I wanted to be sure to share these *wishes* with you, my Beloved GALS!

Thank you, for always being my *port in the storm*

xoxoxoxoxCheri

Greetings my beloved family and friends~

After losing our Missy (our 16 year old kitty) on Christmas Eve, the wind was taken out of my sails quite a bit...and I wondered if I would find the words to share all that is in my heart this New Years Day. I am trying very hard to keep my spirit focused on the Joy of a **love** so pure and beautiful...So, Missy, I am still sending out so much love, in honor of *YOU*...and your Mommy misses you so much.

I hope that my words will remind you of how precious you are to me and how much I treasure the gifts that you have *all* brought into my life.

Hug eachother close in the New Year... always remember how healing it can be to simply share our listening hearts and sweet words of encouragement and compassion.

I hope we always continue to share the JOY of Music and Art ...it is something which keeps my soul rockin'!!!..

David and I want to say *Thank You* ~ for always cheering us on and believing in us, no matter what. Your prayers and your love have brought Light into even the darkest of days. We remain hopeful that the New Year will bring David the *job of his dreams*!

Thank you for sharing my journey and for offering me such constant insight and illumination.... Thank you for inspiring me and believing in me and for offering me your understanding, compassion, friendship and love. There could never be any greater gift than the blessing of having such kindred spirits to walk the path right by my side.....and I am filled to overflowing with gratitude ~~~

Always know how very much you are *Loved*.

A New Years Blessing for *you*

Another New Year~

Thinking back on

the ebb and flow

of Life's tide...

and so many Stars

still left to wish upon...

What will the

New Year bring?

So many choices...

may each and

every soul

find the courage

to choose well...

So many mysteries

yet to unfold...

May we discover

that the greatest gifts

are those which

slumber still,

upon a dusty shelf

in the deepest corner

of our spirit~~

May we find the way

to awaken those

slumbering gifts,

bringing them

into the Light

where they

will sparkle

and shine...

still more Stars

to wish upon.

Don't block that

Starlight

shining from

your beautiful spirit~

there are stories

only you can tell,

dreams you have

only imagined~~

I pray you will listen

and hear the notes

which only your heart

can sing.

I pray that all

will Listen

to the glorious

symphony

of angelsong,

of all hearts

singing the song

we have only forgotten,

yet our Hearts know

every word.

It is the song

of our spirits

breaking free from

chains

of long-past pains~~

In celebration of

*happily ever after*.

May each day

of the brand new Year

invite us to the dance...

the dance of

exquisite Joy

which we feel

in every step taken

upon the path to Freedom...

It is *such freedom*

to hope

to dream

to *Believe*

in all that is

*Possible*.

May we find the Grace

to make our Lives

into all we pray

for them

to Be.

As I whisper

my prayer of Peace

into every corner

of our Earth~~

may the blessings

of Compassion

and Mercy

bring healing

to all who suffer.

May understanding

bring forgiveness

into the

hardest of hearts.

May every fear~

every moment of

grief and pain~

be comforted

by the tenderest

embrace of Love...

May we celebrate

every single day

all that Connects us

and seek to mend

all that tears us apart...

These are my prayers,

my hopes,

my wishes on a

Star...

on this

New Years Day.

For those I love,

for all the World,

may Hope

illuminate the Path

which stretches out

before us.

What will this New Year,

this New Day,

bring for You?

May there be

an *awakening*~~

to bring those

slumbering dreams

to Life...

and may we never

stop wishing

upon a Star.

With all my Love

& Abundant Blessings~

GALS.... Hugs,

Just got back from Queensland and the grandsons yesterday so headed out today with hubby to see PSILU for the first time. Guess What!!!! He loved it too and the man is hard to impress. WOW! Me... well I thought it was a wonderful side of Gerry to see on the screen, so much like he really is than his other movies.

Thanks for all the hugs ladies, Jill, Songbird et al, missed you guys too.

Now to bed as the 3,000 kms round trip with a 1500 kms return journey was a bit tiring but worth it.

Love you all and Vegas is getting closer as it's now 2008

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL

Saw PSILY for the third time today... man, I love that show... Mousie and I were in the same theatre with Madame Angel accidently! Very cool!

I still can't get over how hilarious that was. *collective gasp* Ha ha! Funniest story, too, GALS, because I was just telling my friend Nat that Mel was complaining about it being in the smallest theatre in the corner, and I looked up, and there was Mel! It was so funny. And what are the odds that we're going to see the same movie at the same time on the same day. Well, it's true, it's only in that one theater, and... well, that's the only oddity, I guess. I think we'll have to do it again sometime, ha ha ha!!

