Hey Gals,

Sorry if this is something everyone already knows, but I'm new here so here goes...

I always thought that the song the preist sings at Gerry's wake in PS I Love You is hilarious!

It's sung by the Pogues who also sing "Love you 'till the end" on the soundtrack.

The name of the song is "Fairytale of New York".

Here is a link. It's on youtube.

Again sorry if this has already been discussed :D Enjoy!!

Thanks so much for the Pogues video link. I wonder why the song wasn't included on the PSILY CD since it was such a memorable part of the movie? I want to get a Pogues CD. I've also wondered why they didn't include Gerry's singing? That was one reason I bought the CD in the first place.

You're welcome!

I wish they would have included Gerry singing too. I love his rock n roll voice voice! :music:

I have the soundtrack to RocknRolla, and there's one track that has Gerry's voice from the movie, from when he's talking with Mumbles about Handsome Bob's "secret" that everyone knew EXCEPT One Two. (it's not singing; just dialogue) He drops the F bomb, and I for one, am glad I have that immortalized on a soundtrack!

I also have the Rock N Rolla soundtrack. Great music!

I agree it's fun to have that fabulous voice on disc!
