Gerard Butler stays nice and toasty by grabbing a coffee from Starbucks in Aspen, Colorado on Monday (December 28).

The 40-year-old Bounty Hunter kicked back and enjoyed a pleasant conversation with a friend at an outdoor table.

Check out the trailer with co-star Jennifer Aniston if you missed it! The film opens across the country on March 19.

10+ pictures inside of Gerard Butler looking Starbucks sexy in Aspen…

That man cannot stay away from a Starbucks not even in Aspen :lmao:

I wish he would leave his hair alone!!!! It's just too short. makes his face look too full! Maybe because the jacket is so bulky but not my favorite pics!

Glad he's having a good time though...guess he didn't go home after all!

 Frannie

P.S. Can you tell I don't like his hair short ...at least not anymore! :p

His hair is in Tomb Raider mode! I'll bet it's short for his next film so maybe he'll be wearing fake hair for that. It's always easier to wear wigs when your own hair is really short. I don't know.

Anyway, love his jacket! One of mine is white with blue and red piping. Our tastes are similar I guess. That one looks like one of those that the sleeves zip out and then you have a vest. I found, however, when skiing in white, you blend in more and sometimes people don't see you as easily. I used to wear white pants too so I wore a black cowboy hat so people would stop running in to me on the slopes.

Wonder how he likes the slopes here compared to Europe. I've never skiied in Europe but I hear that they are more natural and while we do a lot of grooming of our runs, mostly for insurance purposes I'm sure, most other resorts outside of the US aren't as careful and you can be skiing along and hit a rock pretty easily or run in to a really bad area.

I'm glad Gerry's hanging around in Aspen. Seems like he's enjoying himself, even though he has a bit of a grumpy look on his face in a couple of the pics. Wish we'd get some of him skiing! I'd like to check out his "form", if you know what I mean. :cunning:

Well my guess is he might have just been trying to get all the dyed hair cut off, there was still some bits left in Dubai so then he can just leave it alone for the next few months until whatever they decide to do with the hair for Coriolanus, if they haven't already decided, however if they are going to set it in 1930s Nazis Germany the tendency is of course to short hair, remembering Ralph in Schindler's list, he had the longish on top with the shaved sides thang going on, also prominent in Germany at the time.

And yes you don't want to get lost in the snow or in the mountains with a white ski jacket in Aspen but at least the ski pants are navy.

He doesn't look like he's been skiing much. If he had, should he have a "ski tan", you know the one where all your face is tanned except where you wear your goggles? Maybe he's just enjoying the place with the family. Maybe I am wrong, don't know much about skiing. The boots look new too.

Maybe they thought, if we're gonna have a white Christmas, we might as well go to a ski resort instead of being snowed in at home in Scotland.

And don't hate me, but I so love the hair, Stranger/Terry look, yummy. When I saw the HTTYD interview, the hair looked a bit too tendy for my taste, the kind of style some male models have after spending hours and hours in front of the mirror with all their hair products. Gerry is more masculine than that and I'm glad he's staying that way.

Also don't you think he looks a bit thin, at least judging from the legs? Not judging, just saying, love the way he looks lately. I wonder what look they're going for with Coriolanus? After all he will be playing a general. I hope he doesn't have to beef up too much as in Gamer.

You're probably right about the hair dye thing, Lav, cause his hair will have grown out anyway by the time they start filming. He looks good no matter what, to me. I'm not sure if I could picture Gerry bald however.

Also, ski passes are worn on the jacket usually hanging from the zipper and they are usually purchased for at least three or more days, unless that's changed in the last few years. Maybe he doesn't ski in that jacket. But the wind burn thing your talking about may or may not happen and if he wears a ski mask, which some do you know the kind that robbers wear, that would protect the entire face. I don't think the boots were his because he isn't carrying them. They may have been that other dude's.

He has a bump on his head!!! Please Gerry, be careful.

I like the pics of him talking to the guy. I love to see his smile.

We have no idea why he cut his hair other than, maybe he wanted to? I like the theory about the dye, but really it doesn't matter. His hair is back to it's normal color - that's all that matters. :wuv:

He looks good and healthy.

Some times a cigar is just a cigar and a haircut is just that-a haircut for no reason other then not wanting to bother much with his hair while on vacation. I figured at some point the paparazzi were going to catch up with him in Aspen; there are so many notables that go to Aspen over the holidays the paps are usually hanging around. I would surmise this trip has been planned in advance, I don’t think one turns up in Aspen on impulse over the holidays with family in tow and expects to find a place to stay.

Probably a good thing he doesn't have ski tan, needs to be protecting that "asset" with good sunblock and/or covering that face totally to avoid frost bite/wind burn.

I had to go back to work one time looking like a raccoon and the wind burn makes your face look more purple then turning tan. The tan comes in from the sun, if it's shining! There's a pic somewhere of me with it. Wish I could figure out how to post it! It's hilarious and I'm wearing the white jacket too!

Anyway, back to Gerry. I would suspect that maybe he doesn't own his own equipment unless he skis alot. I've loaned my stuff out so much, I don't even know where it is! He probably rented or borrowed from a friend or perhaps he never even hit the slopes. Aspen is an experience in itself and just being in the ambiance is exciting. I'll bet sometimes actors might be advised against engaging in dangerous sports just before they start a new film.

So, I'm about to leave for work but could just keep driving instead and be in Aspen this afternoon...who votes for me skipping work to go on a snowy Gerry adventure?!

Leslie

If you take I-70, you might be OK going through Glenwood Springs but the pass is probably so closed! But hey, I'd do it if I was there in a heartbeat!

He has a bump on his head!!! Please Gerry, be careful.

You think he has a bump on his head?? Are you talking about on the right side above his eye? Could be! Did Gerry do a face plant!"

Well you know, I kinda thought that it looked like that but I guess I was looking at other places, if you know what I mean. Our poor Gerry! He needs to be careful! I, too, had a huge one a few weeks ago after falling half way down an embankment in St. Lucia. I didn't even know it was there until I looked in the mirror but I have hair to cover it.

Skiing is a dangerous sport! I've taken a few spills that were terrifying and fortunately never broke anything. It's the trees you've got to look out for and the ski lift poles or colliding with other skiers or them with you! Although I'd love to have "collided" with him and land in a soft snow bank, we could have cushioned each other's fall. :cunning: Ahh....sigh!

Lisa i noticed the "bump" too but it looks more like the area where that "pluke" comes up every so often :lmao: That same pluke that I noticed for the first time at RnR London premiere and in a flash he was gone - most people look into his eyes the first time - all i saw was the only imperfection I had ever seen on him :rotflmao: . I was so glad I saw him again after that or that pluke may have been the lasting impression I have of him

I think the haircut does make him look more fuller face like he did at Comic Con but he is still hot :wuv: It could just be the camera angle. I do like the "Terry" look so no complaints from this corner :wuv: :wuv:

I hope he has had a well earned rest and enjoyed all Aspen has to offer. I get the impression you dont need to go skiing to have a great time there.

Why should he? it's good stuff!hence the reason there is a empty Starbucks cup in my car right now as I type(have to clean my car out today)

His coat looks warm...I have one similiar to that in off white.

If he has a goose egg,he'll be fine, all he needs to do is ice it....and there IS snow there. Hand full of snow to the head.:)

I do, I do! Seriously, you're within driving distance from G and you're thinking about it? What's the matter with you Gal? How big can Aspen be? Go for it! :-)

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I think there is an insurance clause. I remember when George Michael was touring in the past, he was banned from a lot of things for about three months prior to the date the tour was planned to start. Same thing for his partner in Wham!, Andrew Ridgeley, who loved to race.
