becozy
to Will for sending this to GALS! patsyb
Thanks Barb. I saw the movie yesterday and loved it. It's a fun film ... Gerry has great comedic timing and the banter back and forth with Jennifer Aniston is very enjoyable. I'll be seeing it again next week. The negativity surrounding this movie from Day 1 of shooting has been deplorable. The end result, IMO, is a happy film which helps to pass the time in a pleasurable way. Shakespeare it isn't ... but then have that coming next year.
karenb
My husband and I just got home from seeing TBH and we loved it.It is everything Gerry said it would be.I just wish the critics would lighten up when it comes to movies like this that are fun and entertaining.Gerry and Jennifer were adorable together. phoenixgirl
I have Stephanie in my house! We're gonna go see TBH in an hour. I got an email from The People's Choice asking which of the 4 new releases are you most excited to see this weekend? Guess which one is in the lead!!! http://www.peopleschoice.com/pca/polls/pol...pollId=49200134
lovetheeloquence
Well, I ended up not having to work this afternoon so I went to see it. Don't have a single reason I can give you for being skeptical as to whether I'd like it or not before I went to see it. Duh...Gerard Butler is in it so it had to be great, right? But let me just say this... I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT!!!!! I like it so much better than The Ugly Truth, and I liked that, too. But there is just something so much better about Bounty Hunter. And Jennifer Anniston and Gerry are both great in it and great together. In fact, I may go see it again tonight! Just had to chime in. You will love it...Gerry's done himself proud again. No, it's not Shakespeare, we'll have that coming along later, and that's great. But it's just a fun, well-done, "makes you smile" romantic adventure/comedy...just like it is supposed to be! PS..Gerry was a doll in this one!

shirsan
I just got home from seeing BH. I sat thru it twice and if I didn'h have plans for tonight I would have bought another ticket. IT IS GREAT. Of course, it would have to be, Gerry is the star, but it was really good. I laughed almost as much as I did in TUT. Gerry is perfect, as usual, Jen if good, Jason is his usual funny self, and all the other characters do a wonderful job backing up this team. Like I always say, Gerry never disappoints me. I can't wait to share this with friends when it comes out on DVD as well. I'll see this many more times in the theater, as many as funding will allow. Love him absolutely, always, Sandy
GBPhanatic
Just got back from seeing BH and OMG it was hilarious! I loved it! Gerry was adorable in this! You think the plaid shirt is bad, wait until you see what he wears later! He did a great accent! He sounded very New York, the Bronx, Brooklyn, OK I know those are all different but he pulled it off pretty well! The only sad part was what happened to that beautiful car! Hope they fixed it up and gave it to Gerry! Delene
milol
Delene, you didn't like his outfit later - ha, ha, - well at least we got to see those beautiful legs....he is quite perrrrrrrrrfect...... I thought all of the supporting cast were good - I can't wait to go back tomorrow.. Linda

