Immunity Questions- Week 19

Each week (weeks 19-23) or until only 5 men remain, we will vote to eliminate one man from the game and will answer one Immunity Question, saying which man "fits" the question and WHY. Incomplete answers will not count. The man who is named as the "answer" to the Immunity Question in one week will be immune from elimination the following week. At the end of the Immunity Questions round of play, the surviving man with the most "wins" will receive an additional week of immunity at the conclusion of this round of play.

The thread is open to discussion about Gerry's characters, and why you love or dislike specific characters. Feel free to form alliances to save your favorites from elimination!

Voting will end each week on Sunday at 8pm Pacific time, 10pm Central time, and 11pm Eastern time. (No late votes will be accepted.)

Our previous champions are: Erik, the Phantom (Phantom of the Opera), Gerry Kennedy (P. S. I Love You), Andre Marek (Timeline), Attila (Attila), and Beowulf (Beowulf & Grendel). Please note that they are not included in this tournament. They are sharpening their weapons and gathering their arsenals in preparation for a Tournament of Champions, which will take place at a later date.

Eliminated last week was: Mike Chadway

Exile Island winners again last week were: Mike Banning and The Stranger (tie)- they are immune from elimination this week. Mike Banning had the most trips to Exile Island, therefore, he is immune next week as well.

Week 19 - Please make your vote very clear. For example: I vote to kick off (send home, boot off, eliminate, etc) Joe Blow. The answer to the Immunity Question is John Doe, BECAUSE.....Incomplete answers (those that give no reason) will not count.

In no specific order, here are our competitors: Please vote one off. Please answer this Immunity Question: Which man would be most likely to survive being lost in the wilderness with only a pocket knife and a canteen of water, and WHY? Please note that "because he's my favorite," "because I want him to win," etc. are NOT acceptable reasons! :duck:

Frosty Hesson- Chasing Mavericks

Sam Childers - Machine Gun Preacher

One-Two - Rock'n'Rolla

Mike Banning- Olympus Has Fallen - Immune

The Stranger - Dear Frankie - Immune

Terry Sheridan - Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life

Johnnie Donne - The Jury

Clyde Shelton - Law Abiding Citizen

King Leonidas - 300

Creedy - Reign of Fire

I vote to Kick off..... TeamOne-Two.gif

Question: Which man would be most likely to survive being lost in the wilderness with only a pocket knife and a canteen of water?

My answer:

TeamMikeB.gif Because he is a former US Army Ranger and Special Forces service member. You don't get better trained than that to survive in the wilderness with limited means.

OK, Here goes! I vote to boot Mister One-Two. See you, go back to your dance lessons now!

As for Immunity: Many of the remaining characters would be able to survive in the Wilderness with a pocket knife and a canteen of water, but I think

the most capable would be Mike Banning. He is former Special Forces, Ranger Division. Rangers can survive anywhere, anything, any time! That's my vote and I'm sticking to it! :catfight:

Got your votes and answers, Kathy and Suzie! :)

I also am voting off Mr.th_TeamOne-Two.gif

Immunity question answer: I also believe that although many of the other characters could survive under these conditions, th_TeamMikeB.gif has the advantage of his Army Ranger and Special Forces training. Clyde also would probably do well if he had access to all his gadgets, but my answer is MIke B because of his Army Ranger and Special Forces background. :)

Edited to clarify my answer. I was breaking my own rules! :bonk:

Once again, Leo to get the boot...

Answering that question of course it would be Mike B.because of the survival training he would have had in his military experience ..... I just hope next weeks question isn't something like...who would be more proficient at jumping out of a helicopter....LMAO. :D

Aw, Sue, now you ruined Elissa's "who would be most likely to visit the White House on a routine basis" question for next week!   Just joking, I have no clue what next week's question is!   :behave:

Besides if I DID know and spill the beans, she would find a way to retaliate, I'm sure!   :sh*tfan:      :p

Alright, already - One-Two be gone!

And even tho I think the Stranger could survive (because he'd have me with him) - I'll go with Mike as the most likely to survive

because of his background, training and dedication to the task at hand........

Guys, Leonidas wouldn't survive with such items. Water - yay! but he wouldn't know what's a pocket knife and how to open it and how to use it. So it could be Clyde or Terry.

And I'd like to vote off Johnnie. I have nothing against him but others are more popular and will prevail longer than Johnnie - so let's spare his feelings and let him sit quietly in a corner and observe.

How right you are! :rotflmao:

Got your votes, Bonnie and Marta! :)

Marta, for the question, which one is your final answer? Clyde or Terry? I can only count one answer. :)

I vote off Johnnie this week. Terry Sheridan would have had military training too before he went "bad" plus he survived in that awful prison, so I'm going rogue and picking Terry as the answer to the question.

How can I decide? We get to see them both SHIRTLESS! My good Lady Elissa, choose 1 for me and I'll accept it. And I'll vote for the other one next week so he can't feel left out. :)

LOL, Marta! What does being shirtless have to do with being able to survive in the wilderness? I can't choose for you. Please choose one and say why he meets the qualifications of the question. :)

Being shirtless is crucial. I can't decide when both look so pretty and distract me!

Besides they both meet the qualifications. Terry was a soldier of fortune, Clyde was a special agent, both trained to survive no matter what.

OK, let's say Terry is able to last longer, the prison where Lara found him looks like a very bad place when only a total bada$$ could last more than a minute. Is this acceptable? :cunning:

Since I haven't bonded with him yet, Frosty gets the boot this week.

As to the immunity question, I have to believe that with his past training, Terry would be the one who could survive the longest with a pocketknife and a canteen of water. If he faces dehydration, however, I will do my best to help. :cunning:
