Random things you have in common with Gerry

Recommended Posts

Well, a can add a few things....

1)We were both born ont he 13th of the month(Gerry in Nov & me in Dec)

2)We both have a "lazy eye"

3)We both own adorable girl Pugs!!!!

4)I named our Pug Miss Paisley Butler, in honor of Gerry's hometown.

Which I can't believe that Cassie's dog is named that too!!!!

Well, that's all I can think of right now.

What is with the eye thing?? That's two people who have said something about Gerry having a "lazy eye" or a droopy eyelid. I have never noticed that, and believe me, I stare at the man quite often.

What am I missing??????

I'd have to look for certain pics, but in some, I think just like me, when he is tired, you can see that he has one eye that drifts to the outside just a little.....not even sure which one...that's to much to think about looking at him straight on in a pic...

Is it his left eye not being as big as his right? Or is it his actual eyeball? I though everyone had one eye bigger than the other.

LOL, sorry to start the weird eye discussion...

In looking at some pictures, I rephrase... the skin on his left eye's brow droops a little lower than on his right. Mine's an actual droopy eyelid (when I was born it was VERY droopy... I had surgery when I was four to correct it a bit).

Cassie, you reminded me of another one! I TOO was let go from my first post-college job... though it was a mutual parting of the ways... my boss actually said, "We'll just cut the ties, and you can go live your dreams."

Okay, so here's a thread to announce random things you have in common with Gerry Butler... (of at PG-13 or cleaner nature, that is :D )

My first one: we both own electric guitars that we only sort of know how to play.

 Hello,

Still visiting places here I haven't seen, I stumbled across this place and saw Christine was the last to post here! I'm Scottish too so, my first things are kind of like hers ... any way, here goes :

I'm Scottish and born in Glasgow, therefore -

We have roughly the same accent, although I'm maybe a bit more Edinburgh than Glasgow

I supported Celtic because -

My favourite colour is green!

I pronounce his name the way he does too (you sort of have to swallow the last rd sound to get it right)

I also decided to leave Scotland, though not in search of fame

My mother's cousin married a Butler ...?

I also have a tendancy to talk a lot and just let the first thing come out without thinking

People whose mother tongue is not "Scottish" English also ask me to repeat things if I get carried away and talk too quickly

Love musicals - I was always in the school musical, but just the chorus, since we had a couple of girls with "operatic" voices and they always got the leads

Love karaoke

According to my friends who have seen him in interviews, I talk the same sort of animated way he does, they have all remarked on it

That's it , that was fun!

 Bye

Sorsha xxxxx

GAWD, this is fun!

1. We both love karaoke

2. We both have green eyes

3. We both have gray hair at our temples. (Except I cover mine with blonde!)

4. We were both born in 1969, so we're both 38

5. We both laugh a lot

6. We both love to talk. A lot.

7. We both drop the "f" bomb a lot

8. We both give the "middle finger salute" when provoked

9. We both love dogs, except I have two beagles

10. We both like to read

I really had to think about it!
