Gerry Addicted Lust Syndrome (GALS) continued

Anna, I know what you mean about husband's not throwing anything out. Gene had so much junk, crap, uh....stuff that he couldn't find whatever he was looking for anyway and went to the store for ANOTHER ONE! :(

Gotta love them, though.

Well, I have to confess that between me and Dan'l...I was the culprit. He even said to me once "my dear, make me a deal....you will NOT bring another purse or pair of shoes into this house without getting rid of one purse and pair of shoes.."

....say WHAT? WHO ME??? :flee:

Anna, I had so much fun with you on skype the other day......Michael must think I'm crazy...lol

hugs to all.

love,

Sue

Hi GALS,sorry I have been away so long. The boys are running me ragged lately.I have went from getting online 2-3 times a day to only once at night. And then I have fb and twitter on my cell.*YAWN*...I'm a bit tired. The boys just go,go,go,go,go lately...well..like little boys do.I worked out with my bestie today...and then tilled up another garden spot(dug out all the weeds, broke up dirt clumps with my hands etc....) and planeted some more stuff. Thus far I have beets, carrots, lettuce, onions, green onions, leeks, tomatoes, bell peppers and banana peppers.

Frannie,*BIG GIGANTIC GENTLE HUGS* I am so sorry you are feeling bad.You will be in my prayers.

Tanya,welcome...I am Andrea...I have had intermittent GALS since 2005,but it became terminal in 2009.Watching 300 helped me cope with the anger of my divorce...I'd just watch a halfway clad King Leonidas go to war instead of me.lol Of course...the half naked part didn't hurt the situation lol ;)

Do you know,I don't think I have a mopboy...how could I have been here for 2 years and not have a mop boy or one of those trading card thingies.hmmm.

Stacey32, I'm getting them a few at a time. I just bought 300. I haven't seen it yet but I will. I think next I'm going to get Tomb Raider 2

Andrea, Hi! I haven't seen 300 yet and apparently with the half naked part..I don't know what I'm missing! I shall have to remedy that immediately. Ooh, you should definitely get yourself a mopboy. It was so hard for me to decide between all of Gerard's characters.

Hi there Galfriends....old and new.....I do sometimes forget my manners, but I do envy the newbies just starting out on the adventure that is Gerry Butler! :welcome1:

I would love to post some of my favourite Gerry photographs but I don't have them all upload at present so please someone do the honours!

Sue, Mac already knows we are all crazy, next time we should wear an Easter bonnet when we Skype, we could set a new trend...Gosh! Me trendy?....well I never! That also means you Suzie and Elissa.

Congratulation Susan on the new job, must be a great relief to you, Way to Go Galfriend!

Andrea I will not be planting vegatables in my tiny cottage garden this year. The children decided to have a Garden Club at my home last year, we planted seeds and had fun but their Daddy decided it would be better to leave the grown plants in my garden....after all they are here everyday after school. Trouble was we had planted too many seeds and raised too many plants!

Posted Image

Kathy I must go and post some new photographs of the children. And catch up on Golden Gals Barbara!

Another glorious sunny day here, I'll be in the garden if anyone wants me, boy did I enjoy :leo: last night, Tanya he's :thud: fantastic as King Leo.

Big hugs to all,

take care,

Anna X

 SpartanGirl!!! I'm so glad to see you here! Welcome to the support center....grab a chair....have a :Gerritas: and tell us about yourself. My name is Sue and I live in Northern California (USA). I've been in love with the GerBear since seeing him in Phantom of the Opera when it first came out. My dear hubby thought I had lost my mind but after a while he came to realize that while Gerry might have been the one to bring me to GALS it was the friendships and sisters I made here that kept me here (even though I still :pantingheart: Gerry). And when he got sick (I lost him to cancer 2 summers ago) he (and I) thanked God for all of my dear friends here who supported not only me but him as well. He was blown away by the love and caring of the women on this site. I have a grown son who has blessed me with my two bright and shining stars, B2 (who will be four next month) and Fynnigan (who is 1 1/2 years old), my grandsons. I also have 3 step daughters whom I am so thankful for. They are truly the daughters of my heart (I've been their mom for the past 35 years after all...lol) and they have blessed me with 10 more grandchildren (all of whom are now grown) and a few great grandchildren. Yeah, I'm that old....lol....no, not really. My Dan'l was married VERY young and he was 13 years older than I ... so I was actually a grandma in my 20's.

