Shamrocked
OMG, Everyone! My youngest son called and they just had the Level 2 pregnancy ultrasound TODAY and said I am gonna be a grandma to a little BOY this time! This is my dear sweet son and DIL that had a miscarriage last time so we are so thrilled that everything looks fine on the ultrasound and is going well for them. Thank the Good Lord for his blessings! My hubby was so sure that they would have a boy--he will be over the moon! Son is calling him at work right now! Early in this pregnancy, when son told us they were expecting, he had had a dream and he remembered it so well, he said. I got thrills up my spine when he said that he saw a little child and he knew it was a boy because in the dream he had to teach the little boy how to peepee! He mentioned this again today. This is amazing to me. Oh my I am also just walking on air! So so happy for my little-- but, gosh growing so fast!-- Delaware family. My daughter and SIL are expecting a baby girl at the end of April --at the same time! I am blown away by all this. Kathy has awarded me the "Grandma of the Year" award and I think I have earned it! Of course ALL of us grandmothers earned it! Thanks for sharing my joy! I am off to make some more baby boy-to-be announcements. Shamrocked
Just want to say to all my GALS and PAL friends for the kind congrats on my growing family. LOL. You GALS and PALS are the best! I never dreamed that my kids would all decide to have children so close together. Seems like one minute they are all teens with all that angst and then before you know it they are married with kids of their own. Diane

Attila Girl
ANNA, Everytime you say "300 Zoom", I get all excited! But, isn't that what you call it when you're watching "300" and you "zoom" in on Gerry's moonlit scene????? Awh, I'm sorry, maybe that's not nice. I do try to make my font bigger so it's easier for you to read. Hi Peggy!! I just had to back track on some posts and I saw you there!
Anna
“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk by the fire…it is the time for home.” ~Dame Sitwell I love coming in here to chat with my Galfriends, here's wishing the the germs are at bay, we don't want anyone ill for the holidays do we? Diane I do envy all those Grandma's out there with new babies/babies on route, there is nothing more heart warming to be a Grandma, Cassie sweetie you have all the hard work then Grandma has all the fun. Just when the shopping is done along comes the perfect gift.......to late! Found this on Amazom.com web site, Mr. Coffee Cocomotion Hot Chocolate Maker which I know the children would love....never mind it would be difficult to use....would need an adapter to work here in the UK, but it sure looks fun. They both enjoy a warming hot chocolate after a hard day's play! Naughty Nancy I said 'CHOCOLATE' I can't stop thinking Gerry/Chocolate everytime I come in here Sue! And just for you, ZOOM ZOOM! Hi there Suzie, where's Elissa? Cat, Debbie, Judy, Swannie, Cat, Sue, Andrea, dear Peggy and sweetiepie Fran, how are you doing Galfriends? Big hugs for Mel, Mousie and Susan too, insert name here................................ if I forgot to mention you, now let me get out of here, on way to church. hugs, Anna X Thinks I need a new siggy....... Attila Girl
After being online here, I think I need to go to Church too!! I love your little Christmas poem. Oh ANNA, tonight was the final episode of the BBC Robin Hood series...and yes, they killed that handsome, sexy "villian" of ours. But, he did get to become "good" for the last couple of episodes. What really got me was RH himself....I was NOT expecting that!! But they didn't follow the real story anyways, right? I always loved Robin Hood, beginning with Errol Flynn when I was a very little girl. It was my favorite movie...till I saw Camelot. But, actually, Robin Hood has a happier ending than Camelot. Camelot is too melancholy for me these days. Too much saddness and regret. Tomorrow is Sunday, so I wish everyone a wonderful, beautiful day!! Nancy P.S. Is someone going to make me a Christmas siggy, or will I have to put Zac Efron back up?? I guess Autumn is over. I think we missed it here in SO Cal. We went from 100 degrees in October to these very cool mornings and downright chilly nights. I shivered all day at home today. It's been a rough couple days, but faith his holding me together. Been studying all I can about Alzheimers... very difficult reading. I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday, despite whatever trials have come your way. Christmas seems heighten the hurts of the heart. If any of you are looking for a beautiful and unusual Christmas CD, I highly recommend Olivia Newton John's Christmas Wish. Gorgeous. Anna
Diane I would be honoured to 'wear' that siggy, thank you, so kind of you. Will you post me the img thing please? Had a super lunch today, there were eleven of us, friends and neighbours, all piled into the local Indian restaurant for a Buffet luncheon. As I only eat one type of Indian dish mine was a 'set meal' but very enjoyable. We all meet about once a month for Sunday lunch, each of us have the chance to suggest the venue. Himself ate very heartily, his type of spicy food. Afterwards I went with two of the ladies dog walking on the 'Gallops', it's a vast area where race horses are trained, no horses today though, it was blustery and cold but dry so we all enjoyed it....as did the dogs! Swannie, my advice from considerable experience, is to leave it to the experts, reading about this condition will not really help. Symtoms vary, and the condition can fluctuate so much it's best to take each moment as it comes without constant recourse to written text. Just enjoy family life as best you can, no amount of perspicacity helped me deal with my Mum, her inconstancy of mood pattern could test the patience of a Saint, yet we achieved for her, with the additional help, a safe secure envirionment in which she functioned in her chosen mode, in other words Mum did what she wanted to do not what we wanted. I went down on my knees today and thanked the Good Lord for allowing me another Christmas to be spent with my adored loved ones, some of you may know that I was robbed of my childhood, no sweet memories upon which to build, but I surely make up for that loss now. If it twinkles or shines, plays disgusting Christmas tunes (that anoys Himself), is dressed in red or gold, has a shiny nose, or sleeps peacefully in a little straw bed surrounded by a Heavenly Host........... I love it! I don't allow one 'Bah Humbug' to set one foot across my threshold. I embrace the Holiday with the tenacity of a bulldog, baking, making wrapping, shopping....and all the entertaining, eating and drinking, wishing I hadn't eaten the last mince pie......feeling like this after, but wishing I could do it all over again! And with that I bid you all a Merry Goodnight, Christmas hugs, Anna X

Shamrocked
Hi Anna, oh so happy to see you did use the siggy I made. Enjoy! And still grab the lovely one from Frannie for when you want to change it. LOL. I change mine all the time. I am a siggy piggy! I agree that since joining GALS and finding out about posting pictures and making graphics like siggies that a computer is a marvelous thing (when it works properly). And I am amazed that I can chat with friends from all over the world on GALS. So glad you are feeling better and are getting better each day. LOL, I am like you with the fun of toys of Christmas! The more it moves, sings, or does something silly, the more I love it! You should see my family rolling their eyes and groaning at Christmas when i get out my pretties. Have fun with yours. Peggy, I hope your therapy works wonders for you. I have you in my prayers for it to help a lot. Sue, ouch, take care of the fingers--you need them for posting and making siggies!
