The mission of GB GALS is to help empower women to achieve their fullest potential in mind, body and spirit regardless of age, creed, social standing, color, religion or circumstances. All women should know they are worthy and valued human beings; they should feel successful no matter what vocation they choose. GB GALS helps women to realize their dreams and develop themselves as stronger, happier people, knowing they can fulfill all their dreams. Too often, women allow circumstances and unhealthy relationships to steal their worth, success and dreams. It is our hope at GB GALS to change that by offering all who visit our website a fun-loving, on-line community support system at any time, day or night. We at GALS believe in the goodness of humankind and the desire to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Thus, this on-line community raises money to help others on a personal basis as well as on a large scale for charities. Our inspiration for this endeavor is Scottish actor and humanitarian, Gerard Butler, who has risen above his own personal and professional adversities to achieve great success. Through his unwitting example, he has inspired many of us to follow our dreams and strive to help others, leaving the world a better place and providing hope for the future. To this end, we support places such as the Scottish Youth Theatre, where young women and men learn about achieving something more than falling into the destructive lifestyle of substance abuse, unhealthy relationships, and unplanned pregnancies. GB GALS puts women in contact with others who may be experiencing the same problems they may have, or those who can help them directly. GB GALS helps women to laugh, to dream, and live by escaping the limited boundaries of their world and reaching out to a world of other women who are excited about sharing their wit and creativity. The future belongs to the children; they must be educated and taught about their worth. We must teach in a way that children will be empowered to become successful adults. GB GALS believe that laughter is food for the soul and can lighten even the heaviest of burdens. We believe that creativity can spark hope in everyone. We believe by being in touch and helping others, a lonely, hurting heart can grow, thrive and be ready to give when another is in need. We would like to welcome you to GB GALS!
