I remember as a kid, when nothing could hurt me, and now, I'm constantly battling one sports injury or another... and I'm only 25. Hope he heals fast!! Looks like he's been training again so he may have reawakened it with that or something else. It's whale season. That's my guess. Take it from someone who's been there at this time of year. January to March/April is a great time to see them. When the heck would he have found time to learn to fly? He may have been with someone flying him in a private plane. Craig Ferguson flies and he's bugged Gerry to go fly with him so maybe Craig flew him down and Gerry sat next to him or he could have let him take the controls for fun. It's not difficult but landing is the hardest part. Anything's possible! I think I saw a masseuse there. Maybe Gerry's old rotator cuff injury was acting up and he got a bit of a manipulation. Although, I hate to say that the one w/ the black bandage looks awfully good too. I hate to say that since he is obviously in pain, but damn.....he still looks good! Rubee815 Posted February 8, 2010 Report Share Posted February 8, 2010 Well he mentioned taking a flying lesson last fall when he guested on CF's show but it takes a lot of hours of flying time get certified, let let alone flying solo and landing a plane. And yes this is whale season on the Pacific Coast. I doubt that Gerry and company would waste time checking out the paparazzi boats with binoculars and telescopes. What a wonderful vacation! JMHO, but I highly doubt he flew his own plane. Usually when people fly to someplace they don't say "I flew on a plane." You just say, "I flew to Mexico".
