Other than the obvious straight guys who are members due to their wives being here, there are a few other guys who have posted from time to time. Don't know if you know this but Gerry's business partner and manager, Alan Siegel, is Gay and partner to designer, David Meister. Sadly, we don't get too much guy participation but I wish we had more. It's always fun to have the male perpective on Gerry and his career! Much better then my German, which is limited to one word "danke schoen" only because of the Wayne Newton song and I can sing "I Want To Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles in German and that's about it! There is a lot to catch up on around here so have fun! Know that you are in good company with your feelings for Gerry! We all adore him in our own way whether male or female. Its not an easy story. Anyway, it will come and i will tell you all. What got me was...well something feminine ( i know you may hate this) Gerry has. A butch man, yet looking/acting kinda soft too and has no fear with this. Something i can look up to. He is a real man, but also a big lost boy and also acting 'butch' but inside maybe he is as most unsecure men - softer. I love this. My role model to be the person you are. I am not sure if you can unerstand this ;-) Anyway, the film that got me was, of course, 300. But not cos he ran around hlf naked ectr. Just becuase its a film most man liked. Its cool, action and all this. Then i found out more from him and saw that silly person he sometimes is in interviews ectr. He looked so diff. than he was in the film. I fell in love with the picture, the way he laughs, thisbeer drinking pup image, the fun he has , the unmatureness, ectr. Like i am. One day, well...it hit me. i am truly desperatly in love with this man. Its not good and i thought i am over this with 28 now. But....sht, i dream each night and day, imagine storys with him and me...bla bla bla...as much as you all do. Now, i just moved into his apartment ;-) So, please leave me alone with gerry.hahhahaha well, i am happy i can talk with others about this. yet, it feels not easy for me. He's got that animal magnetism thing going on that makes a blind man see and a strong man weak and a GAL go all so we get it! I think the only one who doesn't understand it is poor Gerry himself! But it's not for him to understand it or question why, it's his job to just keep the Gerry juice flowing and allow us our fantasies! Oh and he's just a pretty good guy too and just as sweet as you can imagine and even hotter in person, if that's possible! Just asks the GALS who have met him! You have nothing to be ashamed of. And I totally understand. I have found myself attracted to a few female actresses over the years (Olivia Wilde?! HELLO!). Attraction is just that - attraction. I personally have no issue with sexuality, and I'm a pretty open book. I also think most of us will agree with you that there is a VERY soft side to Gerry. Not feminine, but the soft side of a man. That's part of this crazy pull to him that people of any gender, age, race, etc. have to to him. Gerry transcends it all. We have said for years that Gerry is a little boy wrapped in a very manly package. This fact makes him so much more attractive than any other man I've ever met. I am a teacher, and many of my male students really admire Gerry. I don't know if any of them have sexual feelings toward him, but it would be completely normal if they did. I think there are WAY MORE men who are attracted to Gerry than you know. Even if they're not out and gay, like I said, it's ok to feel an attraction to someone of the same sex, and I would bet money it happens more often than not. Gerry is an amazing man. I have been blessed to meet him, and he has male and female fans who greet him at personal appearances. Gerry also has many gay friends. Gerry's manager, Alan, married his long-term partner, David, a while back. I believe this is one fandom where gender and/or sexual preference doesn't mean a whole lot. All that matters is that we all love and respect Gerry. I'm really glad you're here. Eventually you'll find your comfort level with your sexuality, as well as figure out where you're at with it. In the meantime, enjoy your feelings for Gerry and you have a bunch of silly girls who get it. He's a brilliant, talented, compassionate, sweet, fun, adventurous man. Did I leave anything out? I just wanted to let you know you are in good company...300 is my favorite film of Gerry's. And, as you said, not because of his physique in the film. For me, I feel it's his most brilliant performance. His strength, emotion and demeanor as Leonidas is fabulous, beautiful and proud. Leonidas himself would be proud of how Gerry portrayed him in the film. There is a great deal to navigate around here. What you described is exactly how most of us feel and the effect Gerry had on us when we first discovered him. He has a universal effect. So don't be shy with your feelings, you are in a safe place where we all feel the same so we understand you. :-) I like what you said about Gerry's feminine side. I have thought of that myself too. I think he has said in a couple of interviews that he does embrace his feminine side and that was a difficult thing for him because he grew up in Scotland and that was not acceptable for men to do. He even has no problem crying in front of people. What's amazing about Gerry is that although he has embraced his feminine side, everything about him still remains very masculine and he is a guy's guy, he likes his football, a lot of the times he looks messy, etc. LOL! My female college's son, age 25 died in a car crash on thursday.Its one of the most horrorfiing experiences for me. I know this lady for 10 years since i started to study. She is like an angel..divorced and lives with her son alone. She is from russia...a teacher..such a wonderful person. Now one can help her now....and i saw her and many think..she is dying now...her soul her heart..nothing we can do. we have to watvh how she is dying. she is not at work now for many weeks...but no hour goes by we do not talk about her. what a cruel life....why does a mother have to experience this? i am so shocked and like n trance....
