Continuing Lizzie's Story

Recommended Posts

Guest Pilar

Hi, GALS!

For the past year or so, I've been tossing around an idea for continuing Lizzie and Frankie's story. I would like to see them all live happily ever after, as I would imagine most of you would, too. I've been writing another beloved G character for close to two years, so I think I'm ready to take on the Stranger how I envision him. I also think I could easily keep it PG 13, as detailed scenes betrween the sheets aren't as important to me as the the characters' inner struggles. I would love to explore the Stranger's "mystery."

Aside from Erik, I think G's portrayal as the Stranger is gorgeous.

Anyways....ya think I should take him on?

:cheer2: Yes, yes x 1000! This is one movie sequel I'd really actually pay to see. Now, do we need to find you a good agent for the screenplay?

YES! Babe, you're like me.....you feel a character so you need to write.... If it's in your heart and your mind doesn't stop thinking about it, then yes, it needs to be put on paper...or our case, screen. I would love to read what you envision would happen where the movie leaves off. I know that Lizzie and The Stranger were not the central theme of the movie, but the first time I saw DF, when Lizzie and Frankie were sitting on the dock at the end of the movie, I kept expecting to see The Stranger come walking up the dock toward them, like he forsake his life as a sailor to become part of their lives. When that didn't happen, I was disappointed even though I realized that is not what the movie was about. So I would be glad to read this sequel.

You write it, and I'll read it!! And for the record--perhaps because of my "advanced" age,

I am perfectly happy with the PG13 love scenes--nothing beats Rhett Butler carrying Scarlett

up that flight of stairs. I don't need details of what happened next. (It could go on a bit farther

and PG 13 allows that, of course.

Looking forward to the story.

Judy

Hi Everybody!

First off, let me say I am FLOORED and TOUCHED by the number of responses on this thread...and I haven't even started the first chapter.

Unfortunately, I've been unable to come online for close to a month except for the library...but I'm back now.

My new job is taking up a lot of my time, but I managed to at least come up with a name for the Stranger AND....a title. On a side note, some of you know already that I write a version of Erik on another thread. Well, he's a VERY demanding muse....and quite jealous. Every time images of the Stranger come into my mind, he elbows him out of the way and yells furiously...."No! NO!" LOL! Those of you who are writers understand this....

Anyways....I have the first chapter in my head and I hope to get it out this weekend!

Thank you all for your patience!

Pil
