I agree. LOVELY decorations. :drool1:

Yes, Swannie, I'm officially an Oregonian. :D I even have my Oregon driver's license. :yay: (I had to pass that written test the first time otherwise my 16 year old would never let me live it down. ) I'm so glad to call this place home. :wuv:

Jenn - Congratulations on Nursing school! You must be thrilled. :goodjob:

Sue - You know you and Dan have my prayers each and every day. :hug1:

I'm excited this morning. Later today, I'm heading over to where my daughter is going to college, about 3 hours away. It's Family Weekend so there are some family events planned. But I'm looking forward to just seeing her face and giving her a hug. She's very happy in her new school but I sure miss having her around home. It will be good to see her. My long time friend of over 30 years will be joining us so it will be a fun girlie weekend.

:hugs: and prayers for all.

Jilly

Hello everyone - I'm feeling a bit like a stranger coming here - its such a long time since I was in the Support Center (hangs head). But I thought I'd give it a try :)

The decoration is as always lovely and exquisite :drool1:

Big hug to you Cat I'm sorry for the loss.

Nancy - huggles.

I brought some pics from my vacation on the Maltese Islands, where the sea is so blue, that you can get drunk just by looking into it. :D

It was very warm and sunny for the whole two weeks - just the right thing before winter starts. We usually travelled around the islands with public buses - old but realiable.

I enjoyed it very much and might return again some time.

Hello everyone! It's been a few weeks since I've really been in here... yipes! I'm keeping pretty busy with the new job. Anyone here order products from Young Living? I'm working in the call center... if you ever call to place an order, I might just answer. :)

I apologize for not being up on everyone's situations... :hearts: to Sue and Dan, remaining in my prayers.

Risa, those pictures were stunning! I've always wanted to go to Malta or to the Maltese Islands because I heard it was beautiful. You just confirmed that! I am so happy you enjoyed yourself!

Hi everyone...and thank you for all of your prayers and support...Dan is feeling much better...I think he has almost completed gotten the toxicity out of his system and his feet are feeling much better because of it. We really believe now that other than the fact that he has problems with his feet because he was born flat footed and spent 60+ years beating them up jogging and riding dirt bikes in enduroes etc. the chemo med is to blame for the excruciating pain that he has been in. So when he starts back on it they are going to have to modify his dosage. We meet with the new oncologist Monday (YES...the new oncologist has finally arrived at the Cancer Center up here) and we will then find out the results of Dan's latest PET and CAT Scan (which I've been dying for over a week now to know)...

Oh Swannie, I absolutely love that wall hanging and the rug is beautiful...can't wait to see pictures of it all together (we have VERY similiar tastes in decorating as well as men...lol.) And YES, happy birthday to Bill!

Risa, hello...and thanks for sharing those pictures...it looks so beautiful.

Elissa, I'm so glad you arrived safe and sound...what we won't do for our kids huh?

Paige, hugs and yes ... I am praying for your friend and for you too.

hugs to all..

love,

Sue

Sue, I'm so glad to hear Dan is feeling better. WOW, what a relief that must be for you both. I'm glad you like the decorative items for my home. I should be receiving that banner any day, and I can't wait to see what it looks like in person. I have another one I bought from that same company, and it is really nice. I have found that banners/wall tapestries are more economical than framed prints, and if you have a large space, you can order them in many sizes. Framing is so expensive! You pay more for the framing than the artwork.

Anyhow, here is my other banner (got it last year)

It is gorgeous in person, and the tree has significance for me.

Bill and I went to the Home Show tonight and got some great ideas for the next phase of our remodel... which will be the BIGGIE! The Kitchen. The whole thing has to be gutted because it has never been updated since the house was built way back when. Our home is a 40's bungalow, and we are just now getting to all these projects.

I got worn out about half way through the exhibit hall though, so hubby is going back tomorrow by himself. He just LOVES to talk with all the sales people, and he loves the gadgets. As for me, I just want to look at the "pretty" things, like kitchen cabinet styles, iridescent glass tile back-splashes and wooden blinds! LOL

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I wore myself out today so I imagine I'll be resting a lot tomorrow.

