Hey, "Tit Tart," -- don't take this the wrong way, but if I meet you at the convention, can I touch your boob?

Well, I love the soft rock of the '80's. You know, the big hair bands. Loverboy, Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, Bob Seager, Aerosmith, Eddie Money.

You can throw in a little country as well. Line dancing is fun. A little 2 steppin'. :dance3:

For swinging, you definately need the 50's. Beach Boys, Buddy Holly.

Slow dancing to Patsy Cline is the best.

Sometimes, you just have to throw some Disco in there. :cheer:

This ma soond sill but A want tae deadicate ah song tae aw o yese...acuse A whar no be able tae gae...

A toucht this mey be aw guid song tae end the nicht wi...o mebbe no..

For Guid:

Frae the musical

Wicked..

I've heard it sad

That people come into our lives for a

Reason

Bringing something we most learn

And we are led

To those who help us most to grow

If we let them

And we help them in return

Well I don't know if I believe that's true

But I know I'm who I am today

Because I knew you....

Like a comet pulled from orbit

As it passes a sun

Like a stream that meet a boulder

Hafway though the wood

Who can say if I've been changed for the

Better?

But because I knew you.

I have been changed for good.

It may well be

That we will never meet again

In this lifetime

So let me say before we part

So much of me

Is made of what I learned from you

You'll be with me

Like a handprint on my heart

And now whatever way our stories end

I know you have re-written mine

By being my friend...

Like a ship blown from it's mooring

By a wind off the sea

Like a seed dropped by a skybird

In a distant wood..

Who can say if I've been changed for the

Better

But because I knew you...

I have been changed for good....

Juist a tought..

Aw o yese hiv become like family...

An whan ye live Vegas...

each o ye will leave wi memories that will live intae ye hearts forever...

thou ye are gaun ye sperate wey...

Hiv fun....

Gabriel...

Gabriel... what a beautiful suggestion, and the lyrics really are perfect for us GALS and PAL. I have never heard this song, but I do love the songs I HAVE heard from Wicked.

:tissues: We wish you were going too Gabriel...

Chris,

I've heard of the Cha Cha Slide.. wow, it's been years since I've heard that.

Gabriel,

What lovely lyrics! I've never heard much from Wicked, except the lines that they play on the radio when they advertise the show. Thanks so much for sharing. Is it a slow song, or upbeat song?

I LOOOOOOVE the Wicked soundtrack! I love "Defying Gravity" too.

(Sidenote:OMG...a man that likes musicals AND can cook...I'm in LOVE!!!!)

Anyway...

I'd love anything from the RENT soundtrack too (La Vie Boheme is always cool, or Seasons of Love).

Also you have to do Greased Lightnin' when it's a big group of girls...

Also: (ok, anyone that knows who did these songs, feel free to add that, because I'm a song idiot)

"Fat Bottomed Girls" - Queen (also Bohemian Rhapsody)

"Funky Cold Medina" - I think that's Tone Loc...

"Baby Got Back" - Sir Mixalot

"Bust a Move song" - Young MC

"The Right Kind of Wrong" - LeeAnn Rimes

"Hot Stuff" - is that Donna Summer???

"I Want you to want me" - Letters to Cleo or Cheap Trick

"Love Shack" - B52s

anything Maroon 5 and Vertical Horizon

that "I Believe in a thing called Love" by the Darkness

Black Eyed Peas "My Hump"

anything Will Smith, possibly even the Fresh Prince song....LOVE that!

the "Another Night Another Dream" song - La Bouche

"What a man" - En Vogue

"Waterfalls" - TLC

"1,2 Step" - Ciara

"Total Eclipse of the heart" - the Eurhythmics

some ACDC - possibly "Big Balls" or "You Shook me"

some Ace of Base

some Beastie Boys, maybe "Fight for your right to paaaarty!"

Avril and Alanis are always good

the Blu Cantrell song

ALL coldplay

some Counting Crows - "Mr. Jones"

ALL Dido

Desire - "Love will save the day"

the "What's goin on?" song by 4 Non-blondes

I love Green Day - maybe "King for a Day" or "Nice Guys Finish Last" or "Good Riddance"

any Norah Jones, Joss Stone

any Offspring - "Pretty Fly" , "Keep 'em separated", "I want you bad", "Original Prankster", "My friend's got a girlfriend"

maybe Eminem's "Slim Shady" or "the Moment"

early No Doubt, or Immaculate Collection Madonna

Marvin Gaye's "sexual healing"

"heya" outkast

Paula Abdul

early Janet Jackson (or possibly...shudder...Michael...hey..."Billie Jean" is a goodie!)

love the Red Hot Chili Peppers and REM

Right Said Fred - "I'm Too Sexy"

Violent Femmes "Blister in the Sun"

U2 and Wheezer

possibly Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" or MC Hammer's "Can't Touch This"

Also, without fail - "It's Raining Men" - the Weather girls

I know that's a LOT, but whatever is played, we're gonna have a blast!!! Thanks to Mo from gbusa for volunteering! Woot!

:Draculababy: Got to have Breathless by the Corrs, as that is how I feel whenever I see our beautiful Scot.

I love that song and can't help but think of the Gerry video when I hear it.

This is not a dance suggestion but a theme song suggestion

If you are as old as I am you will remember a movie called BYE,BYE BIRDIE, starred Ann Margaret. It was actually a spoof on the Elvis fan worship. There's a song from that movie "We love you Conrad". During the days of Beatlemania we (fans) sang that song but subsitituted Beatles for Conrad.

the words are:

WE LOVE YOU ____________

OH YES WE DO.

WE LOVE YOU ____________

AND WE'LL BE TRUE.

WHEN YOU'RE NOT WITH US,

WE'RE BLUE.

OH __________

WE LOVE YOU.

Anybody remember it?

Gabariel, the lyrics are amazing. Thank you for the suggestion. Will we be seeing you in Vegas?

Boomer, I vaguely remember the lyrics but nothing is coming to mind. I do think it would be fun to have a them song, or sponsor song or something. What fun!!! :yippee:

:Draculababy: I was thinking that we should have a Phantom singalong. I am sure that we all know the words and that would be so much fun. I can just picture us doing 'Point of no Return'. :mopboyerik: This is probably what gerry would be doing if he was there. (hehehe)

I'm not going to be there but do you think you could put in for (and I'm a little ashamed to admit I own this cd) "Say You'll Be There" by the Spice Girls? It's a good dancing song.

I love hearing Spice Girls when I'm out dancing...YO Tell me what you want!
