Another example of the tabloids grasping at straws and stretching the truth to get a good story. They weren't exactly "nice" to the fans, either...based on their comment. That is so silly. Like I said many times before all I want it for the boy to be happy as far as that goes I hope Cameron is happy too. I really don't like people to be sad. If they are indeed seeing each each other I wish more than anything that the press will leave them alone so they can have fun. I don't know if they are or not and like I said before it is none of my business. If they are though why can't they be left in peace? I mean honestly can you imagine trying to date and having to leave separately and hide and stuff like that.That would totally suck. Everyone deserves to have happiness in their life. They WON'T be left alone because that's the nature of their business. The media, and the public, decide what is and what is not our business (paraphrasing An American President). The more famous you are, the less privacy you have, and most people know that going into it. I'm sure Gerry is very well aware that just about his every move is being watched, photographed or video taped. I hate it for him, but at the same time he knows what he got himself into. Especially if he's going to date someone more famous than he is. I'm sure he's just having a great time, and why shouldn't he? He deserves it. All his hard work and crap he has had to go through just to get where he's at now - and he's not even at the top yet! As jealous as I am, I'm happy if he's happy . . . Unfortunately for Gerry it is going to be very difficult for him to have a private life now that he is well known. Every time he sees a woman the press is going to have him "in love". Who knows who Gerry is really dating. They are still connecting Gerry with Naomi Campbell, a relationship he denied I believe in GQ magazine. It must be aggravating for Gerry right now. As far as Cameron Diaz goes my daughter was upset about it because she felt Cameron Diaz was mean to Justin Timberlake. LOL. My daughter was cute she told me she hoped Gerry didn't get hurt. I told her I believed that he could handle himself. What is upsetting is the press calling him "carb face" what is up with that? Gerry is beautiful! All men should be carb faces. I suppose we all are going to have to get used to the press being insulting to Gerry sometimes. But it isn't easy I can't imagine how it feels to his family. It must be overwhelming. Before I get too long I just want to say that no matter who Gerry dates/marries...I wish him well. He could marry a Dalek from the Doctor Who Series and I would still love him and wish him all the best. No actor has entertained me more than Gerry. framolamdu Posted April 8, 2008 Report Share Posted April 8, 2008 (edited) Do you know it has amazed me how much attention this has been getting from the media not just in the US but in the UK too but I guess Cameron is a huge star and it is probably more about her than it is him - it is annoying me that they are using all the same stuff in every article - give us something we didn't know as this is a good week or so old. It has been on my local radio stations as well so for someone who is not famous in his own country he is now but for who he may or may not be dating rather than his brilliant body of work. I find that such a shame but hey any publicity might be good publicity and if it wakes people up to who Gerry is and gets bums on seats when Nim's is released here on 2 May then it can't be all bad. I'll say this again to be apparently seen at paparazzi hangouts like Chateau Marmont twice, Teddy's and Shutters and to only have one grainy video of a very non intimate moment with a bunch of people and be seen leaving seperately the paparazzi are failing miserably in their duty to get us some decent proof they are in fact dating. If they have been at all these places and it is not just hearsay then it is not like they have been hiding. You're good enough at getting really unflattering photos of him after getting 2 root canals or leaving all the other celeb hangouts recently like Villa and Goa but you can't get that elusive pic of him and Cam. Shame on you papz I expected more!!!!. I said it in an earlier post Gerry is normally so private when it comes to his personal life that i find it hard to believe all of a sudden he is being so open. It's the 2nd time they've been seen at this location if in fact the first sighting is even true(no photos/vid, no proof). Personally I believe they are industry friends and not involved. Hollywood romances never last anyhow & plus Gerry's track record in relationships haven't been so good as he has stated in the past. After all wasn't Cam with P Diddy "canoodling" with him last week? Plus also Gerry was seen walking his dog with yet another woman like 3 weeks ago. Poor guy can't be in the company of any woman without people trying to hook them up as a couple. I wouldn't read too much into any of this as I don't believe he'd involve himself with an actress, plus the guy looks to be too busy for anything serious. framolamdu Posted April 8, 2008 Report Share Posted April 8, 2008 (edited) I was assuming because the article was posted this morning and the article related to Jake and Reese being spotted out and about having breakfast then later at Robert Downey's birthday party partying with Cameron, Gerry and Ben Stiller etc that it happened last night - no date was given in the article. The x17 video was taken Fri which is in fact the date of Robert Downey 43rd birthday so there is every chance that video is of his party and not another new sighting.
