Abby...Those two new pics of your drawing are awesome!!! His eyes are looking right at me which gives his face life and it adds to the intensity of the look, so like that of the Phantom. GREAT JOB!!!! "Arwen" June is so right. The eyes hold the key to making the whole face come together correctly. June is an expert with eyes in her cross stitch pieces. Her eyes are perfect. Looks like yours are going to be perfect as well. :)

Abby, this is SO MUCH FUN!!! I have put all four of your pictures in my viewer and I just click on the arrow so each one pops up in order and I can see the changes made in the drawings quickly. It is like seeing the Phantom come to life right before my eyes. That last pic really shows how gorgeous this drawing is going to be when finished. You are doing a most impressive job on this drawing!!! Thanks so much for sharing the progress with all of us!

WOW!!! Abby, you have captured Gerry under that mask PERFECTLY!! It is just outstanding artistry!! I was thinking the same thing when I saw this new addition, I hope nothing happens to this work of art. Yes, practice and do some more practice but don't let your age get in the way. Talent comes at birth and you should focus your future on your art now. You are such a talent. I envy you!!

Abby, You have REALLY captured Gerry as the Phantom in that drawing. I get amazed at each pic you post. It is ERIK!! That look, that was in the original photo of him, has been captured perfectly in this drawing. That has to be hard to do but you, my talented friend, have done it. A beautiiful drawing!!

I've worked a bit more on the hair i am just putting layer on layer so it looks more realistic that's why it's taking so long but will soon be putting darker values on the hair and then i'm not looking forward to doing the clothes it's all so dark

I know the pic is bad but that's all i can do so hope its clear enough

He is looking SO GOOD, ABBY! Take your time, I know hair is hard and time consuming so don't feel pressure to hurry your art. You are doing a marvelous job!!!