Many blessings to all!

Swannie

Swannie, it's beautiful.....I love tapestries... I have one behind my bed...Dan'l is sleeping so I can't take a picture of it tonight...but I'll take one and post it so you can see it....Actually I have two of them that go behind my bed...one for spring and summer and one for fall and winter ... I change them when I change my comforter sets. I still have my spring and summer one up but I guess it's about that time to change....I just haven't felt up to it this year yet.

Well, I think I'm going to head for bed.

Goodnight.

Love,

Sue

Hello everyone - I'm feeling a bit like a stranger coming here -

Risa

RISA!!!!! :penguin::hearts::cheer2:

Hiya! Thanks for your thoughts and Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Good to see you doing well.

Huge HUGS :hugskisses:

Nancy: Oh that job just sounds so sad too often. I am thinking of you and hope you find something more suited to your sweet temperament.

I've been at a writers conference all yesterday and today. Wow what a time. I've met published horror and SF and fantasy writers, talked to editors, attended workshops. It's been great. And I realise how much I still have to learn, but that's what life is all about.

Hugs and shout-outs to you all

Howdy folks, just popping in. Hubby is slowly healing. Never having had any surgery except for some moles cut off. It sorta whooped his butt. Then my son and his whole family have strep throat and I think that is what I have. I have been dizzy, clammy, coughing up gross things, feverish, with a sore throat and ears.

Still, God is good. My son gave me a blessing. I was able to not be dizzy to be with and take care of the hubby including driving (which I rarely do) without any of these symptoms. I wasn't home long before they came back.

I have been able to cook and clean so I am very thankful for all my blessings despite being sick.

I am still sending up prayers everyday for the sick here. I love you all immensely.

Love,

Tracy

Hello Gals,

I have just seen a very positive review of RocknRolla on one of our national breakfast shows. Nelson Aspen, the Hollywood correspondent, spoke with GB, Ritchie, Piven and Bridges. All happy moments except for the 'typical' question to GB about a needle with Madonna's name on it.

According to Aspen, it will hit the cinemas later this month in Australia. Really looking forward to it!

Did you see it, Cat? Sunrise - Channel 7.

 everyone! We went and cleaned our daughter's old apartment today, tomorrow is the final walk-through. I'm sure they'll find some reason to keep part of the security deposit, but they won't be able to say the place was dirty when she moved out!

Thanks for the welcome to Calfornia, Susan and Sue! I love it here! Still trying to figure out how to move out here....sell my house...sell off a lot of furniture....sell a car and a truck.... :whoa:

Suzie, if I happen to run into Gerry somewhere, you'll be the first to know! :pillowfight:

Elissa, come up NORTH!!!!!! It's much more reasonable and the air is much more cleaner and healthier AND you're still in CA and we can CARPOOL (ok, well, it's kinda a heck of a looong way to carpool) to LA! lol

I'm exhausted and Swannie, it's all your fault...all this talk of decorating and seeing your lovely stuff and I decided this afternoon that I needed to get my spring/summer stuff away and get out the fall/winter stuff....ugh...I'm still working....just took a break.

hugs to all!

love,

Sue

That's a great idea, Cat. But I am far north remember.

What we could do is all see it on the same day and then post together or do a Chat.

What do you think?

Hey everyone!

Well I've lost my mind! I was bored so I'm planning my MySpace Halloween page. I wanted a fun avatar in the spirit of the season, so I took my own image and messed with it. I really wanted to black out a tooth and draw a wart on my chin, but my little PB editing tools are not sophisticated enough to do that, and even if they were, I'm NOT!

Swannie, I think you do it like this. Look for a picture you look ticked off in and plagiarize the Hulk adding a twist or stealing something connected with Gerry like the Scottish Brogue version of that naughty F word.

Hi, Everybody. I got up for a bit, but I am feeling clammy and yucky again so I am gonna go back to bed.

Love,

Tracy
