Just noticed this thread for the first time so I am popping in to say HI! I was born in Toronto and have lived here all my life. Great city, with lots to do, but I don't take advantage of most of it I'm sorry to admit.

Gerry lived in Toronto for a short time. His dad had a business here.

I have seen Gerry here twice. First time at The Hour interview with a couple of area fans. George Stroumboulopolous even pointed us out in the audience to Gerry, and my one friend received a kiss on the cheek from him. The second time was at The Toronto Film Festival for RockNRolla. Lots of ladies from U.S. came to see him too and we had a great time. I missed him when he was here for Beowulf but I have met Sturla a couple of times.

I love coming to GALS for the latest pictures and Multimedia downloads. And although I haven't lately, I do enjoy the Gaming threads.

Wow; I remember watching him on "The Hour"; by the way I love that show. Lucky ladies you! I am especially glad that you are enjoying this site. It has been "home" for me for a long time now. I live in Quebec; but am English and used to be on the old Warner Brothers site before they closed it. Then I found this site and have lounged about for a long time. I spend a lot of time in the "Birthday" and "Welcome to Gals" threads.

This photo is of my father (still marching in every celebration with pride and in place of his brother in-laws who have sadly passed away). The family will be with him; as he lays a wreath at the Epitaph on the hill in Alexandria for those who served but are no longer here.

Raise a glass to honour all those who served or are still serving on this Remembrance Day November 11th 2010..."Lest we Forget"....

Happy Mother's day to one and all...This is a time to celebrate all your labours of love for those you helped into the world and receive your bounties of gratitude for all you have contributed to their well being.