Hope you all had a great New Year's Eve, however you chose to spend it. I went to a dance with a bunch of friends... Ended up being very ill, and almost threw up. Boyfriend was very sweet during all that. He didn't leave my side. I never did end up being sick, though, thank goodness. Came very very close, but never did.

Might have a Pirates of the Carribbean marathon with my friend today, if she's feeling better, and I'm feeling up to it. But with us two, who knows!!!

Happy 2008 to all of you!!

Cheri, I'm so sorry about your beloved kitty...they are just like family aren't they. :hearts: And thank you for the beautiful poem. If you ever come up to Northern Callifornia I have the most loveable affectionate kitty that has adopted me (and to which I am so allergic) that I am trying to find a good loving home for her. You and her would make a perfect match!

Jenniper and Jill, are we meeting in the lobby Thursday and if so, what time? I haven't been to this theater to see PSILY so I'm not sure if it's in a big or little theater....have you Jenn?

Paige, I'm with Jenn...there is no such thing as getting bored watching Gerry moves girl!!!! But you can watch any movie you want sweetie!

It was fun in chat last night...thanks Alice, Donna, Lisa, Mel and Sarah!

hugs to all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY WONDERFUL GALS!!!

:party::party::party:

I spent the evening with my family playing games and watching "Underdog", as Mel mentioned earlier. Later on, though, I had an "episode" with my Crohn's disease. I had REALLY overindulged (on food) and I was reminded that I still have a disease, whether I like it or not. :D

I hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve and will have a great year!

Happy New Year everyone! Chat was fun, wasn't it? It would have been more fun for me if my laptop were cooperating. And here y'all thought my bad typing was because of the Merlot....tsk tsk tsk....it's still messing up, and I'm completely sober. I think it's my laptop that's drunk.

Aunt Flo is a wicked, wicked, mean wicked woman. How dare she show her ugly self at my house on New Years day?? :( Oh well...it's a good excuse for me to be cranky to everyone, and spend the day in bed.

I'm watching the outdoor NHL game on TV. It's pretty cool watching guys play hockey in falling snow.

OUTDOOR NHL game? That's awesome! That makes more sense than just about any other sport...

Chat was a blast last night... at one point while I was in there, we had all U.S. time zones represented! :DLisa, I'm sorry that chat kept kicking you out while trying to view my picture link... :doh:Barbara, it was GREAT to see you in there, sorry I couldn't stay longer! I promise I'll PM ya very soon... Sue, Alice, Donna... I think that was everyone that was there when I was!

Hey, :welcome:hotlips70! A very happy new year to you as well!

Mousie, ugh, I'm sorry you and Mum had disease flare-ups last night... blasted digestive disorders! :fook: :grrr2:

LOL Amber, I loved the collective *gasp*, the audience was quite into it! Oh, and everyone, I had a group of teenaged girls sitting in front of Mousie and I... they seemed to be Gerry fan honeymooners... it was a loverly thing to witness!

I STILL forget to breathe in the scene where Gerry and Holly first meet... must bring oxygen with me next time...

Happy New Year!! Let's hear it for 2007, it was quite a year... and let's hear it for 2008!!

I really enjoyed the chat last night!! Twas so much fun, and no worries about me getting bumped off. I got right back on again. We were up until 3:30AM (PST) chatting, and we had so much fun!!! What a great way to ring in the New Year. I slept until 9:30 am this morning.

Hey, Alice and Donna: :barebum:

Paige - yeah, hon, sorry. There is NO such thing as getting tired of a Gerry movie. Hell, I saw PSILY twice YESTERDAY! And then watched Timeline this morning! I can never get sick of looking at that man, or listenening to him speak. I love his voice in Timeline - the REAL Gerry brogue. :heat:

I played my friends' Wii this morning. What fun!!! I kicked butt in tennis and bowling, and then really got into the boxing!!!! Talk about getting out your aggression!!!!! I worked up a sweat and almost went into cardiac arrest, and I'm shaking a bit, but I feel great!!! LOL

I sure hope everyone has a wonderful day today! We're just hanging out playing games. I'll probably go home sometime Friday; it's supposed to rain really hard on Saturday.

HUGS to everyone!!!!!
