Oh well ... if it's that naughty maybe I'll leave it for Kathy or Anya or Jill .... lol. Remembering my vanilla status and that along with EM I'm a prude (cough cough).

Hi Jill! When are you going to come see me?

Well, a little about what's going on in my life these days. I'm so broke trying to get this house the way I want it....and in some cases NEED IT. Like I just discovered with our first heavy rains the my rain gutters need looking into. As well as something is not right with the garage side door (water gets in)..... :hmm: I had almost decided to forego the convention this year and now Sam is coming. :tissues: I'm having to rethink my budget again.

Danna's trial which was suppose to start yesterday has been delayed once again...now it is suppose to start on April 23rd but I'm not holding my breathe. (another reason I'm having to consider not attending this years convention). I have however decided that it is time to take some kind of action. In my small county alone 21 of the 30 murders committed in 2011 were from domestic violence. I'm meeting with the executive director and a board member of an organization named SafeQuest Solano next week. There is no shelter in my town and a group of us who have lost a loved one to domestic violence have decided it's time to do something about that.

My grandsons have continued to keep me busy (thank you Lord). If I go a week without seeing them now it's too long!

So come on....what's going on with everyone...how is 2012 stacking up so far?

hugs to all.

love,

Sue

Sue, you so should treat yourself to that convention, - in that way I feel a little bit there as well.

Loving the pictures of B2 and Fynn with the book - oh you are SO lucky having them close by!

Praying for a just outcome of the trial.

And I must say I'm quite shocked that NONE of you have commented on the link in my last post. And you say you have GALS? :hmm:

Well EM, I'm kinda partial to these feet:

http://barefoot.prov...w/gerard_butler

OH WAIT, I gave Kathy the feet :tantrum:

Oh EM, I forgot to say how much Fynnigan LOVES that book in particular. We just about know if by heart now.....I have to read it to him at least 10 times a day when he is here....and I have to (GWANDMA, YOU HAVE TO!) make all the animal sounds when I read it and whisper at the end when all the animals are sleeping. :wuv:

I'll sacrifice Sue and trade Gerry's feet for his upper body!!! I'm such a good friend!!!!!! :lalala:

I so hope Danna's trial comes up in April FOR SURE!! Bless your heart for taking Danna's tragedy and making something positive out of it in hopes of helping others. Way to go girl!!!

Elissa, I'd love to know the story behind this book. It really sounds like the author is a fan of Gerry's. I have to check this book out because I'm not a prude. Either are EM or Sue

EM...That's a great collection of pics that you have there. I checked them all out!! I'm not a hand or feet gal I go straight for the real thing that counts where Gerry is concerned. Again... :lalala:

Anya...I will let you have first choice on the book on Amazon because you are new here.

You might want to read my copy first. What it lacks in plot it makes up for in, well, other things. :p

Thank you, Elissa, my lovely friend, and why else do you think we wanted to know the name of the book? Yes, the 'Other ........' Oops did I just say that?Posted Image

Just popping in to say hi! I think I've become somewhat of a stranger almost everywhere on the internet for the past several months. Lots of work (a good thing) but not much time to play (a not-so-good thing). But I'm still around, and I did get to see Gerry in Coriolanus on Sunday. It's in the same art cineplex where I got to see Dear Frankie so many times 7 years ago. Dang, I can hardly believe that was 7 years ago!! I'm also excited to see a non-Gerry film (blasphemy) - One for the Money with Katherine Heigl. I'm a huge fan of the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich and have been waiting for a movie to be made from the first book since the books were recommended to me over 10 years ago. I saw the very first audience screening of it a year ago and thought it was a decent job (though somebody tell me why I have an issue with an Irishman playing the Jersey Italian Joe Morelli when for years I pictured a certain Scotsman in that role???) Gotta run - work is calling my name again!

 Susan. Good to see you here! I'm glad you got to see Coriolanus. I wish I could have seen it. I don't understand the point of releasing a movie to only 9 theaters, but that's life, I guess.

Two movies (MGP and Coriolanus), back to back, and each opened in less than 10 theaters here. That's disgusting! Especially when both movies showed Gerry at his acting best. Now I hear PTF will not be coming out until the end of the year. This has got to hurt Gerry's career because out of sight means out of mind.

Susan...I'm so happy for you that you got to see Coriolanus.

Lu..Gerry is a big boy so you will need two gals to help you out. Since we are friends...I VOLUNTEER with Sue!!! Which do you want Sue, the upper or lower part of his body? I know, silly question, we all know what you would choose.

~HUGS~ Kathy

Posted ImagePosted Image GAL overload!!! By the way, only two girls?

Back to business. I acknowledge I have Gerry Addicted Lust Syndrome (GALS) and in need of therapy to nourish it :DPosted Image

Echoing Swannie -> I hope it'll be an amazing year for Gerry and his GALS

 This is my first visit to this thread (thanks for the suggestion, Sue). Can I get in on some of this action? Gerry's BOD :ohbaby:can definitely handle MULTIPLE :perverted: orga... (stops herself before she goes too far) GALS!! I'll take whatever is left for grabs (hehe) even a TINY part will do (buttery hollow perhaps?), I'm not picky!

PRETTY PLEASE?? Thanks ya!

Hi Susan,

Glad you were able to see Coriolanus - how did you like it? (I'm still searching for showings in my area with no luck so far).

I'm glad to find another Janet Evanovich fan - aren't the Stephanie Plum stories fantastic? Love Janet's style and am also looking forward to the movie. Agree 100%

with you about the Joe Morelli character! :cunning:

From one Kathy to the other - TOTALLY agree with you. I for one can't understand what is up with that! :tantrum:

BTW, LOVE your Siggy !:yummy:

Hi KathyG - yes, I love Janet's style, some of the things she writes literally make me LOL - especially the Grandma Mazur stuff, and the books that had Sally Sweet in them (remember Sally as Stephanie's white knight in the school bus?) I do think Debbie Reynolds is rather more attractive than I've ever pictured Grandma - I've always seen her as a human version of that Maxine cartoon character, or like Estelle Getty's Sophia in The Golden Girls. I have a Plum Crazy Cupcake tshirt I think I'll wear when I go to the movie (you could get Cupcake or Babe to designate whether you were more a Joe fan or a Ranger fan). I met Janet when she did a book signing here just a few months after I discovered her (the year book 8 came out) so my books through #8 are autographed! I haven't gotten to see her since then, she rarely comes to the west coast anymore and the last time she was here I was out of town.

BTW I am quite fond of YOUR siggy - I'm such a huge fan of Dear Frankie - my favorite movie of all time. In fact I'm thinking of going home and watching it tonight, it's been awhile.

Today, my precious little Teeny crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was with me for 14 years. She stood vigil over her daddy, Gene, when he was in a coma and was the first to kiss him goodby. I hope he is on the other side of the bridge waiting for her, because I don't want her to be scared. :tissues:

I'm so sorry Suzie to hear about Teeny's passing. I know Gene was waiting for Teeny on the other side of the bridge and they are both enjoying each other once again. Teeny is doing just fine.
