8/7 - I Almost Quit Acting After Game

Recommended Posts

www.dailyrecord.co.uk

ACTOR Gerard Butler reckons his new role in action drama Game was enough to make him quit movies for good.

The Scots star of 300 and Dear Frankie told Empire magazine: "I would not say it's been tough, but enough to make me consider retiring.

"It's the intensity. I did a 10-man fight sequence and did the thing over 100 times."

Awww..Gerry, I don't blame you..you know what that means, you must get back to pure dramas, romantic dramas, comedy, romantic comedy. Really, I like the action but please feel free to give it up if it will keep you acting!

I think I've heard him use this phrase before.... :p after Beowulf, once after 300 and even after Phantom! He's just teasing us! :lalala:

Oh, and I love how the article said "ACTOR Gerard Butler" and "The Scots star of 300"

Not a "hunk" or "beefcake" in sight!! Good job, Daily Record UK. :goodjob:

I am so glad that he decided not to retire! Now I would be able to continue watching his past films, but I find myself always waiting for that next, new Gerry movie! This makes me wanna see Game even more, 300 was intense! Kudos for Gerry for sticking with it, it would be a great loss of talent in the film industry!

hmmmm...somehow I feel I heard this statement before........when was that? After Phantom........Beowolf.......300.......

I think he just puts his all, his whole self into whatever roll he tackles and it's exhausting! He probably says this after every movie he makes then takes a nice holiday and gets all rested up to work again.

I'm with you GJ on this one..he's getting older on top of it..it's bound to be draining and exhausting..the long hours and all the physical scenes like the ones in Game and 300..takes it's toll. He should do more singing and alot more hot smoking sexy scenes...LOL!

I was wondering when he would start getting alittle tired. Glad he hasn't given up though!

The older Gerry gets the harder physically it will be for him.

Anyway he has just got to do one more picture with him on a horse.

HE IS PERFECTION ON A HORSE

Hey I bet he would ride a horse in Burns?

He said the same thing after "300" he loves every minute of it...

Don't think he will ever settle down until he breaks something. His testestorine ( hope I spelled that correct) is as high as the sky and the more parts like this one, it surely will not settle down.

Well, it looks like he's happy anyway. Sorry ladies,I'm a mother of 65 and I look at things differently but I still think he is a hottie,,yes siree bob
