#99
There are quite a few talented ladies here! Behold my Spartan shield cookie, which combined my obssession with passion for 300 and my food decorating skills (yes, I made the arrows): I brought these to a birthday party attended by GALS/TARTS, as I knew that only they would truly understand. stacie-in-nebraska
Everyone's talents are fabulous! I really need to start working on trying the "graphics" aspects of things(animated siggys, etc) but in the mean time here is another poem I've written. Mind you, I'm not married but this is a good fantasy, don't ya think? Love Found sun on my face, earth underneath closing my eyes, feeling the heat breeze blowing softly over my skin lose track of time and just where you’ve been lying beside you, but not close enough wishing for something, but not sure of what moving in closer, your arms circle round succumb to the feelings, love will abound like sailing on clouds, the ground slips away you know in your heart that he’s here to stay his lips touch yours gently, his hand on your cheek the look in his eyes is making you weak he whispers “I love you,” and then takes your hand kissing each finger, then slips on a band you know that it’s happening, you know that it’s real his eyes show the wonder and hope that you feel you smile through the tears, and of course, tell him “Yes,” happily ever…oh, you know the rest…
becozy
Oh, so much talent! I would like to post these, made by Have Mercy... this is the front/back of the bookmark she designed, printed and laminated and donated to the Vegas Convention! In the spirit of sharing, she is sending me some for the Virtual Convention... and we thought we'd share the full-size graphic, so if anyone wants to 'print' them, they can make a bookmark of their own! If anyone doesn't have the printer/ability to do that, and would like one, please pm me with your address, and I will pop one in the mail to you. Yes, even the GALS not in the U.S.! front: back:
Erica78
Anna loved your needle point, they are so good. Stacie love both your poems And all the other talented Gals I know I am forgetting. Everyone amazes my, this is truly a grate place to be. I have a couple more video's I would like to share. The first one is a special video I made for the Love Letter from the Lair thread with all the Gals who post there frequently, there icons and lair names in it. The second one is " Killing me softly" and it is combination of POTO clips and Gerry Pic's Hugs Erica
AnnOC
Leslie, I love it. Have always loved "Killing me softly" especially Roberta Flack's version. Can you imaging slow dancing with Gerry to that....Ahhhhhhhhh *thud*
madamina
A siggy I made which I'm really fond of: First image is a landscape of Cromaty Firth in the Highlands (picture taken by James Constable). Words, in Spanish, are from ElBicho's Tanguillo nuevo lyrics (they're a flamenco-fusion band, I just *love* them!), and they roughly translate into "your eyes remind me of springtime's slow sunset, and I stomp my feet when I don't see you..." (sounds much better in Spanish, I'm afraid... )
irish
Should I post drawings? ---- Okie dokie, I raided my photobucket and included pretty much everything. Some of this stuff is OLD!!! lol . . .. . .. . . . . .. . .. . . . . .. . .. . . OK, I haven't even gotten past Eurofoxx's post yet...but I have to say....you are a fantastic artist! WOW! hugs, Sue
irish
I make Fan video's as a hobby...I am not that good yet. I mainly make them to entertain the ladies in the lair and the ladies in the gutter. I can post some of what I made for the Lair. This first one is a tribute to Scotland and the idea and song choose came from Madamina. Erica Erica, it's great...love the beautiful pics of Scotland oh yeah....and that pretty guy also I have to agree with Barbara, you all have such talents....but after attending the conference last year I knew we were the most talented ladies with exquisite taste in men (well, one man in particular) around! I can't draw stick figures and I hate sewing and I can't sing on key...but I can do stained glass. I hope to do a red rose, tied with a black ribbon and donate it next year for the convention (if I can get my act together) Right now I'm working on a mosaic tile: hugs, Sue
AnnOC
OMG, your works are beautiful, Sue. The shades are breathtaking and the yellow rose is perfect. The iris looks to be outstanding too when done. You are very talented.
becozy
Beautiful work Irish...the colors are stunning...how breathtaking they must be with light shining through! and I don't think I commented on Anna's needlework...I particularly love the blue/white vase one... Madamina...very nice~and it's so true about 'translations'... Erica...more terrific videos! I'm glad I had put aside the time to devote to GALS for this 'Virtual' event...I'm really so touched by all the talent, sharing and caring! Thanks to all who are sharing here...this is quite special.