Linda Yeah, I LOVED it, especially when my husband leaned over to me and asked, "didn't I used to have a shirt just like that?" He did and I'm sure I picked it out! I used to call him the "Good Humor Man" when he wore it! Delene
Adoring
EXCELLENT MOVIE!! I didn't any follow press about it, just the previews and am so glad about that. Jen and Gerry were funny, athletic, and adorable together. It looks like it was a ton of fun to make, and that came through both of them. I was expecting a funny romantic comedy and watched an action packed, fun, great story-line comedy-drama. Gerry and Jen should become the new Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks duo. Great chemistry - wonderful - love them both!! Adorable and Charming movie!!! It was his best comedy yet!!!!
Rendita
Okay, I've seen this 3 times now. I have to tell you........Gerry in those shorts is worth the price of the ticket. I crack up every time. Sorry Gerry. DON'T buy those! Unsurprisingly Milo is my favorite part of the movie. I actually liked it better the 2nd & 3rd times I saw it, but the 1st time was a midnight movie, so that might have been why. I'm going back w/ another friend tomorrow. ETA: The audiences do seem to be enjoying the movie. There's a lot of laughter throughout. Edited March 20, 2010 by Rendita
framolamdu
The critics have been a bit harsh as the film is not as bad as they are making out. Perhaps because I am such a fan of Gerry's and can see so many of the things we know and love about him that it blinkers my perceptions who knows Gerry 100% made this film worth seeing. He has been unfairly bashed in reviews and if anyone saves this film it is him but i guess im a bit biased and blinkered . Jen is just the usual Jen for me but they spar well together and looked like they had alot of fun making the movie. This is one of those movies I call enjoyable popcorn trash as its a fun way to spend a couple of hours without it being too taxing on yer brain . Lets face it the story is not exactly original, we've seen it done many times before and the humour was pretty stupid but it was still entertaining - for me anyway - purely because of Gerry's performance. I did laugh out loud when he went into Nic's house and did the things he did. He looked so hot in the dinner scene even with what he was wearing only he could pull off that outfit and still look and yes Ren i expect the fans will love that scene the best. His eyes were absolutely stunning in alot of the scenes I still wish they hadn't dyed his hair so dark because if they had allowed his salt n peppa well And what was the idea of the bar blocking the view shame on them If Gerry had looked this good in TUT; which I personally enjoyed more; he'd have gone through the roof. I'd class the film as an action comedy with a hint of romance and certainly not a romcom like TUT was so if it has been pushed as a romcom it has maybe confused the critics I've seen it twice and the audience seemed to enjoy it more in my 2nd screening going by the amount of laughs it got. Would I have enjoyed this movie if it had another leading man - depending on who but probably not Moira
Rendita
You're right Moira, there are several shots/scenes where Gerry's eyes look really stunning, even in dim lighting. I'd also agree that I don't think it's particularly a rom com, definitely more action comedy. I do love him in the dinner scene & the scene right after standing outside their door. The scene where she's "seducing" him is pretty sexy too. The longer scene is much better than what you see in the clips. Right after he said "That would be my gun", I heard the guy behind me say "He's really good". The scene in Nic's house is cute. Looked like Nacho Cheese Doritos to me. phoenixgirl
Just got back ... I went with Steph and Jason. It was very cute. Gerry had all the best lines and expressions; Jen was cute and sexy. There were many great lines delivered - loved the sea turtle thing. I LOVED Gerry in the crazy outfit. So funny. I don't know what else to say about it. It's pretty much like every other movie just like it. I love a bit of slapstick and sarcastic one-liners. I do want to see it again. Steph and I made a lot of noise during the movie (shades of first time we saw TUT, Moria and Ren!). So we're gonna go see it again tomorrow for the noon showing. I did laugh a lot, mostly at Gerry. Oh I have to comment on the towel scene - made me think, "Jackie Jr. who????" I thought I would explode right there in the seat. WOWEE. That man has the most gloriously delicious body EVER! Jen was Jen = Rachel. Sorry. That's just how I see her. I wish I could get that out of my head and see her as a movie actress. By the way ... we came out and Jason said, "He has nice arms." Truth is truth. ETA: Definitely Nacho Cheese Doritos. LOL Edited March 20, 2010 by phoenixgirl

heISmyGspot
Despite the horrible editing/directing flaw involving a proper snog and a FECKING JAIL POST, I loved it! It was one giant SCREEN CAP! I can't wait for this to come out on DVD and I REALLY can't wait to see if they include some kind of blooper reel! Will DEFINITELY be going for multiples! Ready, Bex?! phoenixgirl
One giant screen cap! SO TRUE! The towel scene ... yowza! Maybe on this one we'll get a commentary from him. I also wanted to add that I totally prefer The Ugly Truth. I think Gerry's acting was better (actually very similar - I saw a lot of Mike Chadway in Milo); he looked better and he had better chemistry with Kathrine than Jen. I saw TUT about 6 times in the theater, and I don't think I'll do that with BH. Another thing ... I really hope he stays away from these types of movies for a while. It will make him some money (as will HTTYD which was so much better), and now I feel he should focus on making movies that are more worthy of his talent. Aussie_Stace
I saw it Thursday afternoon, so I had to wait for you lot to see it before I could say anything I thought it was a musical! I absolutely adored the songs in it! I was singing along!! The movie was funny - I laughed all the way through it (starting from the very first scene!!) I didn't expect that towel scene to last for sooooooooooooooooooooo long! I had two young girls sitting behind me & I'm pretty sure I heard one let out a massive sigh! One guy behind me LOVED Teresa - he laughed at every single thing she said...or did!! I loved the fact that Milo still had a heart when Nicole started crying. Instead of wanting to give her a hug, I wanted to give him one! Wasn't quite sure about the ending though I can't wait for it to come out on DVD - I'm hoping there's a gag reel Edited March 20, 2010 by Aussie_Stace
mommaduck
Just got home from my first, but not last, time seeing TBH and I LOVED it, just as I knew I would! In fact a group from around the state are getting together at noon tomorrow to see it and I am looking forward to seeing some out-of-town friends. It is wonderful how Gerry brings us together. A few years ago Gerry told us fans that he would try to never disappoint us with his movies and also that he would keep on making movies and hoped we would keep on coming to see them! He has kept his word, for sure, and we will try to do our part! Love you, Gerry, now, then, and always! Judy
