engchickie
I absolutely adore this movie. I believe this is one of his best performances, not to mention the strength of the entire cast. So much is communicated through expression and gesture.

planetwalkers
I can't believe I forgot about this one, too. I'm going to need to buy some DVDs this weekend...G.A.L.S. certainly is an expensive condition. Yes, Dear Frankie is a one in a million movie, sort of akin to the Blind Side. Both movies show the true spirt of man and to what extent he will go to change this old world for the betterment of human beigns. Both movies speak volumns and raise the spirit of man to the max. I would like to see Gerry do another movie that lifts peoples spirits as we sure need them lifted in 2010.

Christine ONeal
I totally agree that Dear Frankie and The Jury are big tear jerkers....It tears me up to see Gerry cry(adding Attila to that when N'Kara dies). Those eyes just do me in....They truly are the window into his soul.

I could watch it a hundred times and NEVER get tired of it!!! It has such a different story and all the actors do an excellent job portraying their characters and bringing the script to life!!! Gerry has mentioned in several interviews about how proud he was of this movie, even though it wasn't a big money maker!! This is a MUST SEE for anyone--but especially Gerry fans!!! a MUST
MissSilverWolff
I had just seen this about Wednesday... no, Tuesday actually! I thought it was very, very touching. Of course, i know me. I was laughing when Gerry's character is introduced- what a smoker then. Hehe, thank god he kicked that habit out the door. But, it was very beautiful... I love hearing those accents/brogues, etc. you call them. *Silver*Stars*

Susan~Sporran
More than 5 years later this is still my favorite movie, not just Gerry movie but MOVIE. I love it for its gentle beauty and its gritty reality and its Scottish setting (and accents) and the subtlety of the acting and well, just everything. Any song on the soundtrack still grabs at my heart when it starts to play and makes me want to pop that DVD in and watch it again. Having been lucky enough to visit many of the Dear Frankie locations on two visits to Scotland I felt my connection to the movie increase - I've been there, sat on Lizzie's bench or seen the cranes from near Frankie's hill, followed their steps from the dance hall, stood on the street the Stranger walked down as he left and Frankie waved goodbye to him, had tea at the Corinthian (though its been completely remodeled since the movie was shot). No other movie touches me quite the way Dear Frankie does.
Sabina
"Dear Frankie" is one of my very favorite. My co-worker lended me her copy and the next day after I watched it I ordered my own copy. It is an absolute jewel. That movie showcased His talent, his abilities as an actor. "Dear Frankie", "the Jury" and "One more kiss" are my favorites. Gerry was incredible in all three of them. I hope he'll have more roles like that in Hollywood. He deserves more recognition as a serious talented actor He is.

shirsan
This is one of Gerry's movies that I wish the whole world could see, Gerry fan or not, because after viewing it they would be. One of his best early performances and a character to keep in your heart forever. I still hope in my fondest dreams that they will do a sequel. This is one of few sequels I would love to see. Love him absolutely, Sandy
