LOL Yes, the Gutter is a real place here on the board. You have to be 18 or over and ask a Mod/Admin for the password. It's not a place where anything goes, but things are a bit "looser" down there. As for Gerry ... I was thinking ... if he was "seen" shopping yesterday it's very possible his flight was canceled due to bad weather conditions across the country and in Scotland so IF he was staying in LA and was invited to someone's house for Christmas, he could have been out buying last minute gifts. There is a guy in my area that frequents that automotive and fishing aisles at our local Walmart that looks alot like Gerry. First time I saw him I was like "Wow,he looks alot like Gerard Butler"....and I made a biiiiiiig loop and circled back around to get a good look(no ring either but he has a gf).I didn't think at all that it was him because what in the heck would Gerard Butler be doing at Walmart in Northwest TN. Not every airport has that full body scanner, the one that apparenly can see exactly what you look like under all your clothes. I love my family but some of the best Christmas’s I’ve had have been the ones off the beaten path so to speak with friends. Most tweets I take with a grain of salt, it’s impossible to know if a tweeter really did see Gerry. But if I see a cluster of tweets claiming Gerry sightings, say on the Isle of Manhattan, within a few blocks of each other, I figure the tweets are accurate. Sometimes it is no better than being like a peeping tom into someone's life . Gerry and his fandom have brought alot of good things into my life and he is one of the most fan friendly celebs out there that is very open and honest with his fans. I think there comes a time when no matter how much you want to know everything about him we have to realize if he wanted us to know what he was up to 24/7; like other celebs; then he'd have his own twitter account. The guy deserves a private life away from prying eyes beit fans or papz. I know I have been guilty of feeling I have to know everything about him and its just not healthy. We are his fans we are not his personal friends and i've come to realize what he does not reveal himself do I really have a right to know about??? Moira I really don't care to know "everything" about him and except for the alleged sightings via twitter, I appreciate much more the information about him that he reveals on purpose. Sometimes it's difficult to ascertain if he is being honest sometimes because he's such a kidder. On the upside though, if he did have his own twitter account, he could keep his fans informed of his whereabouts and what he's up to on his terms and we wouldn't need to rely on other "sightings" that could be false anyway. However we do not need to know everything it's true and Gerry doesn't seem to be the kind of person that could sit still long enough to "tweet" (unless he was in the bathroom on the throne) and if he ever revealed he had a twitter account, it would get chaotic! I honestly DON'T need to know what he's doing 24/7, as hard as it might be for some of you to believe me. He's a grown man with his own life, and I respect that tremendously. I'm sure he's happy as a pig in shite with no one but his close friends and relatives (maybe) knowing where he is. I can't imagine what it must be like for the world to know your business all the time. He deserves the down time. That being said, I'm human also. I was hoping this would be fun. Que sera ...
