy!!! My son was just hired at the Jewel I work at. He had orientation today and we have been looking for a car for him to get back and forth to work in. Nothing to fancy just a good and reliable beater that will last a while and I think we might have found one. It is a 1990 Olds Cutlass, it's maroon with good looking grey leather material. The hubby is going to go and take a look at it tomorrow and see if it will cut the mustard. I also got news that I have to start checking my blood glucose everyday and I have to start taking thyroid medication. I was wondering why I hadn't been feeling quite up to par lately. Hopefully I will get myself straightened out. I also have to find time to start getting my stuff together for the UK Cony. A woman's work is never done!!! Scorpio613
I am just watching this car incident at the Glasgow Airport. Scary stuff! I see Gerry was in England yesterday. I hope he is still there and not flying back to Scotland. I wonder if this will affect some people's decision to attend the .net convention in Scotland next month?
