Guidelines - Siggy's, Slices and Avatars

With the newly updated Forum we have new guidelines for signature sizes.

Signature Size at 600x300 for image with one line of text,

If more than one line of text is wanted, the signature image must be

sized smaller to make allowance to 600x275 and two lines of text after the image.

Also, please note...

the signature area isn't for links to advertising or to sites with inappropriate content (pharmaceuticals, adult or other sites).

No inappropriate images.

These will be edited by Mod Squad w/o notice to member.

You may link to your personal blog or website (as long as the content is PG) although there is an area for this information w/i your Member Profile area.

Signatures - For the sake of those on dial up we keep our siggy AREA no larger than

300pixels high x 600pixels wide with 1 line of text underneath it.

This means if your siggy is 300x600 pixels alone and 1 line of text - that takes up the complete siggy graphic area.

Any slice, spaces or 2 or more lines of text will only add to it and then it will be too large.

Please take that into consideration when you design or have a siggy made for you.

Also, PhotoBucket has the option of creating your own slideshow or animated signature.

Please choose the size small or medium so that it will fit within our guidelines.

Slices - The maximum size for slices are 100pixels high x 500pixels wide.

Avatars -The first or top avatar should be kept at 100pixels high x 100pixels wide.

The second or bottom avatar can be no larger than the trading card (120x160).

Please do not make it larger than this or it will throw off the alignment of the board.

GALS Trading Cards - 120pixels wide x 160pixels high.

Please remember our GALS Guidelines pertaining to content.

It can be tasty but tasteful.

Only photos in the GALS Gallery may be used in graphics on the GALS Forum, unless they have a notation otherwise.

I know many members use their siggies from GB.Net or other sites here, and those sigs may be up to 310x610.

Please PM me, and I will size your signature down for you.

It can be adjusted and clarified so when it is sized down, the

graphic does not blur or become distorted.
