Sara
I vote to kick off Johnnie Donne and my answer to the immunity question is Clyde Shelton. The reason is that this was such a complex character in that he was a family man who, because of the horrible murder of his wife and daughter, turns into a really bad guy that could not be redeemed, even at the end. Plus he did that in addition to being a first-time producer. Thanks Sara

migotka21
Remove Sam. Clyde was the character which stretched his acting skills the most - from the list. There are several characters worth mentioning but we've eliminated them. Clyde was more diverse than other characters still on the list. From a happy fulfilled father to a cold-blooded murderer, half crazy from grief, not to mention the part when he was acting "normal" so cops don't see his plans immediately and can't interfere. It all recquires an actor who knows how to act properly. One that just prances around looking pretty wouldn't do at all. Other characters aren't simple but compared with Clyde they are more compact with slightly narrower range of emotions necessary to present them. Diana D
Ok...send uuuhhh Frosty home.....(only saying this since no one has voted him off & maybe he won't get kicked off then I do not have to be responsible for ANY of them being sent home---hahahahaha) Immunity question-----yes Clyde is an excellent choice (and was my choice earlier in the week) but in Gerry's earlier years Johnnie Donne is an amazing character. He is so believable in every aspect of that role--the anguish of a recovering alcoholic, the tender feelings & interactions with Rose, the depth of despair when he couldn't cope & fell off the wagon, his determination to rebuild his life.... So there.................that's my final answer..........................I think..... diana #ILoveGB

lugerry
This is getting harder & harder to do. Bye Bye Dear Sam My answer to the immunity question is Clyde. Gerry held nothing back in his portrayal of Clyde Sheldon. He gave it his all and it showed his versatilety as an actor. Barbara

mommaduck
It is way too hard to decide what to do. But.....I will vote to send home Clyde. He was terribly wronged, but he did kill people.... Johnnie Donne was fairly early in Gerry's career and he gave a superb performance of the tortured alcoholic who finds strength and love during his stint on THE JURY. (At least I HOPE he found love.) Let's give him immunity.

RocknRolla77
I vote off Frosty Hesson. Clyde Shelton stretched Gerry's acting skills the most because he was able to display the various aspects of Clyde's personality without making the character seem like a cartoon. Texas gramma
Just checking to see how things are going and it looks like we still have ties. I'm gonna change my vote to boot to Frosty, and give Sam a reprieve. Now maybe we can get this cooking again. Susie

Lady Elissa
Welcome to Gerry Character Survivor 2015 Week 21: And then there were five! NO MORE IMMUNITY VOTES! Each week (weeks 21-24) we will vote to eliminate ONE man from the game until only ONE man remains. That man will be the 2015 Champion and will join the previous winners in the Hall of Champions. The Champion will be announced at the beginning of Week 25. This thread is open to discussion about Gerry's characters, and why you love or dislike specific characters. Feel free to form alliances to save your favorites from elimination! Voting will end each week on Sunday at 8pm Pacific time, 10pm Central time, and 11pm Eastern time. (NO LATE VOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED.) Our previous champions are: Erik, the Phantom (Phantom of the Opera), Gerry Kennedy (P. S. I Love You), Andre Marek (Timeline), Attila (Attila), Beowulf (Beowulf & Grendel), Mike Banning (Olympus Has Fallen), and The Stranger (Dear Frankie). Please note that they are NOT included in this tournament. They are enjoying retirement in the Hall of Champions where there are no unhappy endings. They are replaying their movies and telling each other tall tales of their days of glory. Eliminated last week was Clyde Shelton. The Immunity Question winner was Johnnie Donne. Texas gramma
Hmmm, no more Immunity, huh? OK, this week I vote off the lovely and talented Sam Childers. Never an easy thing to do, but none of them are. Susie
Lady Elissa
Yep, Suzie, Immunity voting is over. It's mano a mano now! (Note, however, that Johnnie Donne and King Leonidas ARE immune this week, but no one will be immune after this week) As difficult as it can be to decide who to vote off , just remember that if no one is voted off, we won't have a champion! With that in mind, my vote this week is to say goodbye to DISCLAIMER: No characters are physically harmed in any way in this game! I am, however, going to go with Frosty...Really hate to do it, but the one I would have voted off is immune at the moment...
