I hope this is the right place to post this. Is it just me, or does he look annoyed being filmed for a second time picking up his car? For those with better sound on their computers, I could swear he make a comment about what could the possibly need so much footage of him for? Am I hearing right? If that's what he was saying, he's got a good point. I can't understand WHY I'm interested in these videos either, but I am. (*hangs head in shame*)

But, yes, he does look alittle irritated to me too. :whome2:

It must bug him because he in only waiting for his car & not doing anything exciting .

And yes, he did say that. :goodjob2: Good for him.

I really don't like those vids - I admit I watched it but it made me feel bad for him. I'm sure he is aware that with gaining more popularity, he will be more and more hunted down like this. But still - its just disrespectful.

And I have too much respect for him, especially after Vegas.

It doesn't make it any better, but I don't think he's being "hunted down" yet. I think so far, he just happens to show up where pap photogs and videographers are hanging out, hoping to catch some stars. Honestly, after the last video taken of him at the same place, I didn't expect him to show up there again. He must really like that club. :D BTW, I've heard that's Ariel Vromen with him. If that's who that is, DAMN, he's hot too! They sure area lethal combination. :D

I watched half of it and it made my skin crawl so I had to stop. He looks so pissed off. Imagine having some t**t following you around like that, shoving a camera in your face!

Yes, I thought the fellow in the car with him looked familiar. Now that you say it, I recognized Ariel Vromen.

Poor Gerry. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Imagine how it will be for him after the release of 300.

Geez, I truly felt terrible for Gerry to have to endure this abortion of intrusion. Is it any wonder celebrities go to extremes when confronted by the razzi that feel totally warranted to cast high beams and film on "celebrities" when these actors are just trying to catch up on a sense of normalcy in their lives.

I, too, cringed, when I saw the video and felt some shame at watching it.

Again, not to be mean, but before and when Gerry becomes more well known, if this sort of thing truly bothers him, it's not hard to avoid in LA. IMHO, if it really bothered him being filmed, he wouldn't have gone back to this club, where he knows pap viders hang out b/c he was filmed the last time he went there. Yes, he did seemed annoyed, but he seemed more annoyed like, "why do they bother? what's the point? do they have to get in the way of me and my car?" rather than "these people are intruding on my life and my privacy."

I think the lesson learned here is, jsut don't go anywhere on the Sunset Strip or in Beverly Hills, and he'll pretty much be unmolested. ::D: Besides, the best clubs aren't int he hoighty-toighty areas anyways! :D

Poor Gerry! And it is only going to get worse. Out of curiosity I watched it but it was painful. I won't watch a second time. At first I think Gerry was fine with the picture taking then the photographer kept going on and on. And why did the photographer have to keep on yelling out his name??? I suppose to get a better picture but still very rude. I hope that Gerry does not permanently live in LA. Or at least goes somewhere else to get some down time.

There is no doubt that it is going to get worse.

I know what you mean...I felt guilty watching that video, but annoyed as well, knowing that some sleazy, ham handed tabloid rat would intrude and disturb him like that...knowing that it's propably only going to get worse is almost depressing...

I think he's clearly not pleased being videoed. However, the little gesture that I noticed was that he was still trying to be nice and polite about it - a couple of times when the photographer asked how he was going, and he did respond each time that he's good, instead of totally ignoring the photographer.

Also I think the photographer's continued harassment was really trying to get a reaction, especially if it's a bad one, eg. cursing, rude manner, then that's what this whole exercise was about, because it can then become another celebrity/movie star behaving badly in public headline.

Somehow I also noticed that The Man has his emergency light on when he drove off........ totally useless observation. ::D:

Wow, i didn't get that impression that you all did...LOL I think GB handled himself quite perfectly, he was polite and played around with the videographer and stepped away when he felt like it. I didn't think that particular cameraman was rude, i've seen reports of some that are just horrendous to celebs.

Gerry knows his star is rising, he commented on that at Vegas at how the buzz for "300" will definitely surpass the Phantom and how it will be compared to "The Matrix" and "Sin City" for it's accomplishments. He's a big boy and knows this type of stuff comes with the territory. I feel bad that he has to deal with it, but this was fairly tame. I think, yes he was surprised, but as etherealtb said above, not annoyed that it was intruding his privacy as he was in public, but that he was perplexed why he was being filmed so much in the first place.

These are just my opinions to put in the pot, lol And I personally don't post things that I find to be intrusive on GB's privacy. But when the man is in a public place on his own accord, i wanna see him! LOL ::D:

I made some screencaps from the vid: http://www.gerardbutlergals.com/coppermine...s.php?album=367

Thanks Stef for the screencaps. I couldn't believe how efficient you are, with such a quick turnaround with the photos.

