GALS ~

These are GREAT ideas for our CafePress!!!!

Whatever t-shirts we have left by next weekend, I'm going to post on E-bay, too. We'll probably get all kinds of recruits from them!!! I'll, OF COURSE, put a link to our site on my e-bay sellers page and on the invoices!!!

:hugs:

Yesterday I was perusing eBay and found Gerard Butler boxer shorts (they aren't HIS of course, but someone added pictures of him to the bottom of the legs of the boxers). Now THAT seemed weird to me.

BTW - did you notice over at GB.net that the Tonight Show used the show with Gerry's appearance with Glenn Close as one of the two they submitted for an Emmy nomination (someone auctioned the DVD on eBay-too bad it had already sold when I found out about it). The show didn't get nominated but Jay himself did. I hope that lots of academy members "Remember the Face, Then!" as Gerry said during that story. If anything it is GERRY who should have gotten the nomination as outstanding guest on a variety or music program.

I purchased a couple of the mouse pads so I couple of small warnings. They are smaller than they appear and they took almost a month to ship from Thailand.

ebay has oodles of goodies. I think the weirdest I once saw was a Gerry pillowcase that said "Mrs. Butler lays her head here" or something or other.

I bought a Gerry pillowcase for my daughter from Ebay. It says, "Same dream, different day." I have to wrestle with her to wash it. :fry:

Hey!

Yeah I've seen those things...they're very cute ::D:

I actually bought a Phantom of the Opera cd clock, magnets (to put on the fridge), magnets of only him in shorts... :pant::pant: , small pocket calendars and some advertisement thingies: postcards, fliers...etc.

When I have some more money I'm gonna buy more...see what I can find.

Cheers Priscilla

LOL I actually got the canvas montage you show. It is wondeful, but not as sharp and clear as a photo. Still, worth the investment.

:gerik:

Check out my latest investment from Ebay. Woo-hoo. Love it, love it, LUV IT!

Oh I already went broke on Ebay! I mean the Phantom page alone is like 35 pages long, and another 11 for Gerard!!!! I'm like a addict or something and have to force myself to only go on it once a week or so! I got one of the mousepads from Thailand, it is really nice and came in about 2 weeks---guess it depends on who you buy from. It IS smaller but works fine and I get to look at his sweet face! They have LOTS of great stuff but the stuff I REALLY WANT IS ALWAYS TOO EXPENSIVE!!! :bonk: Like they have these Barbie and Phantom dolls going for over $200 and hell who wants Barbie-Christine anyway!!! They have these cool Xmas ornaments and they go for over $20!!!! But you can get cheap stuff also. They have bookmarks, photos, magnets, cups! Yeah, it is LOTS of fun to look through there---oh yeah they have Phantom Jewelry too. If you haven't checked it our head on over! We can all go broke together  See you in the poor farm, and we can compare our GB loot!!! :drool1:

Oh, so you were the lucky buyer to get that. Is it as beautiful as it looks? I mean, aside from having the faces of Gerry?

Geeze...

it's technically illegal for those sellers to use Gerry's pictures. Tamara has an explanation over at GB.Net. Many are poor quality.

I make many of the same things you guys are shelling out big bucks for, myself!

But since I don't sell them, I can print my little heart out!

All you need is a fairly decent printer and some supplies from a crafting store!

I've made pillowcases, shirts, keychains, stickers, book marks, magnets. You can buy mousepads to personalize. The windowclings for mirrors is fun...take a look at the one I had up (actually, it's still there--my poor hubs and kids!) for the Tarts party in July. look in the upper right corner of the mirror (that's my treasured Gerard Butler Tart bear, looking at her reflection. Her name is Kenya Snogmee Gerry! :;): She was a gift!)

In October I'm going to work on my clear glass Christmas ornaments with Gerry pics nestled in 'em! They're a special surprise for the CT Tarts (none that I know post on the forum here, or I'll be spilling the beans!) When I have 'em done I'll photobucket a pic.

Hehehe hooray for eBay! :p

My best friend in the world got me a Gerry Mug and a Gerry COMPACT MIRROR from eBay for my birthday! Hahahaha I drink from the mug ALL THE TIME and I'm constantly using my mirror to put on my make-up... people always comment on it when they see me take it out ;)

I have to say that I've gotten some photos off Ebay that are really blurry and amateurish. But there are some sellers that provide excellent quality on Gerry items. Anything by Phantom Collections is amazing stuff. The pictures are clear, sharp, very professional. They also have an artist that does oil paintings of Gerry from Phantom and then sells those glicee reproductions at a minimal cost. They have a website with a gallery and also photographs you can purchase too. They are more expensive than most sellers, but you can tell they are professionals. But always check the feedback of a seller before you bid.

I'm attaching a copy of a print I got from them and it is amazing!

I make a lot of my own stuff too!!! I got some bracelets at the Dollar Store and they had flat shell parts and I just used that ModgePodge stuff and decoupaged on pix of The Phantom. I also got some craft store hearts and I plan to put Phantom pix on those too to hang on my Christmas tree---I plan to do a Masquerade style tree, and I am going to even put masks on!!! It is fun to make stuff, I just print the pix out on the computer/printer. I haven't done some of the other stuff, but I know there is lots of stuff to buy to make bookkmarks and tradeing cards and stuff. I am new to computers so I am learning how to do it all! You can get these glass discs at the craft store too, and glue a photo behind them and then I bead around them and make necklaces and pins. I'd like to hear about the stuff people are making!!! :chatter:
