Jeb
I was hoping he was letting it grow for a role, too. (I've given up 'for life'. ) And all moral ruminations aside, it is insanely comforting to know, on this cold, gray and snowy Nebraska day, that he was in LA getting his hair cut just like a real guy. It's the little things that give us joy. jane
lavender1960
Okay I love Hal Sparks, he is a very funny guy, he is the actor that played Michael in Queer as Folk, one of my all time favourite shows, well turns out he was at what sounded like one fun Xmas party last night and he clearly loves to Twitter: Watching Adam Sandler Sing the Sex Pistols at a Christmas Party with a full band... Yes really 3:11 am EST That alone would be priceless but... Gerard Butler here too. Nice Guy. Still wanna kick him in the chest and yell "..Sparta!!" and when he asks Y say "p.s. I love you"..That's y 3:37 am EST Edited December 20, 2009 by lavender1960

Delene Well the guy is also a bit of a standup comedian so I think [i hope] he was actually paying a compliment, as he notes he is a fan of the movie 300 in another tweet and he would say after doing it, PS I Love You. I think many men have fantasies of being a Spartan Warrior and get excited in the presence of King Leonidas, bwah. Well about 2 people reported simultaneously on Gerry in line at Starbucks I believe still in LA. Haven't seen Beowulf/300, so not sure it's Gerard Butler in line next to me at Starbucks. Wait... Screaming girls he waved at just sealed it joshzepps Dec 21, 2009 18:49 EST one of the screaming girls methinks my friends said i have to tweet about how gerard butler waved to us angelaattended Dec. 21, 2009 18:43 EST Edited December 22, 2009 by lavender1960
GBPhanatic
You know, I was just sitting here thinking about where Gerry might be. Things are so quiet. That man lives in Starbucks I think He's probably out Christmas shopping. I can tell you if GB was standing next to me in line, I couldn't get my fingers to tweet anything. But it's kinda cool that we have this technology. Wonder what Gerry would think of it though. I only wish he'd do some tweeting himself and then I might learn how to do it. What's next? Someone in the bathroom stall next to Gerry? Would that be too much information? Delene Edited December 22, 2009 by GBPhanatic

And yes...that would be TMI if someone tweeted that they were in the stall next to Gerry. Besides that...the germs...ewwwwww.I think I've seen How Clean Is Your House too many times,I haven't looked at a bathroom the same way since. Guest Kyriem
Kyriem But were you flat out in first class I was upgraded to first class a few times with Virgin Atlantic and have never been so relaxed and refreshed coming off a flight before and never had jetlag at all which is unusual for me with a transatlantic flight. I do expect due to time differences there is bound to be a bit of jetlag but since celebs dont really travel cattle class they wont come off feeling the same as us. Moira Oh well Moira, I wasn't in first class of course and I've never been...Crammed in the second, unfortunately.. I remember when I flew from Miami to London, in the BA plane there were even beds or sort of... Well, sure Gerard doesn't suffer like us... lavender1960
Well I have to hope that there is a Twitter etiquette just like there is netiquette or just plain old etiquette and courtesy - beyond the odd stupid remark that you can find anywhere on the internet or even uttered on the street - I never understood why people feel the need to insult or make fun of strangers, but it happens - never seen a tweet remotely like the one feared, thank goodness. Besides most men might be intimidated standing too close to King Leonidas, bwah.

GBPhanatic
I would love it if Gerry "tweeted" but somehow I just don't see him doing that sort of thing. Maybe once he started, he couldn't stop. I'm like that so sometimes I avoid certain activities because I'm afraid I'll get hooked......just like this computer. I'm sure the day will come when a "tweeter" see's Gerry in the John. Of course, your hands are pretty occupied when you're in there and there is the germ thing as well! Guest sugarbee
Hi..I'm not in here often but just read the comment about tweeting from the bathroom. Unfortunately I remember seeing a couple of months ago something about running into him in the bathroom . I was looking at posts about his date where they both went into the bathroom and she was gone when he came out. Well the next link was someone's blog mentioning him in the bathroom. I didn't believe a word of it and they said he was "wobbly". It had another comment that I won't put on here, but nothing is off limits with people. I personally would hate to be in the public eye like that where you can't do ANYTHING without comment. That would make me paranoid! It happened a long time ago. It seems that most people are respectful to him when they Tweet about his doings. I have never seen anything overly intrusive. I would be money that Gerry doesn't have a Twitter account. I was trying to be funny; apparently an epic failure as usual.
Jeb
. . . Unfortunately I remember seeing a couple of months ago something about running into him in the bathroom . . . someone's blog mentioning him in the bathroom. . .I saw that and it was just somebody trying to be snarky. I wouldn't attach any importance to it at all. People like to call attention to themselves and figure dissing celebs is an easy way to do it. The date story is a jokey anecdote Gerry tells on himself. Nothing bad. jane