Stef, perhaps you are right. Now that I've watched your screencaps, it does seem that The Man was not that negative about the whole thing, as he had a smile on most of the time.

Love how he was showing one of his trademark expressions by showing his teeth. ::D:

Imho, it was one annoying guy shooting some worthless footage. Gerry leaving a club, big woop.

If Gerry has to go hide in a store and wait for the cops to escort him to his car, then I would feel bad for him.

Sorry, but geez sometimes I get annoyed with the poor Gerry posts. He's living the life he wants, is paid well

for it, and enjoys his work. *I* think the fans get more upset with it then he does. If he didn't like it, he

could always stay home with Lolita and watch tv in his underware.

I thought he looked MUCH less irritated in this video than in the last one taken at the same club. In this one he's got his twinkly-eyed mischievousness thing going on. In the first one he looked more like a trapped animal.

He did ask them why they wanted to get the same footage of people going in and out of clubs. These paparazzi folks hang around outside clubs where celebrities are known to visit. I don't think they're stalking him or following him or even targeting just Gerry.

Yup. I think Gerry was fine last night and knows this comes with the territory. As long as someone is polite to him, he will be polite.

On the other hand, I think he has very little patience with rude people of any ilk-photographers or not. I think he may have a bit of a short fuse as far as rudeness is concerned.

He might even be enjoying some of this kind of attention a little bit at times. He made a joke like someone (him or friend) should hit someone (each other?) so it would make a great photo for the rags.

I don't think he's recognized by people outside his fan base that much and can get about "unmolested" in public fairly well. One of the photographers had to point out to his photographer friend that the "guy in the white shirt" was the Phantom.

So, Gerry is just getting a taste of the future and its possible he knows its not really that bad. YET. :lolita:

Gerry is a good guy. He knew those autograph people were just using him, but he will be able to set some boundaries when the time comes.

I think he doesn't like Timeline because *gasp* it wasn't very good (in my opinion). I only watch it for the Gerry PARTS if you know what I mean, except the concept Michael Crichton had for the story was pretty cool.

As for adjusting Gerry's seat-which seat are we talking about? I could take a quick computer course on aligning the VERY lower spine. It takes a very special technique.

Hey cool! I actually erm...didn't see this before, so...

Nice face his friend was making, indeed! <--- yep, kind of like that.

"Get off the GD sidewalk!"

People usually shout that to me when I'm in my car...um, I mean...

G was being a good boy and using his seat belt. My "O" my didn't he look hot as new razor? Seeing him in his sexy car is such a turn on.

I was able to hear it... Hmmmm...

I wonder if he noticed he had his hazards on? :laugh4:

Speaking of which...last weekend I was behind a cop who had his lights going, but was just heading down the road, not pulling anyone over, and he was going the speed limit, not in any hurry. Finally, this guy who ended up in front of him pulled over, and as the cop passed this truck...I think he finally realized he had his lights on, and promptly shut them off.

I found it quite amusing. ::D:

I agree Stef. I think he was just curious why they want to film him just coming and going from a club. Not very exciting. And he is on a public sidewalk, which is anyone's domain. Fan were getting pics, and photogs were gettingpics. And he was joking with the camera man, so if it was bugging him, he should not have acknowledged him.

That's my take on it. Besides that, he looked HOT!!! :heat:

Hi, I’m a newbie here and I find this kind of interesting on several levels.

Firstly about the fan and publicity thing; I think it’s great publicity for Gerry to be noted like this and when other people who see this film and don’t know who Gerard is, this will certainly pique their interest. I think that it’s a good thing for him and I don’t think he was being harassed.

Secondly I also noticed after he walks away from having his picture taken by a fan, the lady he walks towards on his left sure looks like the same woman he took to the Elton John Party.

Thirdly, when Gerry buckles up and before he takes off, the interviewer says to him: “You’re a gorgeous star”, and Gerry says, with a very straight, serious face, and not even batting an eyelash: “Thank you”. Do you hear that, or is that just me? I find that rather hilarious if that is what is indeed being said. How often does one man tell another man that he is gorgeous? :kisswink: ::D:

Comments anyone?

Thirdly, when Gerry buckles up and before he takes off, the interviewer says to him: "You're a gorgeous star",

I admit to thinking that the guy filming said what you heard, but thought that wasn't very likely, so I reconsidered and realized that a guy is more likely to say to another guy, "That's a gorgeous car".

What I would like to do for Gerry is to find out who the videographer is and TELL HIM that its not "GeRARD! GeRARD!

Anyone have any idea how to get the message to that irritating guy that it's "Just Gerry"? :whome2:
