In looking at this list of characters that GB has played, one can see his acting versatility and his inclination to challenge himself. It was difficult to choose a favorite character because they are so very different and well done! Hard to wait to see his new ones.

I love KING LEONIDAS for his moral values, his integrity as a king, and for his unselfishness: he sacrifices himself for the sake of his reign, his ancestors and the continuity of his people.

King Leonidas is the representation of the perfect king, the one whose acts are the most honoable a character of a superior position could ever pursue. This is objective performance of ancient greek philosophy, and Gerry does it magically: he is noble in all of his expressions, yet the burden of being responsable for each step a king must take is sensed in his face, voice, eyes, breath, moves.

If ever nowadays monarchs and politicians could get that close...
