But my daughter reminded me to find out any info about the convention next year that you may have and send it on as soon as you have it. I told her the 2008 convention isn't even over yet, but she said that was okay as it sounds like you are a bunch of pretty smart GALS and that you would have info on next year pretty soon. She wants to book flights and hotel rooms for her and her friends that are coming with us. They are going to gamble while I go to the convention, as they won't let me fly alone. (I feel like a baby!!!) They are just afraid of me having to wait in line so long with my bad leg. They all have jobs that they have to get permission for time off way ahead of time. So they want to be prepared. I hope I'm not asking too soon. But just put this in a folder for future reference and let me know when you know. Your daughter gives us too much credit. We are in the throes of preparing for 2008 and IT'S CRAZY-BUSY! I can't begin to tell you how NOT prepared we are to even think about 2009! Stay tuned! But I only posted this far ahead because she keeps after me and I don't want to tell her I contaced when I didn't! Now I am honest when I say I did! ha ha ha!! Honesty is best policy at our house. And besides to be dis-honest you have to remember your lies. I have a memory as long as a New York 'second'! Never mind the minute!!!!! I'll bring some blankets in case we get cold. ha, ha, ha! Like we'd get cold watching Gerry!!!!! Believe me if we lived closer, I'd have you here or I'd be there. And yes, we'd be drinking Gerryitas!!!!!!! And wishing to the good Lord he was with us and watching his movies too!!! What a dream!!!! I dream big, HUH? Well, back to working on the 'Gerry". I am soooooooooooooooo hoping that the convention 2009 falls during the same weekend as my family reunion. I can kill two birds w/one stone which would be great. What I do know, however, is that it WILL be during CineVegas in June and it will NOT fall on Father's Day weekend - ever again. As CineVegas hasn't set their dates yet, we cannot set ours. I will, however, let you all know dates the MOMENT Joe gives me the CineVegas dates. If the Hilton does right by us this year (and so far they have been great!), it is more than likely we will again have the convention there next year. By all means, bring your lawn chairs and beverages and chill with your fellow GALS while we wait. In the meantime, stay tuned for more great things happening for Vegas 2008! I told my daughter what happened when I asked about next year and she started laughing and said she was sorry she pushed so hard, but one of the gals has to ask for her time off by the end of summer, for next year!!!!!!! She is the one I want to go the most with us next to my Suzy. I am saving $ & cents in a box for next year and if I sell any thing at the shows in the fall, that goes into my Gerry box!!!!! I have a memeory so short I would be thinking I asked about it and didn't. Sorry I started an avalance Dr. Em. Cassie, you could really come to my house and we could drink Gerry-itas and sit outside and listen to music or go in the house and watch Gerry movies and cry in each others arms. You don't live that far from me. All the rest of you GALS could do the samething at the same time and we could all cry together on the phone!!!!! But, I am most definitely going next year!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! Oh and I am going to bring an overstuffed pool chair with puffy cushions. I can't lay down like I used to! And I love the comfort!!!!!! This is what we GALS do, actually this is how the Gutter Support Center got started, K tells the story oh so eloquently in her welcome tour to my luverly KB. And Lisa Cinevegas is always the same time as the Convention, that's why it will always be in Vegas in June. Right Dayna? That was also how Gerry got to be there that first time. He was there for Ariel Vroman I believe. But we never do seem to get to any of the screenings. I know I was to busy, um, busy sitting at the poolside bar chilling with my GALS.