I love all of Gerry's roles, but my heart still belongs to Marek (with Gerry Kennedy running ALMOST tie)....lol....him being Irish and all. Maybe you can tell by my screen name that I am Irish. I was born in New York but to a very Irish family!!!

Anyway, again, :welcome: and to the support center.

hugs,

Sue

I will Andrea.....poor little guy...

And all my support sisters...please remember our Frannie in your prayers. For those of you who do not go to the prayer threads....you know what a hard time Frannie has been having recently with her health and now she has lost her son Tommy. He was killed today in a car accident. I am still trying myself to come to terms with this devastating news. My heart just hurts...that's all I can say. I just wish I was with Frannie to give her a hug in person and be by her side.

love,

Sue

Sue...You know I have been praying since I have heard the news. I am so worried about Frannie. How much more can this poor girl handle in her life. I'm just sick about it. I heard Tommy just celebrated his three year wedding anniversary. This is just too tragic all around. God bless Frannie and give her the strength to handle this. I am also saying prayers for Bobby who is certainly devastated as well. They have both been through so much.

Andrea...I will say a prayer for your youngest boy as well. Bless his heart!

( I dont really know you people yet but still I want to give her my condolences :comfort: )

And Sue, about me.

You may call me Denise.

Im 21 year old, autistic ( ow no's! ).

I like anime and manga ( you know, japanese cartoons and comics ),

ancient cultures ( I liked to think that in the past everything was better... but Id probably take it back if I had to build a piramide 24/7. ) FOOD (Donuts , macaroni with cheeeese ), AND OF COURSE GERRY. :drink:

What I do all week...

I take sewing classes to create cosplay costumes ( you know, I run around like a character from some japanese cartoon or video game on a nerdi convention )

Sport ( only once a week because its from the same organisation as the sewing classes and Im limited to 4 parts a week ) I just bought WII fit to get in shaaape. ( six pack COME TO ME )

I work 20 hours a week. (packing stuff and all sorths of boring stuff like that )

my plans:

Im planning to go to this buddhist temple to meditate and to join a fighting sport.

HOOOOOWEEEEVER this will all mean... I have no time for a puppy.

So there goes my idea of getting a chihuahua puppy.

In weekends im at my parents. ( my mom and stepdad )

I have one older sister... who just had her birthday yesterday lol.

and my parents own ALOOOOOOOOOT of animals.

( about 10 cats... 2 dogs, 4 ferrets and 2 rats ) people call my mom the cat lady. LOL

Like I said in the other thread, I know Gerry since 300.

And I was like OMG when I saw him in another movie.

( You know going from a MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD Spartan king with alot of beard to some sexy guy with a cute smile )

*nosebleed*

I dont know what else to say, im not really a interesting person. XD

 Denise!!! I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond....I'm still pretty much in shock over Frannie's son Tommy's death. You see we GALS here in the support center become very close. Frannie is a very VERY dear friend of mine and I'm just at a loss as to what I can do to help her....so forgive me for not responding sooner.

The fact that you are autistic does not mean "ow no" at all my dear young friend. You see you give me great hope because my precious grandson B2 was diagnosed as autistic when he was two.

He has been in personal therapy and goes to special school five days a week and he is doing so good and he is not even four yet. So please don't worry about that. OK?

And you sound very interesting to me. Posted Image

hugs to all my friends as well.

love,

Sue

Dear friends,

I had to stop by as I knew there would be a prayer thread for Me Lady.

I'm so very sad for her loss and all the heartache she is in and will be.

I find comfort in the knowledge that all you gals are so very special and will embrace her with prayers and thoughts.

All my love, Eva Mari

Eva Mari....So good to see you here again. Wish it were under different circumstances though. You can be sure we will all do what we can to help Frannie through this tragedy.

Sue...LOVE the epics of B2. He is so adorable, especially in the pool. What was he reacting to? I can only guess. LOL!!

ginnywhit....SO TRUE!! Gerry does get better and better with age!! *SIGH*
