Welcome to the 2016 Edition of Gerry Character Survivor!

Week 17- Immunity Questions Begin

Gerry's characters are all now abandoned on an island. Each week (weeks 17-21) or until only 5 men remain, we will vote to eliminate one man from the game and will answer one Immunity Question, saying which man "fits" the question and WHY. Incomplete answers will not count. The man who is named as the "answer" to the Immunity Question the most times in one week will be immune from elimination the following week. At the end of the Immunity Questions round of play, the surviving man with the most "wins" will receive an additional week of immunity at the conclusion of this round of play.

This thread is open to discussion about Gerry's characters, and why you love or dislike specific characters. Feel free to form alliances to save your favorites from elimination!

Voting will end each week on Sunday at 8pm Pacific time, 10pm Central time, and 11pm Eastern time. (NO LATE VOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED.)

Our previous champions are: Erik, the Phantom (Phantom of the Opera), Gerry Kennedy (P. S. I Love You), Andre Marek (Timeline), Attila (Attila), Beowulf (Beowulf & Grendel), Mike Banning (Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen), The Stranger (Dear Frankie), and King Leonidas (300). Please note that they are NOT included in this tournament. They are enjoying retirement in the Hall of Champions where there are no unhappy endings. They are replaying their movies and telling each other tall tales of their days of glory.

Week 17- Voted off last week was Set. The Exile Island winners were Creedy and Johnnie Donne (tie). They are immune from elimination this week. The overall Exile Island winner with five trips to the Island was Johnnie Donne. He will be immune next week as well.

Please make your vote very clear. For example: I vote to kick off (send home, boot off, eliminate, etc) Joe Blow. The answer to the Immunity Question is John Doe, BECAUSE.....Incomplete answers (those that give no reason) will not count. :tomato:

In no specific order, here are our competitors: Please vote one OFF. Please answer this Immunity Question: Which man would have the easiest time blending in with the population if he were suddenly transported back in time 500 years, and WHY? Please note that "because he's my favorite," “because he’s cute,” "because I want him to win," etc. are NOT acceptable reasons and will NOT be counted! :inshade:

Frosty Hesson- Chasing Mavericks

Sam Childers - Machine Gun Preacher

One-Two - Rock'n'Rolla

Terry Sheridan - Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life

Johnnie Donne - The Jury - Immune

Oooo, this is my favorite segment of this game!!

Ok, this week I vote off Jack Rusoe because he really wasn't around long enough to love him.

As far as the immunity question, I think Creedy would probably be able to blend in best, because he is already used to living a more primitivel lifestyle than anyone else.

Got your vote and answer, Suzie, and I agree completely! :)

This week I'm also voting off Jack Rusoe. The answer to the Immunity Question is Creedy. He has been living underground in primitive conditions and is used to life without cellphones, computers, and other modern conveniences. With his ability to adapt, he should have no trouble blending in with the locals.

And I also am in complete agreement....

If Creedy can live presently in the state he does he can certainly live anywhere and make it work. And Jack, goodbye.

I vote off Jack Rusoe. My answer to the immunity question is Creedy! Creedy was living in the past so it would be easy for him to blend in to any time back in time.

I vote to say good bye to One-Two.

The answer to the immunity question is most definitely Creedy because, as all the others have said, he could easily adapt to life in the 1500's....much more easily than any of the other characters. Even in the futuristic/sci fi/fantasy setting, he just looks the part!

I too would like to say goodbye to Jack Rusoe and send Creedy to Island, if he could live the way he did then he can mange on an Island, just make sure there is a fire extinguisher nearby.

Got your vote to boot Jack, June, but there is no more Exile Island.

Reminder to all, that Exile Island has ended. We are now in the Immunity Questions phase of the game. Instead of Exile Island, please answer this question.

Immunity Question: Which man would have the easiest time blending in with the population if he were suddenly transported back in time 500 years, and WHY?

Sorry

as voted Jack to go Home, Creedy for Immunity, cos he could cope with that era much easier, than the rest of the gang, hes been there before a few times

Adios, Mike Chadway! I think Terry Sheridan would have the easiest time blending in with the population if he were suddenly transported back in time 500 years because of his experience with antiquities and knowledge of history (due to his time with Lara Croft, for example). He would know how to behave and adapt to his new surroundings and time period.
