Toronto Sun - Butler jokes about s** with dragon

Loved the article! I really enjoy reading articles like these especially because you really see this big kid in there and its very endearing. I also loved that he mentioned the Disney movies he did, those are still some of my favorites. The older Disney films always have been my favorites, except movies like Beauty & the Beast and The Little Mermaid which aren't as old in comparison.

I love the picture.

“The Jungle Book " that’s the one that sticks in my memory, so much so it’s blocking all the rest out. When it came out " because we didn’t have as many movie theatres in Scotland as we should have " I went to the movies three times before I could get in because it was sold out every time. Then when I did get in, I watched it four times. It was a big thing for me.

“Now you’ve got me all sad because remembering those movies " like Dumbo or Pinocchio " brings up such emotions from my childhood. Because you don’t just remember the movies " you remember who you were, where you lived and what you were doing.â€

Oh! *sniff* The Jungle Book is my favorite as well! Our generation grew up with those Disney movies. And he's right. My very first movie I ever saw in the theater was Dumbo and I saw it at Radio City Music Hall with my grandmother. And my oldest son's first movie that I took him to was ... The Jungle Book.

:wuv: Now I want to watch it ...

Awww nice little interview. Good find Theresa.

I remember I used to watch Dumbo all the time. I used to get upset. I felt so sorry for poor little Dumbo. One of my favs though, was Robin Hood - with the foxes. I always wanted to be Maid Marian...

Dumbo is a very Phantomish story. I love that movie! Who doesn't shed a tear when mama sings, "Baby mine."

My sis was CRAZY about Jungle Book. She had the record and played it all the time. Nice to know that Gerry is a Disney kid at heart.

The whole interview was cute, but the last line was heart-melting. I'm constantly amazed by how he can be so insightful in just a few words... and in a situation where that wasn't necessarily sought.

How can we not love this man? We never had a chance... :wuv:

I remember weeping while watching Dumbo. It must have stuck with me because I'd sing that song, "Baby Mine" to my Kids when they were little babies.

(Speaking of Disney, I'm headed that way later this week, to Disney World with the family...I've never been there. I may have to break down and get some mouse ears for the little ones.)

Poor Gerry and the stories about his Co-stars. He laughs it off quite well.

Oh great little article, thanks for it!

Ahh Gerry likes the classics that we grew up with! It is nostalgic to remember when you first saw a Disney movie.

My first Disney movie in a theater was Mary Poppins. Loved it. Love the Jungle book and its music!

You know, come to think of it, I think Mary Poppins was my first Disney flick at the movies!

"You know you can say it backwards which is, dotiousallyespiesticfragycallyrupus, but that carrying it bit too far, don't you think?" :music:

I think the first Disney film I ever saw in theaters was Aladdin when I was about 5 years old. I`m only 22 sorry, those old school films were before my time. I`ve seen those movies though and I love them, just on dvd haha.

That is sweet. I myself am sentimental & movies & music always remind me of moments in my life.

Now that I think about it, I believe Jungle Book was the 1st movie I went to see & it was actually at the Drive-In Theater. My aunt & her boyfriend took me.

Life was simple back then.

The Little Mermaid was my Disney movie. It came out when I was about 4, I saw it theatres, and worshiped my personal VHS copy. I also used to put my dive ring around my ankles to hold my legs together and swim around in the pool as a mermaid.

Also, it was the last animated Disney movie to be drawn completely by hand! Trivia!

I need to transition my Disney collection to DVD... I still have them all in those big bulky VHS. Except, I don't have a VHS player to my name, so they're all sitting at my parents in North Carolina.

Silly Disney releases their animated classics so rarely!

I have a bunch of the Disney movies on dvd form, I love when they release in that form. I have Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, Peter Pan, the Little Mermaid to name a few. Its fantastic because the have all these amazing special features, plus they restore color and sound to make everything look and sound sharp and really pop.

I remember the first Disney movie I saw. I was around 4 and it was Cinderella. We got all dressed up, because it was showing in one of the good theaters "downtown" Philly. And we were given a "glass" slipper to take home! And the darn thing fit me! I loved pretending that I was Cinderella and the prince was gonna come and take me away. Come to think of it, maybe Gerry is that prince? But I'm afraid I can't just be taken away now. (Except, of course, in my dreams....)

Ahhh yes. I think that no matter how strong, independent, or together a woman is, there's always a part of her that wants to be swept off her feet and rescued! I myself have been waiting on Gerry for a few months now... :watchclock:

Oh wow. The Jungle Book was my first movie I saw at a theatre. Dumbo is also an endearing nickname for my brother. Talk about flashbacks! I know the feeling about travelling down memory lane, it's not as nice and reminscing and it seems at first, then you hit the memories that make you go "what happened to those days, and why isn't it so simple NOW?"

Now I'm making myself sad. Lol.

“There is validation when you’re asked to do an animated voice because it’s your voice they want, not how you look. It doesn’t happen everyday ...

I most assuredly want his voice every day... I love "aural" sex! Right, Deb?! Posted Image
