Coriolanus Soundtrack due out May 1, 2012

Recommended Posts

The 2-CD release features the film's original score composed by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, Layer Cake) on one disc and will be mixed with dialogue highlights from Shakespeare's play on the second. The soundtrack will be released on May 1, 2012 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon.

Audio clips from the score will be added to their site in a couple of weeks. Coriolanus starring Ralph Fiennes, Gerard Butler, Vanessa Redgrave and Brian Cox is currently playing in limited release.

If you plan on purchasing this CD, please consider using the Amazon Link in the GALS Boutique so that GALS will get a few cents from the sale towards 'support' :ty:

Let me know if I got this right: the score and the soundtrack will be released in a single item, a double cd. Is that so?

I love the variety of the material, however I find it strange to release a double cd item, since the film itself is making little at the box-offices, what makes us think that few people would purchase the score, specially at the higher cost of a double cd... go figure!

Love from Brazil,

Karin
