His hair now reminds me of MGP hair! Maybe that's why he's leaving it long ....to finish up some scenes in the US! Oh....he looks HHHHHHOT!

It doesn't look as fluffy as it did at the APJ dinner. Maybe it's just gelled back.

Personally, I love it all fluffy like on 110510. He looks so good with it

long and fluffy.

I don't think it's cut; I think it's styled like a normal hair style and he looks a million times sexier than last Friday. Sorry - my opinion. :)

Frannie, you know I'll bet you're right! That just might be why he's leaving it MGP length! Good point!

I like the swept back look that reveals some of that "natural" color at the roots. I'm not gonna say gray because sure as I do, he'll get out the box "Just For Men" again! :spit: Although, in keeping with Frannie's thought, Sam's hair was pretty gray. Maybe it would be natural for him to let it grow out a bit.

Great new pics!

I think this is the best he's looked in a while (not that he could ever look bad). The longer length, not mussed, and the longer beard look fabulous on him. I don't think the still camera always adequately captures his beauty, but every one of these is great. I also like the bit of auburn in his hair. I still wonder if that isn't for "Burns".

I found this interview with Gerry talking about Burns. I'm not sure when the interview was done or if it's already been posted previously. The video says December of 2009 but then they talk about Beowulf and Grendal which would put the interview back longer ago wouldn't it? Ren, help me out here.

He talks about the "angle" that they've decided to take on it and I do believe we heard once before that the story was going to lean more towards Burns' sexual escapades then his artistry as a poet. I, for one, think that would be a mistake and wouldn't do the character justice or set an example of how Scotland feels about Robert Burns, but I'm just one opinion.

Since I don't know when this interview was actually done, and the Burns project still seems to be in a state of limbo, anyone's guess is as good as mine at this point. I'm still hoping for it and I'm also hoping it will be done with all elements of his life, something akin to the movie they did about Beethoven in "My Immortal Beloved" with Gary Oldman. That one was not specifically about his life as composer but the center focus was about the secret love of his life and the other women he loved too but it showcased his musical compositions so beautifully as well. In essence, it was a love story about the famous composer. That's one of my favorite all time movies and Gary is one of my all time fav actors.

As much as I would love to see Gerry play Burns and play him sexy, complete with love and sex scenes included, in good taste that is, I hope it doesn't focus on just his sexual conquests as the driving point. I know Burns was a passionate man and loved the ladies but his poetry reflects so much more about his deeper inner soul and passions.

It's endearing though how passionate Gerry is (and a bit hyper) in the interview and that ACCENT is to die for! Just think he needed to cut down a little bit on the caffeine that day! :doh:
