I'm so happy that Brooke is home now. That sweet brave girl has been through so much and hopefully she is now turning the corner to good health from here on end. I sent a prayer of thanks to our Lord.

Thanks guys,

comments always appreciated, but this time I agree the eyes have it this time.

Sue, Kathy thanks for your prayers for Brooke, I spoke with her the other day, she is as bright as a button, me, I was just tearing up. she said to say thanks to all my friends in US for thoughts and prayers, I said we were very proud of her, she replied I know everyone that visits says the same thing, her best visitors are her Daddy and her Nan (my sister Carole)

Hi Sue and Kathy

Thanks for your kind comments, this one is really hard. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can continue, losing my little pal Zoe really knocked me back, getting better now so its upwards and onwards hopefully;

I spoke with Brooke on Friday, it was her birthday she turned 12, she sounded fine, she does have speech problems but on the phone she sounds very clear, she was staying at my sister Caroles, they were going to MacDonalds and then to the Cinema. A very brave little girl.

Okay, off we go, thankyou again for your kindness

June...Thank you so much for Brooke's update. I'm so happy to hear she is fine and Happy 12th Birthday to Brooke!!! Yes, she is a brave girl! Bless her heart!

I know how you feel about losing Zoe. It changes your life completely. I think it gets harder when you are older which is why I am still suffering after losing my last dog, a Westie. I treated him like he was my baby and when age and illnesses took him from me I knew I would not be getting another sweet baby at my age and I am still in mourning over losing my Andy. Keep busy and hopefully the pain will ease in time.

Hi Kathy, thank you so much for your understanding, I am getting there but it was a very hard thing to do, to let her go, felt like I had killed her. I have made a plant for her in my garden, I have got rid of my shed and am going to pu a bech on the concrete base with some pot plants. This is the one I have done in memory of Zoe, Its a lavender bush (2 actually) I had a little poodle ornament so I have painted it cream to match Zoe and she will sit beneath the two bushes in her new hone, it as helped me cos now I can say Good morning Zoe to her.

What a sweet idea. A beautiful idea. I have my Andy's ashes on our fireplace mantel in my bedroom in a beautiful container. I instructed my sons that when I die he is to be buried with me. I know some people think I am crazy but Andy was a member of my family and I don't want him buried at our home in Colorado where other people will live eventually. He will always be with his family. I talk to him all of the time. Next to his container is a statue of St. Francis of Assisi and an angel Westie figurine with a halo over his head. I do what comforts me and you should do the same.

June, I'm so sorry about the loss of your darling Zoe...I can only imagine. I know that my two, Butler and Bonnie are my faithful companions...there are days I see no one but them and I know how I will feel when and if they go before me. {{{Hugs}}} to you my friend.

Tell Brooke I'm wishing her a very belated 4-4.gif

OH JUNE!!! Gerry is gorgeous! Well worth the wait. I am never impatient because I know you are making another Masterpiece and that takes a while. I am really excited to see this one when done because it sure looks FANTASTIC with his gorgeous eyes and hair. I know you hate doing the hair but this one is exceptionally droolworthy!

How is Denny getting along? I love Norfolk Terriers, so cute. Enjoy him! :)

OH JUNE!!! Denny is SO adorable. To love an animal means getting so much more love in return. I'm so happy for you and Denny that you both found each other. Maybe it was Zoe who brought you both together. She wanted you happy again. This puts a BIG smile on my face. :yahoo:
